In 1962, immediately after graduation, he tried to enter the medical institute (exams failed), the Belarusian State Theatre and Art Institute (passed 3 rounds, but was not accepted as a minor).
The following year, Vladimir Mishchanchuk entered courses at the House of Folk Art in Brest at the dance department, after which he returned home and worked as a choreographer in the district House of Culture.
Later he graduated from the Belarusian State Theatre and Art Institute (teachers: Alexander Butakov, Vera Redlikh).
After graduating from the Institute, V.A. Mischanchuk was distributed to the Grodno Theatre, and in 1973 he was appointed its director. In Grodno, he received the title of Honored Artist of the BSSR, was elected a deputy of the city Council three times.
He moved to Minsk and took the position of head of the Department of Actor and Directorship of the Belarusian State Theatre and Art Institute.
Now Vladimir Andreevich is dean of the acting faculty of the Belarusian State Academy of Arts, professor, author of 7 scientific and methodological works.
He plays in the Youth Theater and the Theater-Studio of the film actor.
Draws and writes poetry.
For more than 40 years of creative activity, he played over 100 roles in theater, film, television and radio.
