During his creative life, Honored Artist of the RSFSR Yuri Nazarov played more than one hundred and eighty roles. He starred with all the famous directors, and is really a folk actor. And he is also a true - in the third generation - intellectual, an absolute unmercenary and several times tried to ... give up the profession of an actor.
He was born on May 5, 1937 in Novosibirsk. His mother raised him alone - she raised him hard, working from dawn to dawn. Perhaps from there Nazarov has such a reverent attitude towards women.
To enter "Pike" Yuri went for company with a friend. But it turned out that it was Yuri who passed the competition. He studied for six months, and decided to go to Kazakhstan to raise virgin land. Teachers, management, friends discouraged, but Nazarov did not want to listen to anyone, and even then he was only seventeen years old. As a result, Yuri got the opportunity to work as a slinger, a concrete worker, a hammer, a passer, a clerk in a construction office, tried to enter the agricultural institute, the Odessa seafarer, asked to be taken into the army. All this “fitted” in two years, and when at the age of 19 he still received a summons from the military enlistment office, he changed his mind and “reposted” back to Pike.
After graduating, Yuri became an actor at the Lenin Komsomol Theater, and later joined the staff of the film actor’s Theater Studio. To this period belongs one of the most striking roles of Nazarov in the production of director Eduard Martsevich “At the bottom”. The most interesting thing is that Nazarov did not even need to make up, he just let go of his beard.
In the cinema, Yuri Vladimirovich made his debut in 1954 in the film “Big Family”. But the most favorite of his works, he considers the roles that he had to play in the films of Andrei Tarkovsky:
Andrey Rublev and the Mirror. Among other popular films with the participation of Nazarov can be called “Last vacation”, “Liberation”, “Dauria”, “Land of Sannikov”. Among his latest works are the roles of Ivan Ivanov (“Terrorist Ivanov”), Kirill Ivanovich (“True Noon”), Andrei Ivanovich Karasev (“Egorushka”), Professor Ivan Petrovich Laptev (“Indus”), teacher Nikolai Stepanych (“Zabosoval”), father of Polina (“Woman-Winter”), Nikitich (“Escape”). /
