In 1998, the band formed Snow Patrol and signed an agreement with the independent company Electric Honey. His debut album, Songs for Polarbears, was soon released, but did not bring commercial success. In support of the compilation, the band performs at Glasgow Music Clubs. For three years, the musicians are preparing material for the next collection. After breaking a contract with Electric Honey, they find new producers - the company Jeepster, which recorded the album "When It's All Over We Still Have to Clear Up", which was released in 2001.
