Future actress Kobie Smulders was born on April 3, 1982 in Vancouver. As a child, Kobe loved sports and dreamed of becoming an underwater explorer or doctor, but when the girl began to take part in performances of the school theater, she quickly felt a taste for acting. Initially, Kobe worked as a model, signing a contract with the agency. She toured Europe and Asia, but, despite the opening prospects, in 2000 she left the modeling business. In 2002, Kobe made her television debut. She starred in the fantasy TV show “Baddy Hunters 2”. Kobe's performance was properly appreciated, and in 2003 in the drama "In Search of Truth" she received a recurring role. The actress played one of the members of a risky team, which in search of adventures investigates ancient secrets. “Hunters for evil spirits 2” and “In search of truth” on TV screens did not last long. For a while, Kobe played cameo roles in the TV series “Bring Back from the Dead” and “Smallville Mysteries”, then in the series “The L Word” she played a permanent role as a photographer.
The main role of the actress played in 2002 in the short film “Candy from Strangers” directed by Eric Johnson.
In 2004, Kobe in the film “Steping Wide” played a minor, but notable role. The following year, in the same role, she starred in the film Long Weekend, where her partner was Chris Klein.
Later, the young actress was included in the cast of the comedy series How I Met Your Mother, in which she played the role of Robin. In 2006, Kobe starred in the short film Escape, which at the film festival in Beverly Hills was awarded the audience prize. /
