The Star of the Epoch may lack credibility, because the events of the film take place in pre-war and wartime times, which the creators of the project did not catch, but they tactfully changed the names of real characters, as if balancing between facts and fiction. The picture turned out to be touching, sharp, emotional, taking on the soul, and most importantly – true, despite the fact that the characters are far from prototypes.
