The famous comedian Eddie Murphy sings very well. He even has several music albums of his own. The story of one of his clips is simple and interesting at the same time. Michael Jackson, who knew how to choose the best artists for filming, invited Eddie to participate in the nine-minute video for “Remember the Time”, and Murphy did it with pleasure. When Eddie was preparing his video for “Whtazupwitu”, it never occurred to Michael to refuse to participate in it. As a result, they did a great job: Eddie sings a verse, and Jackson weaves his voice into the chorus, and they complement each other well.
The music video Directed by Wayne Isham "Whtazupwitu" left the world with the memory of the close friendship of two highly gifted African American artists Eddie Murphy and Michael Jackson. close

Renowned documentary filmmaker D.A. Pennebaker captures Otis Redding in his ascendancy, singing at the historic Monterey International Pop Festival in June 1967. Comedian Tom Smothers introduces Redding to a crowd that is leaving -- until Redding grabs them with his charged rendition of "Shake." Redding's performance also includes "Respect" (which he wrote), "I've Been Loving You Too Long," "Satisfaction," and "Try a Little Tenderness." Tragically, Redding died in a plane crash six months later. An innovative filmmaker who started in the 1950s making experimental films, Pennebaker garnered an Oscar nomination for Best Documentary Feature in 1993 for The War Room, his behind-the-scenes look at Bill Clinton's 1992 campaign. His other subjects have included Norman Mailer, Bob Dylan, and David Bowie. close

This half-hour documentary by acclaimed director Jonathan Demme ("The Silence of the Lambs") captures singer-songwriter Neil Young and his hard-rocking backing band Crazy Horse "live" in the studio playing a set of four songs. Don van Vliet, alias "Captain Beefheart", is one of the most influential, misunderstood, talked about, admired, copied, treasured, loved and quoted musicians and yet he is still an obscure and mysterious artist. His quite abrupt artistic transformation from working with a microphone to a paintbrush in 1982 and his consequent move from the desert to the ocean meant even less direct contact with the outside world than before. Subsequently there is very little information about Don from this time onwards and this short black-and-white film made in 1993 is an unique opportunity to see and hear this unique man close
