Grebenshchikov Boris Borisovich, poet, rock musician, composer, was born in Leningrad in 1953 on November 27.
The Physico-Mathematical Lyceum of Grebenshchikov was completed in 1970, and in the summer of 1972 Boris, together with Anatoly Gunitsky, organized
Aquarium Group . At that time, it was not quite accepted to advertise rock, and the band lived an underground life, recording new songs and sometimes going on small tours.
In 1974 Grebenshchikov graduated from the mathematics faculty and worked at the Research Institute of Sociology, without stopping writing songs, conducting concerts and cooperating with the student theater. At the same time, Grebenshchikov creates Roxy magazine.
Four years later, inspired by the work of Bob Dylan, Grebenshchikov together with Mike Naumenko, recorded the acoustic album All Brothers Are Sisters.
In 1980, Grebenshchikov was expelled from the Komsomol after the Tbilisi Rock Festival, dismissed from his job, and the Aquarium group was banned. In 1982, he produced his first album, 45.
. Over the next eight years, Grebenshchikov is actively creative. In the early 90s, the Aquarium group ceased its activities. Until 1993, Grebenshchikov headed the BG-Band group. In 1993, "Aquarium" resumes work, at this time Grebenshchikov cooperates with by the Chizh group .
Boris Grebenshchikov is the owner of many awards and awards of the musical world. Since 2005 he began to lead the author's program "Aerostat" on the radio station "Radio of Russia". Boris wrote several works of the literary genre – the story “Forest”, the story “Ivan and Danilo”. Boris Grebenshchikov, among other eminent writers, such as Akunin, Prilepin, took part in the creation of the book “The Book for which writers united, it is impossible to unite them.”
In 2006, Grebenshchikov underwent surgery for vision correction, in 2009 - heart surgery.
