For centuries, Peru was home to highly developed civilizations of the Andes. Here, the Inca kings, worshipping the sun, ruled a huge empire that stretched for more than three thousand kilometers at the foot of the mountains of South America. Here, in the last city of the Incas, Vilcabamba, they tried to preserve their traditions.
