"The scandal that changed the world" - such loud words are used to describe the case of famous producer Harvey Weinstein, who received so many accusations of sexual harassment that would last for several lives. His companies, Miramax Films and The Weinstein Company, which he ran with his brother Bob, changed cinema forever, contributing to the boom of independent cinema in the 90s, but the price of such success is hundreds of broken fates. The documentary is a series of interviews with Weinstein’s victims, and the creators give voice not only to celebrities, but also to those who have long been unable to declare injustice to the whole world – for example, assistants and assistant producers. The film reveals the features of Harvey’s personality, his methods of pressure, and also presents indisputable evidence of his guilt, in particular, a recording of a conversation with one of the victims that preceded the abuse. close
