Eurovision is a song contest. Since 1956, one of the countries of the Old World accepts its participants in the holiday, and in 2016, Sweden has already received such an honor for the sixth time. 14 May on the Stockholm arena "Eriksson Globe" boiled real passions. A grand final was held here, 26 participants claimed victory.
Under the motto “Come Together”, the Swedish capital opened its doors to guests from all over Europe and even from distant Australia. The cheerful hosts of the show “Eurovision: Final 2016” – the triumphant of last year Mons Selmerlyov and the charming Petra Mede – equally worried about all the contestants. Only one of the applicants will get the main prize! close

Chen, a young kid, is battling a cultural conflict between his Russian born mother and Israeli father. She is cultured and used to the finer things in life, including theater and fine dining. He is gruff on the outside but sweet on the inside - a Sabra; and looking to make his young son a man rather than the wimp his mother is raising. One day, Chen stumbles upon a ballroom dance class for young people and sees Natalie, a stunning Russian young girl he falls in love with immediately. His interest in Natalie leads him to taking ballroom dancing and to ultimately bridging the cultural divide of his own family - through the Cha Cha and the Tango. The teachers are a pair of former Russian world champions who never quite fulfilled their potential, but find themselves battling their demons through the instructions of the kids. close

The musical film “Mademoiselle Zhivago” is a tragic and sad story of a woman whose soul lives a real karmic journey, transferred from one era to another.
The film “Mademoiselle Zhivago” is based on the album of the singer Lara Fabian . Nine novels-clips tell about how again and again the female soul lives the earthly life, finding themselves in different ages and in different circumstances. From the 19th century to the fantastic distant future, the story unfolding on the screen is woven from memories and impressions, from the life experience of the heroines of Lara Fabian, and the entire narrative merges into one storyline. close

Riverdance Show is a cultural phenomenon that defies criticism for the enthusiastic and leaves everyone else scratching their heads. The wonderfully talented cast, headed by the Riverdance Irish Dance Company, bewitchingly spins (and stomps) its Celtic folk choreography featuring numerous breathless solos by Michael Flatley (since departed) and Jean Butler. The mellifluous Riverdance Orchestra boasts Davy Spillane, who coaxes plaintive lamentations out of a peculiar instrument that resembles a bagpipe in a metal leg brace. For Enya fans, there is the sound-alike choral group Anuna, who casts a similarly New Age-style vocal spell. Also thrown into the mix are such disparate folk traditions as American gospel and Spanish flamenco. Though it's only 70 minutes long, Riverdance is repetitive by half. But judging from the ecstatic audience ovations and the continued foot-stomping during and after the curtain calls, too much is still not enough. close
