Rammstein’s video for “Zeit,” the title track for their upcoming album, is the typically surrealistic and sensational kind of clip people expect from the German industro-metal group. There are shots of people drowning, scary wraith-like figures menacing kids in a fight, and the band members delivering babies as the sands of time surround them — all in reverse. It’s a visual feast, courtesy of director Robert Gwisdek, for an epic ballad in the group’s signature style, as frontman Till Lindemann sings in German about wishing time to stand still. close

Eurovision is a song contest. Since 1956, one of the countries of the Old World accepts its participants in the holiday, and in 2016, Sweden has already received such an honor for the sixth time. 14 May on the Stockholm arena "Eriksson Globe" boiled real passions. A grand final was held here, 26 participants claimed victory.
Under the motto “Come Together”, the Swedish capital opened its doors to guests from all over Europe and even from distant Australia. The cheerful hosts of the show “Eurovision: Final 2016” – the triumphant of last year Mons Selmerlyov and the charming Petra Mede – equally worried about all the contestants. Only one of the applicants will get the main prize! close

Modern finnish movie about two very different young adults that after a chance meeting end up making music together and fall in love. While Nellis parents have the perfect career and man planned, she dreams of becoming a singer. Through a chance meeting at the studio, she meets the young and grungy Hip Hop music artist Sunen and asks him to help her make a demo tape. Not only is the ensuing story about differences growing closer and the difficulties that have to be overcome, well told. Also the music is exceptionally well made. It is quite unbelievable that this is the first feature of the director. close

A feature-length documentary, Kvadrat explores the realities of techno DJing, using the example of Andrey PUSHKAREV, a Russian DJ recognized worldwide. Filmed as a hybrid between a road-movie and a music video, the film not only illustrates the festive atmosphere of techno night clubs, but also reveals the lesser known side of this profession: weeks of track selection, lengthy travel, difficult schedule. The film suggests to reconsider the stereotype of a popular musician, to find out whether the artist is happy, to ponder what's most important to him and his audience? Shot in Switzerland, France, Hungary, Romania and Russia, the film omits the typical documentary elements: no interviews, no explanatory voice-over, no facts, no figures. The visuals and the techno music replace them, leaving the detailed interpretation to the viewer. close
