Wisher The fourth chapter of the adventures of the green ogre and his friends is the course of the script when the prequel does not make sense to shoot, and the sequel will look too sucked out of the finger. Already in the third film, the giant has lived a family life, found happiness and had children, similarly settled and other main characters, perhaps only with rare exceptions, and in order to leave new adventures in the same time frame, but at the same time make a whole story – the authors decided to use an approach to alternative reality.
According to the laws of such sequels, in the center and climax must lie some small detail, missed at the very beginning of the franchise. So it is, it turns out, for the lack of princes, Fiona's parents almost turned to the villain Rumplestiltskin, and he is an evil dwarf and concurrently the fulfiller of wishes, dreams of power in every possible way to this day. And then he comes across infuriated by the hardships of family life Shrek with one single wish - to return everything back, as it was before - in those days when he was an evil ogre in the swamp, whom everyone feared.
Such is the plot, and if the first third of the cartoon does not leave doubt that the amount of dirt and vulgarity issued on the screen has already exceeded all possible limits, then you can calm down and laugh plenty. Because in terms of humor, the cartoon was generally successful, and those many good moments are really incredibly funny. Among them, I want to especially highlight all the scenes of the Cat in boots, since he is here almost the main feature of the entire narrative, and for the sake of him it is definitely worth going and watching this cartoon.
First of all, this is not a fairy tale, but a comedy. You have to understand that when you come into the room. Beautiful stories will be told without Shrek, and here the banter over the fairy-tale world is being raised into a cult, and the immorality of the boundaries of the permissible PG rating tries to look as funny as possible. The final guilty pleasure is the whole "Shrek", for which fans of this cartoon franchise actually love it, and their sympathy can be shared, and you can also grumble that "in our time in cartoons this was unacceptable!" Such scandal is simply an occasion for discussions and discussions for the benefit of the PR of the film, rather than a serious analysis and collective indignation of the lack of decency. It's funny - and it's laughed at, which for comedy is the most important element. The question is only in the sense of humor of the audience.
Dramatically rolling through fairy tales, you will not do, of course, without a bunch of movie quotes that can surprise and please, look organic and appropriate, and most importantly - recognizable, even if the scene you see in your head is not the name of the film, but the elementary "somewhere I have already seen it." The whole alternative story, which includes Fiona - the leader of ogres, a donkey in the service of witches, a fat cat-fluffy and a carrot-gladiator, is built interestingly and is able to capture the viewer for the duration of the viewing. Shrek’s fourth adventure looks more holistic and interesting than some of the previous ones, and colorful characters every minute try to burn off some joke of different levels, turning the plot into a marathon of jokes.
To all who love the franchise, the fourth part is obliged to deliver a sea of pleasure and meet the expectations. The cartoon is funny, funny, quite bright and spectacular looking due to the beautiful 3D, where even the appearance of the characters still looks like plastic wax sculptures, but the diverse action, regular flights and numerous games with the hall from jumping sparks to the protruding head of the main villain are breathtaking and cause real delight! Comic spectacle, captivating in your world for the time of viewing, and ready to leave a pleasant aftertaste and positive impressions.
