Light comedy, twist-symbol sun-"thaw" 60s. The actor’s “star” of the film looks like Vladimir Etush in the imperishable image of a cunningly-simple-corrupt party-holder of the middle hand of those years (a great connoisseur of the rules of the game) with a colorful-North Caucasian manner of speaking in Russian, the film is worth watching for him. Etosha is well complemented by Frunzik Mkrtchyan, another colorful “Caucasian” character. A bright episodic role of Gluzsky. Natalia Varley fits into the film as his very figurative decoration. The clownade of Trus-Balbes-Bavaliy has not been amusing for a long time (except for hilarious shots, when Morgunov in the “school of dances” teaches Caucasian, performed by Mkrtchyan sparkling, twist – clearly a special style in which individual competitions should be held). Demyanenko doesn't impress me. In the film language, Gaidai strains his addiction to the periodic fussy flickering of characters in the frame, which this film is fully equipped with - and this is already pretty annoying.
The actual pearl of Caucasian wisdom looks like a toast (with an appeal that no one – no matter how high he flew! – would never break away from the team) about a small but proud bird that found itself at the bottom of the deepest gorge.
