“Every one of us has a time machine: the one that transports to the past are memories; the one that carries to the future is dreams.”
Good old science fiction, when chases, shootings and bloody scenes are either absent or far from dominant in the work, are secondary. And instead of them, the creative principle, reason in the broad sense of the word, comes first.
Without action and heroism here, of course, not done, but the balance is maintained.
Separately, I liked the main villain, who, if you look at it, is not a villain. He is no stranger to sentimentality and some hidden sadness for the lost. But at the same time, it is quite pragmatic to assess the world around and its role in it.
Good, soft music, beautiful effects and the atmosphere of the film.
The film left a sense of magic, romance, travel.
PS PS
Separate fragments from the film liked to insert in their videos different YouTubers, that and quite serious directors of documentaries also did not disdain. The film, although not new, but it has something to see, and there is something to think about, if desired.
