John Logan was born on 24 September 1961 in Northern Ireland. When he was very young, his parents moved first to Canada and then to the United States. Logan Jr. grew up a quiet boy with a rich imagination. He did not like sports, preferring to attend a literary circle, where mostly girls went. John spent his school years in Los Angeles and New Jersey. In 1983, he graduated from Chicago Northwestern University, the faculty of classical linguistics.
As a student, he became a successful playwright, writing the play Not Sinners. Then he created several more successful theatrical works, among which the most famous are “Hauptman” and “Amusement Park”.
The most successful films of John Logan were “Tornado” (1996), “Every Sunday” (1999), the script for the film “Gladiator” (2000), for which John received an Oscar, as well as “Oscar-winning”.
