Pierce was born in the English city of Ealy, his father, Stuart Pearce, was a test pilot, and his mother, Anne Cocking, was a teacher. When Guy Edward was three years old, his family moved to Australia, and six years later his father died.
About the profession of actor Guy began to dream of a teenager. The persistent guy at the age of seventeen began to throw letters to TV channels with his data, and, in the end, got casting for the soap opera Neighbours (later this project is recognized as the most successful series in the history of Australian television).
