The first Scorsese movie I wanted to see, and that's the disappointment. Having learned that the film received many awards of the American Academy, I expected from the film some exciting and fascinating plot and story, but, alas, I did not wait. Quite an interesting idea of playing cat-and-mouse two secret agents embedded in the mafia gang and the police with the FBI, the film is implemented simply disgustingly, the so-called mole is guessed from the point of view of the same mafia elementary, but the leader of criminals performed by Nicholson for some reason does not see this. Plus, the abundance of scenes of fights and self-harm begins to irritate by the 30th minute of the film. I keep silent about obscene language (and sometimes the police are rude and rude even in relation to each other). And the thing that got me done was that Nicholson's character was so obsessed with (sorry!) male reproductive organs that I almost turned inside out in the movie theater scene. Alas, I have no desire to revise this masterpiece. I cannot put above 6 points, although I consider DiCaprio one of the most talented American actors.
