But in my opinion, the film is difficult to perceive because of its relevance. A top-Europe boxer who wants to go trampling grapes to the countryside? (not to buy a farm, but to work like an ordinary villager). Have you seen them? And next to him are a couple of slackers who, doing nothing, live on a big foot. The most practical and kind of successful character is Ciro, because he got a job working on Alfa Romeo. All this is difficult for modern perception. The only conflict that seems appropriate today is Simone’s ruined career. Other times are different sorrows.
And the movie's too long. Well, the scenes of slaughter and murder look ridiculous. That's why I underestimated my grade as a modern spectator. I understand very well that the film is exceptionally cool in its time.
