Some of literature's most terrifying characters, including Dr. Frankenstein, Dorian Gray, and iconic figures from the novel Dracula are lurking in the darkest corners of Victorian London. Penny Dreadful is a frightening psychological thriller that weaves together these classic horror origin stories into a new adult drama.
The series is woven from stories having derivatives from other works of the creepy genre. We can say that the plot is a kaleidoscope of events that occur with the main characters when they are distracted from their main (canonical) storyline. Thanks to the acting power of the colossos of cinema: Timothy Dalton, Eva Green, Harry Treadaway, the series has a very interesting aesthetic value.
Cool horror stories, united by a single plot about a beautiful witch and absorbed all known legends and fairy tales. Eva Green here shines in all its dark beauty, old man Timothy Dalton is still charming, as if years do not rule over him, and in general the entire cast is at a high level.
