After Portland homicide detective Nick Burkhardt discovers he's descended from an elite line of criminal profilers known as "Grimms," he increasingly finds his responsibilities as a detective at odds with his new responsibilities as a Grimm.
As always, the first season was good and interesting. And then the series began to slide into a hole. Writers no longer understand what they are writing, directors no longer understand what they are shooting. He may have recovered by the end, but I didn't.

Tales for small creatures. This series took my place among my favorite series (movies). In anticipation of the first episode of season 4, this is the second time I watch the series again. With the same pleasure. The idea and plot of the series came close to my understanding of the magic in life. And stories are short, mostly - each series presents its own story. There are, of course, some claims to some BIG Idea (mysterious key of the Crusaders, royal families and some 'resistance'). I actually think the filmmakers won’t pull this idea, and the series will end in anything but the denouement of this struggle of the royal families and the pursuit of the next Grail. Here, the creators of the series did not count the strength of their imagination. So don't be offended by them! The whole series is very smooth, interesting, moderately tense, moderately fabulous, moderately real. I like this uniform interweaving of fairy tale and possible reality. And really fabulous: the hero-policeman, his girlfriend-beautiful-smart, friends-in-fire-and-in-water, creatures-babaikas kind and not very (very much like the Trees!) and there it could well happen next to us. And maybe Nick Beckhard lives somewhere. You could say that everything is too good in the series. Amazingly good! It's a fairy tale. P.S.: The names of the actors have been changed, any coincidence with real people and events is random. . . Original
