Кризис каждый день: Крах! — прямое 3-х серийное продолжение мультсериала 87 года, действие которого происходит спустя два года после событий оригинала. Создавалось оно уже на другой студии — Artmic, чьи юридические споры с Youmex за право обладания BGC и вылились в преждевременное закрытие Кризиса. Формально новые хозяева бренда старались сделать максимально похожий мультфильм, аккуратно воспроизводя всё то, за что так полюбили bubblegum crisis, но на практике им не хватило то ли таланта, то ли старания, то ли всего и сразу — увы, но магия пропала, а прежнего восторга сиквел не вызывает. Сюжеты стали чуть более банальными и простыми, из всего музыкального сопровождения можно отметить лишь неплохую песню в интро (а один трек и вовсе позаимствован из AD police). Также не радует и рисовка — главные героини, к счастью, получились похожими, но вот в плане проработки всего остального он заметно уступает творению Youmex. Единственное, за что можно хоть как-то зацепиться — финальный эпизод. Во-первых сам сценарий выглядит куда менее примитивным, нежели в первых двух сериях, возвращение старого злодея на роль главного антагониста тут пришлось очень к месту, да и сама ситуация неплохо обостряется (чтобы хоть как-то оправдать название). Во-вторых зритель наконец-то получается пусть и относительную, но всё же концовку — с победой над наиболее опасным противником и хэппи-эндом, прерываемым тревожными мыслями о будущем человечества(рекомендую оставаться до конца титров). Вышеперечисленные пункты спасают мультсериал от полного «краха», но если оставить в стороне простое желание получить хоть какое-то окончание к полюбившемуся мультфильму, то Bubblegum crash окажется лишь весьма средним представителем жанра, которому нечем выделиться среди конкурентов помимо именитого имени.
