"Twilight" or "Sunset of stories of pro and vampires?" I watched this “film” about 3 years ago, but the aversion to it did not decrease!
In general, I love movies about various evil spirits, whether they are werewolves, ghosts, mummies, zombies and of course Vampires. Once upon a time I watched Dracula, it was this film that formed the basis of my idea of vampires.
What do we see at night?
The main character is a “vampire” – a metrosexual, with masochistic inclinations, who does not burn in agony when sunlight hits him, but shines on him like a garland. About garlic and aspen stake the filmmakers were silent, and it is a pity, it would be interesting to know their non-standard opinion on this matter. To complete this “epic” image, he still goes to school (!) at the age of 107 (and is not tired of listening to the same thing for 90 years). It becomes clear that Edward completely stopped in his development.
The main character is a young pale girl, from whose appearance it can be said that she once had a serious jaw injury and now she can not physically close her mouth, while she completely lacks the instinct of self-preservation (another pathology). Because if you tell any normal person you're a vampire, they'll either think you're joking or run off with wild screams if you make a convincing argument. But neither of these things happen in the film. Bella, “to the delight of the audience”, confesses his love.
The rest of the characters are written even worse, especially I was struck by Bella’s father, who at point-blankness does not notice what is happening in the life of his daughter.
The film itself is 1 hour and 50 minutes of boring snotty dialogue and 10 minutes, so, for decency, a plot that was clearly created right on the set. The dialogue itself has nothing to do with reality.
The main audience of Twilight is 12-15-year-old girls who dream of a beautiful prince (only a strange prince turns out: in front of us is an elderly grandfather who still "falls" on minors and can at any time dine with his beloved).
And yet each of the fans of the pair Edward-Bell dreams that under the curtain of this “beautiful love story” he bit her and she too would become a vampire and live forever and happily or until the universe ceases to exist.
The ending of the story is more than predictable.
