Until 1841, Karl studied at the University of Berlin, where he graduated from the external studies, writing a doctoral thesis. Defending his work at the University of Jena.
He planned to teach at the University of Bonn and write a book on Christian art. The reactionary policy of the government forced him to give up his academic career.
From 1842 to 1843, Karl Marx was a journalist for an opposition newspaper. In his articles he wrote about the expediency of replacing the monarchy with democracy. In 1843, he and his family moved to Paris, and in 1845 to Brussels, where, together with Engels, he wrote the work “German Ideology”.
In 1848, they together compiled a program called the Communist Manifesto.
After moving to Germany, he published the newspaper Neue Rheinische Zeitung. He was exiled from Germany in 1849, eventually settling with his family in London, where he lived until his death, creating major economic works, including the book “Capital”.
In the 1850s, Marx developed economic theory while studying at the British Museum Library. In England, he led an active social activity, created the International Workers' Association.
