Grigory Isaakovich Revzin (December 3, 1964, Moscow) is a historian, art critic, architectural critic, journalist, columnist.
Born in 1964 in Moscow in the family of linguists I. I. Revzin and O. G. Revzina. He studied at the Department of Mathematical Linguistics of the Philological Faculty of Moscow State University, graduated from the Department of Art History of the Historical Faculty of Moscow State University. Born in 1964 in Moscow in the family of linguists I. I. Revzin and O. G. Revzina. He studied at the Department of Mathematical Linguistics of the Philological Faculty of Moscow State University, graduated from the Department of Art History of the Historical Faculty of Moscow State University. He defended his thesis under the guidance of D.V. Sarabyanov. For 10 years he taught at the Department of the History of Russian Art of Moscow State University “History of Russian Art of the XIX century”. He has a Candidate of Arts degree. G. I. Revzin is the author of more than 50 scientific articles on the theory and history of architecture. From 1996 to 2000 - Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the journal "Project Russia", since 2001 - Editor-in-Chief of the magazine "Project Classics". He collaborated with Nezavisimaya Gazeta, the newspaper Today, the magazines Architectural Digest (AD) and Gentelmen’s Quarterly (GQ), since 1996 – architectural columnist of the newspaper Kommersant. In 2000 and 2008 he was curator of the Russian Pavilion at the Venice Biennale. He is a member of the International Committee for the creation of a museum in the Melnikov House and the Snob community.
