In November 2009, due to scandals around the journalist, many Russian advertising agencies refused to advertise Russian Newsweek magazine, and shields were removed in the subways of Moscow and St. Petersburg.
On March 15, 2010, a video was posted on one of the Internet portals in which Fishman, Yashman and Oreshkin tried to bribe traffic police officers, but all three denied the authenticity of the recording and accused law enforcement officers of provocation. In the credits of the video, it was written that the journalist took drugs twenty minutes before trying to bribe.
