Alberto Sordi was born on June 15, 1919 in Rome, Italy. He made his film debut in 1938 in the film Princess Tarakanova, and his first notable role was in the film Three Eagles (1942). The peak of his acting career fell on the 50s - 60s. The talent of the actor was fully revealed by Federico Fellini in the films The White Sheikh (1952) and Mamenkins Sons (1953). Among his films are The Best of Enemies (1961), the Swedish comedy TO BED...OR NOT TO BED (1963), The Last Judgment and Boom by Vittorio
