American actor Vincent Price was born on May 27, 1911 in St. Louis, Missouri. Early in his career, taking advantage of his tall stature and pretty appearance, Vincent Price played in the theater in plays of the classical repertoire. In 1938, he played his first film role. In 1939, Vincent played the role of Duke Clarence in the horror film Tower of London. This role not only brought the actor fame, but also allowed him to enter the cohort of the most popular “cinema of the world”.
