Until the age of fifteen, Rupert attended the local specialized sports academy Wyvern Community School, where he received a good education. Upon reaching the specified age, he completed his studies in it, deciding to connect his fate with cinema and theater.
At the very beginning of his acting career, Graves had to act as a circus clown for some time. It was in this role that he managed to appear in about thirty films and almost forty television shows. But, not without reason considering himself capable of great achievements, diligently honed his professional acting skills, and, in the end, achieved his, starring in a rather serious film “Room with a View”, where he appeared before the audience as Freddie Hanichorch. His partners in this film were such famous personalities as Maggie Smith, Judy Dench and Helena Bonham Carter, who at that time was in a similar situation, as well as Graves, just starting his career in film.
