Pierre Ludovico Pavoni is an Italian cameraman, film director, producer and screenwriter. He was born in Rome on April 25, 1926. In 1948, he received a diploma of the operator of the Experimental Film Center - an authoritative film school, the oldest in Europe. In cinema, he began with a job as an assistant operator on documentary films, and in 1952 he made his debut as an operator on the comedy film Husband and Wife. Among his works are quite large films of the peplum genre, including Hero of Babylon
