Russian choreographer and actor Yegor Vladislavovich Druzhinin was born on March 12, 1972 in Leningrad. Egor’s father was also a choreographer and worked in the Komissarzhevskaya Theater and in the studio of pantomime “Square”.

Russian choreographer and actor Yegor Vladislavovich Druzhinin was born on March 12, 1972 in Leningrad. Egor’s father was also a choreographer and worked in the Komissarzhevskaya Theater and in the studio of pantomime “Square”.
Fate connected Egor with the cinema in the fourth grade of school. The boy did not even dream of becoming an actor. However, thanks to his father’s friendship with director Vladimir Alenikov, he was on the set of the children’s film The Adventures of Petrov and Vasechkin (1983). Egor after the trial and reading the script liked the director, and he was approved for one of the main roles. The film gained great popularity and was distinguished by a kind, cheerful attitude, supported by melodic songs. Soon the director released a sequel to the film – “Vacations of Petrov and Vasechkin” (1984), which was no worse than the previous one. The film was about normal children living a “non-Soviet” life. Shy Petrov and inventive Vasechkin fell in love, grieved and just lived. The film brought Yegor Druzhinin fame and fame. But he continued to study in an ordinary school, explaining to his peers that he is the same as everyone else.
After Yegor graduated from school, he tried to join the ranks of students of the Moscow Art Theatre School, but this time he failed, and he went to study at LGITMIC. During his studies, he managed to work part-time in the Theater, performing small roles. At the same time he married his classmate Veronica and together with her, after graduating, moved to America. During these years, he began to get interested in dancing: he taught tap dancing, classical and modern jazz dance, and also danced in the dance quintet “Canotier”.
Returning to Russia, Yegor Druzhinin took an active creative position. He began to work as the head of the dance group Valhalla, choreographed dances for popular Russian pop stars such as Philip Kirkorov and Alexander Buinov. In 2000-2001, Egor acted as the main choreographer of the New Year show “Old songs about the main thing”. Postscript.
