Dmitry Yurievich was born in Moscow, July 4, 1957. Since childhood, he took part in amateur artistic activities, and when he successfully graduated from a theater university, he began to work professionally in the Maly Theatre. He changed the stage twice - after Maly played in the Central Academic Theater of the Russian Army, and then in the Moscow Art Theater.

Like any actor (and Dmitry Yurievich became a People's Artist of Russia in 2000), Nazarov combines performances on the stage and filming in films. Dmitry Nazarov’s cinematic career began with episodic roles, sometimes without even mentioning in the credits, but the audience noticed him immediately, and the directors gradually increased the “airtime” and the significance of this artist’s work.
