French actor and stuntman Cyril Raffaelli was born on April 1, 1974. From the age of six, under the impression of films with Jackie Chan, who became his idol for life, Cyril Raffaelli begins to engage in martial arts. His older brothers help to master these sports disciplines, and by the age of fourteen Cyril already shows high results in numerous championships. However, the desire to act in films and be like his idol forced Raffaelli in 1988 to enter the circus school Annie Fratellini for intensive acrobatics. Soon after its completion, he begins to work as an instructor in martial arts.
In 1991, the future film actor Cyril Raffaelli goes to the theater stage, where he has to master acting. After meeting with director Luc Besson, he starred in the film.
"The Thirteenth District" , which brought him if not world fame (after all, the names of stuntmen are mentioned only in the credits), then very popular in his highly specialized circles of cinema. In the film "Double Team" Cyril Raffaelli starred in many episodes as a double Jean-Claude Van Damme.
Meeting with the creator of the famous style of "parcourt" David Bell radically changed the life of Cyril. They became friends, and following the example of his new friend, Raffaelli is fond of a new style at the time - a symbiosis of sports and tricks. Moreover, he creates, like David, his own team of stuntmen. Together with a professional support group, they participate in the filming of the films “Carrier 2”, “Carrier 3”, “Hitman”, “The Incredible Hulk”, “Die Hard 4” (2007) and many others.
The intense filming program did not prevent Cyril Raffaelli from improving his sports skills. He mastered new styles of fighting equipment, became the champion of France in Chinese boxing, now diligently engaged in improving his qualities as a dramatic actor.
