Charlie Sexton is an American guitarist, singer, songwriter originally from San Antonio, Texas, where he was born on August 11, 1968. He has on his account experience of cooperation with cinema, having recorded several songs that sounded in films, and performing a number of episodic roles.
His full name is Charles Wayne Sexton. Together with his brother in his teenage years, he mastered the guitar, and in 1982 he played 16 concerts in the band of musician Joe Ely, replacing his guitarist who broke his arm. In 1985, he released his debut album “Pictures for Pleasure”, and in 1987, Sexton first got into the support group of musician David Bowie. Later, after gaining experience, Charlie in 1999 began to constantly perform with Bowie, replacing guitarist Bucky Baxter. Together with Dylan's band, Charlie participated in the recording of several albums.
