John Capek

John Capek is the author of more than one and a half thousand songs, including hits performed by such famous singers as Bonnie Raitt, Cher and others. Rod Stewart , arranger, producer. John is a native of Prague, where he was born on November 26, 1946, to a surviving Auschwitz prisoner and pianist. Three years later, the family moved to Australia, where John grew up influenced by the works of Little Richard, Chuck Bury and Ray Charles.
