In 1961, the quartet signed with Motown Records, and for the first few years all the singles of the female group were performed by Diana. In 1962, one girl left the group and the quartet became a trio.
In 1968, Motown Records gradually began to turn Diana into a solo singer, she was promoted in various music programs.
