Rudnev Oleg Alexandrovich (October 9, 1935 – December 25, 2000) graduated from the Faculty of Industrial Construction of the Dnipropetrovsk Metallurgical Institute (1956), the Higher Party School at the Central Committee of the CPSU (1974, in absentia).
Since 1956 – on Komsomol and party work. In 1976-1982 - Chairman of the State Film Committee of the Latvian SSR, in 1982-1995 - General Director of the All-Union Association (film company) Sovexportfilm, until 1991 - Member of the Board of the State Film Committee of the USSR.
