Uldis Vadziksks Born on May 27, 1941. In 1959 he entered the Theatre Faculty of the Latvian State Conservatory, and a year later he moved to the III Studio of the Dailes Theatre, from which he graduated in 1962. At the same time, he began working at the Dailes Theatre, where his mother and father, actors Wilma Lasmane and Hermanis Vazdix, and sister Ilze Vazdika, played. In the cinema, one of the most popular Latvian actors played more than 80 roles. Anyone who has watched the series about Kamenskaya will surely easily remember the private detective from the series Kamenskaya-2. Everything has to be paid for.” Many remember Martins from The Long Road in the Dunes, Inspector Per Monsson from The Unfinished Dinner. He also starred in such films as “Clave is the son of Martin”, “Servants of the devil in the damn mill”, “Finding Captain Grant”, “Mirage”, “Duplet”, “Dreadful Summer”.
He died on May 5, 2006.
