In fact, the girl dreamed of becoming a doctor, but fate ordered otherwise. In 1965, Lilita tried to pass the competition in the opened People’s Studio of the actor at the Riga Film Studio. She did not expect to be accepted.
The first film was called “When the rain and wind knock on the window”. Barely appearing on the screen, she was remembered by the Soviet viewer, because such a face is simply impossible to forget. It wasn't just charming and cute - it radiated light.
In 1971, Ozolinya graduated from the acting faculty of the Latvian Conservatory. In the early seventies, she starred in films, Rays in Glass, Behind the Turn, In the Claws of Black Cancer, Shah to the Queen of Diamonds, Oleg and Aina. The love story of two people who went to each other for almost thirty years, made millions of Soviet viewers empathize and cry at the screens. The delicate soft play of the actress, her feminine appearance were voiced by the velvet voice of Valentina Talyzina.
The picture received a state award and unlimited national love.
After such success, the actress was showered with a hail of roles in the films “A Brief Instruction in Love”, “Personal Life of Santa Claus”, “Double Trap”, “Meet Me at the Metro” “Roads of Anna Firling”. However, the height it reached in Long Road in the Dunes never happened again. In addition, Ozolinya has always worked successfully in the theater.
Lilita has its own studio in Riga, where those who wish can gain experience in knowing themselves. Her daughter Liliana runs a business and teaches in her mother’s studio. The actress does not like to talk about her personal life.
