Tara Barr is an American film actress from California.
She comes from the small California town of Orange. Barr's parents worked for the Southern California Edison Company for a long period, giving Tara and her sister Erin pre- and post-school classes at Boys and Girls Clubs of Huntington Valley.
When the Boys and Girls Clubs of Huntington Valley decided to launch their own theater program, Sister Barr successfully auditioned and took part in several productions at the theater. Tara Barr herself was incredibly inspired by the example of her sister, and she had a great desire to try her own hand at acting.
At the age of seven, Tara Barr successfully passed the casting for participation in the children’s production of the Clubhouse Thetare – this served as the start of her professional acting career. Over the next three years, Tara performed in ten plays, and at the age of nine said that she needed an agent to continue her career in television and film.
In 2005, at the age of eleven, Barr played a role in the short film Road Kill, which won the Audience Choice Award category at the New York horror film festival and was shown on the Encore television channel at the Festival of Fears: 31 Nights of Horrors.
Barr's work included roles in television series on Nickelodeon, Disney and NBC. In 2011, Tara made her debut in big cinema, she played the role of Roxy in the film.
