Jason Reitmae was born in Montreal, Canada. Jason starred in the films of Ivan Reitman’s father (mostly in episodes), and then he took the director’s chair. He became famous after the adaptation of Christopher Buckley’s novel “Thank You for Smoking”. To date, Jason has directed a dozen films, including several episodes of the popular series “The Office”.
In 2007, Jason directed a screenplay by debutante Diablo Cody, Juno, which received four Oscar nominations in major categories, including Best Film of the Year, Best Original Screenplay, Best Actress, and Best Original Screenplay.
