Oleg is a realtor from Murino. He lives with a religious wife and a young son in an apartment on a mortgage. It seems like a typical Russian family. But over Oleg weighs, definitely, some foul-smelling amber. The thing is, he's a drug addict. And one day, going for another bookmark in the woods, loses his son. And then begins a stunning journey of 9 episodes.
Living inside the system is like driving around the country in a bus driven by a suicidal maniac. And Oleg's transport fell into a ditch from which it is very difficult to get out. But sin is not usually in the dark, not in the desire of the light.
It is a dark comedy that gradually turns into a deep philosophical parable. Peter Fedorov here acts as a director, and the main actor, and even the author of the soundtrack. For the Russian market, this is a truly ingenious job. There are numerous references to Refn, Noe, Lynch, Safdie. And the original camera solutions, thanks to which you can feel all this psychedelic hell as much as possible. I haven’t had such an aesthetic pleasure in setting a frame in a long time. And certainly did not expect that “Last quest” will be the most stylish series, watched recently.
Life is unpredictable. And sometimes she throws us quests that seem almost impossible to pass. But passing these tests, the main thing is to preserve humanity at all costs.
A great series, the plot of which could fit several seasons of "Breaking Bad". In general, fans of "Breaking Bad" should definitely like it. A very multifaceted series. Very close.
Author's project of Peter Fedorov, he is a screenwriter, director and leading actor. Last Quest is a reimagining of his 2019 short of the same name. The Creator clearly knows the material and, not by hearsay, as it were, and wonder this and nothing. The author called his hero “Shurik of our days...”, I paraphrase “The new hero of modern society”, the world around which is gray, and only white powder can give the dopamine color of his senseless boring life. This cocaine addict is in crisis, he destroys all the most precious things he has - a man with a distorted psyche and chemical addiction, and Peter Fedorov plays a well-played outsider drug addict with a "nail" who is looking for his kidnapped son.
The creators of the picture are very attentive to all the connecting parts of the work: mise-en-scene, camera decision, editing, acting, visual effects, musical accompaniment, everything is combined in an integral structure, creating a depressive atmosphere of impressionism, exhausted by hedonistic sufferings of an egoist, pandering to his immoral desires. The atmosphere and visual style in the macrocosm of Soviet modernism are the most powerful artistic techniques in this picture. Operating work immerses in the sick inner world of the hero, which is filled with visualization of his delusional consciousness, he as the protagonist of a computer game must perform a game mission, entertaining the player with fascinating contests. Flashbacks from the past, in the form of home video frames, reflect his state of mind before and after, which, like VHS film, demagnetizes and erases over time, visualizing the exhaustion of internal strength. The plot starts the game attraction of a psychedelic drug trip. This is one continuous tragedy with elements of farce, with vivid images and comic characters, behind an interesting visual form hides an arcade uncomplicated plot of an 8-bit TV set-top box; and as the director himself said: “The hero of the picture is ‘Cyber Dante’, this ‘cyber-cocainist with a nail’ and will entertain game addiction, and the viewer will donate on the game stream, choosing between ‘like’ or ‘dislike’; the viewer will either be a subscriber to ‘Cyber Dante’, this blogger will be an evil writer, aspiration for his own infomaniacism or supremism.”
The picture is original in visual form, filled with, sometimes absurd, sometimes vivid, but straightforward quest, the goal of which is to reach the final, in which the counting of the game experience will turn into a mosaic graphic symbol of 'GAME OVER'. Personally for me, it is not a contrasting, aesthetic stuffy arthouse, but I do not reject the picture in any way, just, it is not close to me, for me there is nothing in it that I would like to take, rather in it that I do not need, and for this reason I was not able to watch the series, and therefore I can not be objective.
Oleg is a realtor and a loser, even a sucker. He has a son-schooler, a wife, with whom it seems like only a mortgage on an apartment in a residential area of St. Petersburg. And Olezhya has a drug addiction, in which he escapes from a disgraced reality.
One day, a devout wife goes to the funeral of some father, which causes no less questions than the destructive behavior of Oleg. And our "hero" also decides to leave - to a party with substances and a mistress. But here's the bad luck, first you need to hand over your son to your grandmother, taking a bookmark in the roadside passage along the way. By coincidence or someone’s intention, Oleg finds a cargo in especially large sizes, and his son disappears. Here begins the real quest of Oleg. To get his son back, he is ready to fall deeper and deeper into the abyss, dragging everything and everyone around him.
Peter Fedorov not only played the main character, but also acted as a director of the series, writer, editor, and even composer. You can listen to the album with the electronic soundtrack for the project from the band R.A.Y. Who would have thought at all that this handsome guy from the series “The Club” and “Inhabited Island” will reveal such a talented and versatile creator.
By the way, the series is based on the eponymous short film of 2019 of the same Fedorov. You can look before watching the series, and then compare what is left in the project, what has changed, how images and characters have transformed.
Fedorov showed us the endless almost phantasmagorical fall of man to the bottom. I immediately remembered Fargo and other series, where at first glance normal and ordinary people are dragged into the abyss of events and vice. In my opinion, there is no romanticization of banned substances and crime in the series. On the contrary, we see an anti-example, where addiction leads and how they devour entire families, erase personalities like mold, germinate in all areas of life and enslave. "Drugs kill!" exclaims the series.
And now about why I fell in love with Last Quest: it's cinematic ecstasy, visual art with a capital letter. I have never seen this in domestic TV series, and not so much in foreign ones. It's not just beautiful, it's bold and stylish! The abundance of unexpected angles, work with light, sound - all this brings the project closer to art.
Film sketches are replaced by flights over boundless sleeping areas in the spirit of Nolan’s “Beginning”, chthonic monocolor shots border on chaotic colorful and rave, the density of drunken gloomy visions is contrasted with the sluggish hyperrealism of everyday life. The imagery and metaphoricalness of the picture simply rivets to the screen. Not only visually, but also genre series is very diverse: from social drama to action movie with chases and explosions.
How did Oleg's last quest end? This is not just a story about saving a son a la Hostage. It seemed to me that this was the way of the Fall, of redemption and of the search for lost love: for neighbor and for life.
A foreigner warned me... I watched half of the first episode. Dirty and stuffed junk, all gray and vomiting. He's all gross. Maybe there's a deeper meaning to it, but you don't want to dig a bunch of shit looking for a pearl. Definitely not looking.
"Last quest" - from a short to a nine-part bad trip.
Pyotr Fedorov - this is like cologne - has everything in one bottle, unlike perfume, namely: director, screenwriter, editor - and the main character. To be honest, I can imagine how difficult it was for Fedorov to create Last Quest, where each series is a trip by Oleg (the main character), with terrifying tasks from Anonymous.
For those who have not watched the series, but are already reading reviews, I will say:
Oleg is an office clerk, a St. Petersburg realtor and an avid drug addict who tries to relieve the stress of working with strong stimulants. Oleg has a believing wife – Lena, a son – Egor, and a young mistress – Lyalya, who has a common interest with Oleg – drugs. Lena leaves the city for a funeral, leaving her son Oleg. Ordering another batch of drugs, Oleg goes to the point, together with his son - Egor.
He finds drugs in the woods, in a colorful package resembling a "rave girl" but is caught by the real owner of the goods. In the heat of the chase, Oleg does not notice that Egor is not in the car - he got out of it to look for his grief-father. Later, Oleg learns that he stole a kilogram of cocaine from the darknet store “White Elephant”.
He begins to blackmail Anonymous, who kidnapped Yegor.
Oleg has to fulfill his demand to make an exchange, but everything is not going according to plan.
In fact, the history of this project began back in 2019, implying a dynamic tragicfarce, in the form of a short film in which Alexander Yatsenko, Mark Doronin and Vitaly “Vitya ‘AK-47’” Gostyukhin participated. The duration of the short film is much shorter than one episode of "Last quest".
A big trouble begins to occur with the main character, because he still seeks to use a dose, but he sees the edge in everything and does not sell things from the apartment, or the apartment itself, to get the next dose. He begins to restrain himself, because the fate of his son is at stake, and he needs to make an exchange: drugs for his son.
From all that said, I can conclude that Peter Fedorov has evolved very well, namely: from '101-kilometer' to The Last Quest and other series in which he already participates, which will be released in the coming year. I loved it! And especially liked the aesthetics of sleeping areas, which reveals all the secrets of Murin.

Good, good show. Brilliant acting. Sometimes you catch yourself thinking about the subtle parallels "in all seriousness." But the idea of a person - a constant carrier of trouble, even a simple communication with whom does not promise anything good, in its own way is very interesting. Living around us characters who do not have time to take a shower, to monitor the appearance, but this does not prevent them to start in the general measured whirlpool of everyday bustle. The creator of the series Fedorov brilliantly showed the psychology of a person who fell into a fatal dependence on drugs, mortgages, loans and debts, relatives and friends, circumstances and promises. Modernity is like a rushing train. Once, jumping on the steps of the car, it is difficult to find the strength to pull the "stop crane" or jump. The monotonous depressive sleeping buildings from the height of the copter, too often used by the operator, act in the film as an ominous wall of alienation from the harmony of nature. Endless road junctions, created ultimately to ensure that traffic never stops. All these are very interesting findings of the director, whose success is obvious.
Quite a successful St. Petersburg realtor Oleg did not quite correctly set his life priorities. Having a good family – a good wife Lena and son Egor – Oleg spends his resources on a young mistress Lyal, with whom he lights up nightclubs with cocktails of illegal substances. This curved path leads the young man to trouble: once trying to find a bookmark, Oleg loses his son. Well, as he loses, he is kidnapped and Oleg is now forced to engage not only in the consumption of these substances, but also in the distribution. How difficult will the path of correction of the main character be and will he be able to return his life to its former, calmer course? We will definitely get answers to these questions by watching the debut directorial work of talented actor Peter Fedorov “Last Quest”.
Each viewer makes up his own opinion about a particular series, skipping events through the prism of personal perception. That is, the life experience accumulated at the time of viewing greatly affects the perception of the material provided. That is why I put this phrase in the title of my review: “The quest Oleg is going on, and I’m scared.” Today, having a quite calm and measured life and two children, I can not even imagine what would have happened to me if I had found myself in a situation similar to the hero of Fedorov. To exchange home comfort, life, a sufficiently wealthy life for what? For fun pseudo-satisfying events with people who don't care about you? I think that this series should be shown to everyone who is looking for pleasure on the side, relegating the family to the background. The consequences can be terrible.
And the consequences for the main character are not just terrible, but catastrophic. I’ve already watched seven episodes and can’t even guess which way Fedorov’s hero will steer. Of course, Peter’s work was phenomenal. Taking a short and stretching out so excitingly on a full-size series is really a talent. And not just stretch so that the viewer falls asleep, but make it so that watching the vicissitudes was really interesting. Each new hero who is introduced into the narrative in his place, each new step of the protagonist opens a Pandora's box, from which you do not know what to expect. And being on the finish line, the series still does not even indicate hints - how everything will end.
The series is really realistic and scary. Most likely, the general entourage is influenced by the form of presentation, when ragged montage and psychedelic music with inserts create an acidic atmosphere and naturally show the road of self-destruction, with which the main character is trying to turn with all his might. Fedorov not only managed to trump the script and directorial skills, but he also does not cease to prove that the actor is good. He got into the role well. Secondary characters – the wife of Len, Lyal, Bory (who will probably still play a key role in the series), Valery – all of them seem to be born of history, and not act it out.
I am looking forward to the series finale. This is where my final assessment depends. So far, I can only note that such a realistic experience is not only frightening (what the genre requires), but also fascinating, since the answers to questions of interest ultimately rest on morality: “What are you ready for the sake of saving the family, which has been methodically destroyed by your own hands for a long time?” There are probably no positive characters in this story. Everyone is in the gray zone. But is it different in life?
After the release of the first series of the criminal-dramatic series Last Quest, a heated discussion unfolded in the network. Some called the project the worst and most boring series of the year, while others, on the contrary, openly declared the real masterpiece. The project was labeled “The most drug-addicted series in the history of Russian cinema” and at the same time “Genius audiovisual trip for the chosen ones”. But in any case, most viewers agreed that this is really something new and unusual in our film industry. “Last Quest” is the author’s project of Peter Fedorov, based on the short film of the same name in 2019 with Alexander Yatsenko in the title role. But in the serial version, Peter did not trust the main role to other actors, so he played it himself. In the project he is an actor, director, screenwriter and editor.
In the pilot series, the director, of course, played art house and psychedelic. But the second quickly corrects, focusing on an intriguing genre story with drive, absurdity and bloody thrashing. Of particular admiration is the acting ensemble. Each in its place, all the characters are worked out to the smallest detail, starting from the external image and ending with internal organics. Everything is completely different, contradictory and memorable. And the best part is, there are no faces. An additional plus can be attributed to the visual component. Whatever the picture is, it's a work of art. Every frame, every angle is thought out to the smallest detail. Everything that happens in the frame is justified and necessary for a purposeful author’s message. The series sounds a huge amount of diverse music, ranging from classics and ending with ultra-modern electronics. So music lovers will be thrilled. I really hope that the creators will release a collection of music (OST), because it is beautiful in the series. In general, for those who are looking for a radical novelty in domestic cinema, this series is ideal. And as for the plot, this is a crazy version of “Breaking Bad” in the Russian way with a black, devastation and depressive atmosphere of escalating horror, where the finished drug addict and the worst father/husband in the world after the disappearance of his son is forced to become an influential drug dealer, using all available methods, ranging from recruiting family members + gangs of homeless people and ending with a tough dismemberment of potential enemies with a chainsaw. Against the background of crazy saturation of events, it is difficult to assume the end of the first season. There will either be complete savagery (furious game), or the authors will end on a bright plot hook for the second season without a specific denouement. For me, this is one of the best shows of the year.
This is the beginning of the first series and we have a kitchen in which a man named Oleg sits. He is covered by reclusives and meticulous, very strange type, his wife tries to call him to responsibility and visit the father.
It immediately becomes a little stuffy, but not because the camera constantly changes the plan, referring to the unstable state of the main character, but from the cliche, with all this devout great martyrdom of wives in the lair of a finished sinner.
As the plot progresses, stereotypes become more and the absurdity begins to heat up: Oleg now and then maneuvers between the "bag" and the "superman", he loses his son, then wets people with a pneumatic gun, then timidly before his mistress, then easily climbs between the loggias on the 18th floor, then can not reason with his wife on the phone, then hires a whole squad of bums to implement the forbidden mountain, then shamefully lies to his mother, then saws in the kitchen with a chainsaw soaked with the same nail pistol people (o). This all causes neither compassion nor admiration, it causes a feeling of hastily assembled on a sharp agenda of confused thrash, from which you want to tirelessly exclaim some mats.
There's no one to sympathize with on the show. Everyone seems like a bad ride. Even the son of Oleg, who, in general, was stolen by the barons, feels, as they say, doubtful, but ok and under the video reads to the father a poem about the path and the line. Why isn't he scared? What is the meaning of this verse?!
I did not expect anything good immediately after the first series, but after the fifth I am sure of the bad.
I cannot imagine why Peter Fedorov, this stately, restrained, intelligent actor, suddenly chose such a topic and so frankly did not understand its essence. How subtle and terrifying it would be to show a hero playing a really double game, trying to pull this thread of social life over the abyss of use. But instead, we get a rough image of a stubborn marginal, placed in fantastic circumstances, where instead of a thriller, some kind of capito is already naturally in some places.
Of course, there was hope.
Realtor Oleg leads a loose lifestyle, the rhythm of which is set by prohibited substances tightly entered into the life of men. Very quickly, Oleg ceases to notice that he loses control of his own life and his whole routine is reduced to finding a dose of fun. Once Oleg goes with his son for another dose and by chance in his hands is a large batch of drugs. In joy, our grief realtor rushes home, not noticing that his son disappeared from the car. Having experienced a nightmare from what happened, Oleg quickly realizes that he is now in the hands of powerful people who force him to perform some sequence of actions in exchange for the life of his son. Trying not to go crazy, Oleg begins to pass this deadly last quest.
It often happens that older men are not adults mentally. When a man in adolescence did not walk, then serious problems begin. It would seem that Oleg is doing well: a good job, money, wife and child. Live your life and be happy. But no. Oleg needs a holiday every day, which he shares with his young mistress Lyalei. And of course, this way of life often leads to the bottom. It is on this day that Oleg found himself, when his weaknesses rule his life, and the safety of loved ones hangs in the balance. It seems to me that this series of Peter Fedorov is extremely relevant in our days, when weak-minded people have the opportunity not only to earn dashing money, but also to spend it.
The series stands out against the background of numerous modern Russian works. There are no prosaic crimes, there are no openly good and bad. All the action takes place in the gray zone, where it is difficult to predict the next action of the heroes and it is very difficult to immediately understand who to empathize with? After five episodes, I have not yet clarified my personal attitude towards the main character. Yeah, he's confused. He put his family at risk and put their lives on the line in a crazy game. But does he deserve redemption? I think so. But first, Oleg needs to sort things out, save his son, and then decide what to do with his life.
Peter Fedorov managed not only to visualize an excellent epic about the existential crisis, but also reliably get used to the role of a confused, but purposeful, stumbled metropolis inhabitant, among whom you can easily recognize your friends, relatives. The author also managed to create a fascinating atmosphere, which, combined with an unusual montage and adhesive narration with each series, plunges the viewer deeper into the abyss of human vices. In addition to Fedorov, other actors look good here. For example, Sasha Serzina, who played the role of Oleg’s wife. Having first appeared as a weak-character religious fanatic, under the pressure of circumstances she did not break down, but decided to lend a shoulder to her suffering husband. Even if he is guilty of everything, but there will be a showdown later - she decided - and for the sake of her son she was not afraid to get dirty in all this dirt.
Dobrynin, Madianov, Germanov, Lavrentiev – each of them gives an excellent performance, being at the same time just a puzzle in a complex quest, which will pass the main character. And Peter Fedorov with his expression and incredibly creative approach to his brainchild (and the series was born from a short film by the same Fedorov) demonstrates that a talented person is talented in everything. Picture, music, plot twists, characteristic characters - all this causes the viewer who loves puzzle series, genuine interest.
Of course, in the middle of the series, it is difficult to say how high-quality the product turned out Fedorov. Everything will depend not only on the finale, but also on the message that the series will ultimately carry. But so far, "Last Quest" has been keeping up. Each series imbues the story with new colors and the path taken by the hero makes the viewer convinced that for the main character this deadly game is actually worth a candle. I haven’t seen such an intelligent series in a long time. Bravo, Peter!

No matter how disgusting the main character is, the viewer is ready to justify him and empathize with him on one condition: the hero has a quality, perhaps only one, that makes him outstanding. The quality for which a hero can be loved and for which he can be forgiven any crime. If the hero does not have this quality, then watching him very soon becomes simply disgusting. Even a well-designed plot does not save in this case.
In front of the protagonist, stuffed with as many modern vices as possible: he drinks and uses drugs, and cheats on his wife, at work he does not shun fraud, and he does not really care about his son. All that happens to a hero after all this beautiful exposition is presented to us is the cleaning up of his own shit.
We know many villains in the history of world culture, from Macbeth to some Walter White. Each of them is amazing and surprising. It may be the strongest will to achieve a goal, it may be an incredible intellect, even if it serves evil. Our hero Oleg, with all his vices, is completely talentless. He is ordinary, he is a weak-willed gray mouse, and it is remarkable here that this fact is relished by the authors of every detail of his image.
Perhaps, if Gogol Bashmachkin is a classic, then such a hero will have admirers. We wish him well on his way to the hearts of the people.
A resident of the metropolis Oleg everything in life is good – a good job, a wife and a wonderful son. At first glance, in fact, Oleg has long been mired in a kaleidoscope of all kinds of addictions, and spends the dark time of day in entertainment establishments with a young mistress Lyalei. One day, Oleg goes with his son to search for prohibited substances and in a hurry overlooks the boy. After recovering, Oleg realizes that now his son, like himself, is in the hands of mysterious intruders. Now he has a deadly quest full of dizzying and dangerous events, at the end of which he can meet with his missing son.
Peter Fedorov is a talented actor. In almost every project he complements the action with his character. Whether it is “Icebreaker”, “Duelist” or “Dyatlov Pass” – the hero of Fedorov is certainly remembered more than others. And that’s how any self-respecting actor with a certain status, the actor decided to become a director. And the idea of the series “Last Quest” did not grow out of nowhere. Apparently, Peter was carrying his brainchild for a long time, since the original short film from which this project grew was shot back in 2019. And now the new director / screenwriter / actor / producer Peter Fedorov gives us his serial film about the adventures of realtor Oleg.
It turned out that Fedorov almost everything: and to create an excellent character-a villain, thanks to an unexpectedly crazy acting game; and to create a surreal atmosphere uncharacteristic for such series by visual and sound methods; and torn and unusual editing to show events in a frightening manner; and the script to captivate the viewer so much that waiting for the next series also turns into a pleasantly painful quest.
Also, the creators managed to pick up such an unusual cast that each of the characters not only merges into the story, but really affects the narrative with their character and image. Whether it is Roman Madianov, Evdokia Germanova, Rostislav Lavrentiev or Alexander Serzin, each of them makes their character a full-fledged puzzle in the overall picture of the deadly puzzle that continues to solve our protagonist. It is very interesting to see the characters and their relationships.
Four episodes are not enough to fully appreciate the series. However, personally, these four episodes were enough for me to understand that I was in front of a really worthwhile thing that is interesting to watch myself and not ashamed to advise friends. And given that the plot to the adventures of Oleg is joined by his wife Lena (this is not a spoiler), who also has a strange and amazing texture, we can confidently look to the future and assume that the finale of the season will be no worse than the beginning. Don't miss Last Quest. I am sure that many will like it and surprise with its twists.
Realtor Oleg feels good in his native Peter. He earns quite well, he has a wife and son, as well as a cheerful mistress who is very skillful at organizing leisure. There is a truth to Oleg and one small drawback - he is a drug addict. And he does not consider himself such, but his way of life, his inner state, says otherwise. Because of this, strange things gradually begin to happen in his life: a package of drugs appears in his kitchen and his son disappears at the same time. Moreover, unknown people come into contact with him, who put forward conditions for him, after which Oleg will be able to return his son. And now our hero goes into all seriousness (although at first it seemed much more) to be able to return his son home, and with him his former life. But will he have the strength to do everything?
Everyone has their own list of movies and TV series, which is difficult to say unequivocally whether they like or not. I have one, too. “Requiem for a Dream”, “Twin Peaks”, “On a Needle” – all these projects are very dear and beloved to me, although I do not like them terribly. I don’t know what words to describe my attitude towards them. That's exactly the kind of cage for me and gets the new series of Peter Fedorov "Last Quest". With a seemingly simple set-up, Peter (and here he is a screenwriter and director and even a composer) turned out to be an incredibly complex, multi-layered and deep treatise about the existential crisis in a person who has been living in delusion for a long time and whose life factors sharply tear out of the usual “heaven” and throw into the meat grinder of the most difficult situations and choices. From series to series (and I watched only three of them, but the material is enough for a whole article), I became more and more interested in the adventures of the hero, who suddenly opened his eyes and drug metaphor turns into an incredibly strong thriller about saving his son.
The series is incredibly profound in its meaning. Also "Last Quest" is very unusually filmed and the form of presentation distinguishes it against the background of passing thrillers of recent years. The music that “drives the viewer into the right state”, as well as the stunningly unusual acting of Peter Fedorov himself makes him greedily cling to each new series in the desire to know the next answer to the next question. And very quickly when viewing the primary “perplexity” is replaced by “the desire to know what will happen next”. And it's incredibly enjoyable. I consider this series one of the best works in the career of Peter Fedorov and one of the best tense Russian series of this year. The discord in which the hero is and the way he puts himself together in pieces is incredibly fascinating and I want to look further and further. I’m happy to be on the show and I sincerely recommend it!
A drama about the complexities of irresponsible fatherhood.
Oleg is a good family man. He earns well, provides for his wife and son (and also a mistress), and in general – keeps the brand of a successful middle-aged man. However, he has one secret: Oleza is a drug addict. Because of this “fascination”, the rhythm of his life sometimes fails and in some matters it is not very reliable. So it’s no surprise that when his wife leaves town and leaves Oleg with his son, things get out of hand. Because of his addiction, our hero manages in five seconds not only to have sinister enemies, but also to lose his son. Now, to return his old life back, Oleg needs to pull himself together and do the impossible.
There is such a thing as a “female fatale”. They are always played by spectacular and exciting actresses. Is there such a thing as a "fatal man"? I don’t know, but the embodiment of this term for me is Peter Fedorov. Everything he does, I like. As soon as he appears on the screen, says a few lines and that’s all, I’m a fan of the series / film and how pleasantly surprised I was when the offer of “Okko” slipped me the premiere of the new series Fedorov. And not just the show where he plays. A series that a talented artist wrote, directed and even wrote music for him. I immediately knew it was mine.
This series is an incredibly exciting drama about human relationships. Many men, like the main character, in the bustle of their “manly affairs” often forget why they pedal every day. So Oleg, succumbing to the temptation of relationships on the side and the availability of prohibited substances very quickly loses and confuses life guidelines. The fact that he loses his son in pursuit of pleasure is a regularity. It always happens when you don’t give enough time to things that matter. Therefore, I believe that this dramatic series has a certain instructive context, which will be useful to familiarize many modern viewers.
"Last quest" is made incredibly high quality. I rarely talk about special effects in Russian TV series, but here it is worth paying attention to them. The work of the operator and the style of the presentation allows the attentive viewer to plunge headlong into the crazy world of the main character and quite clearly feel all his experiences. I am sure that the drama that unfolded at the beginning will be followed by an equally dramatic climax and denouement. It cannot be otherwise, since such a person as the hero of Fedorov needs a truly cruel life lesson to return his usual family life. After watching the first episodes, you are once again convinced that drugs are evil. And an even greater evil is irresponsible fatherhood, which may well ruin the lives of children.
I am very happy with the new work of Peter Fedorov. They will be happy to watch the development of events and analyze the plot, since it is actually a storehouse of instructive life narratives that we should pay attention to – young and carefree. The road down is always easy. But not everyone is allowed to go back up. I wonder if Oleg can do it.
Realtor Oleg lives a full life of a middle-aged man in a modern metropolis. He has everything you can dream of: money, home, family, son. He even has a young mistress who is always ready to bring to the dull routine life of Oleg a night colorful and noisy “engine”. It would seem that what else can you dream about? However, Oleg has one drawback: he can maintain such an intense rhythm of life only with the help of stimulants. And then one day, a simple request of the wife to sit with the child and the desire to simultaneously get “energizing joys” lead to disaster. Now Oleg has to go through a real death quest, the reward for which will serve not only his own life, but also the life of his son.
I see a temporary stagnation at the Hollywood Content Factory benefiting the domestic film industry. Almost every week we are presented with intriguing projects that are not inferior in quality to their overseas colleagues. Moreover, the quality improvement is observed in everything from the script to computer graphics.
Actor Peter Fedorov with his projects has long proved to the viewer that he is very diverse and quite talented. Movies and TV series with his participation are always of interest to me. Now he decided to prove to everyone that he is not only a talented actor, but also a talented director. Turning his own short film four years ago into a full-fledged series, Fedorov was able not only to stretch the idea for several episodes, but to provide us with a rather interesting story with excellent characters who have a complete order with characters, motivation, and disclosure. The question of careless attitude to children, which is raised in the series, is incredibly relevant today. Often adults simply forget about the meaning of everything they do and easily succumb to short-term cheap whims. And in the series it is well shown that such behavior is always punished. And a person has a difficult choice - to remain an animal or become a person. This is exactly the choice of the hero Fedorov we will watch.
I have only watched one episode so far, but I can already say that the series is very qualitatively made and it will be pleasant to watch not only for fans of pure thrillers, but also for those who respect the tense dramas about the sharp turns of adult life. Fyodorov shows that the most important thing to worry about in life is our children. Everything else is dust, which at any moment can disappear like dew in the sun.
Excellent, interesting, high-quality and exciting series, which I will watch with pleasure!
