Once Andrei Pershin, better known by his creative pseudonym "Zhora Gooseberry", managed to prove himself well with the short film "The Curse" in 2012, drawing the attention of Timur Bekmambetov. And already the debut feature film "Bitter!", shot in the style of mocumentary, Kryzhovnikov did at the studio "Bazelevs". You can discuss this debut as much as you like, but the fact remains that in 2013 it was one of the most commercially successful film projects. The fact that a sequel came out a year later (in my opinion, completely miserable) was highly expected. It was much more interesting to see which way the director would go. Will he be able to move away from the genre of “folk comedy” about Russian drinkers using a handheld camera and ragged editing, or will we have another “Bitter!”? The answer was not long in coming, and at the end of 2015 the next comedy “The Best Day” was released, which Kryzhovnikov shot, inspired by Ostrovsky’s play “An Old Friend Better Than the New Two”.
Honestly, the impression of the film was mixed. For all his attempts to move away from the wedding dilogy (transferring the action of a new picture from the resort of Gelendzhik to the middle strip of Russia, attracting new faces to the shooting), Kryzhovnikov still shot something secondary to his debut. And again, under the guise of comedy, the audience was presented with farcical tragicomedy, where alcohol almost plays a major role in the development of characters. And again, there are almost no characters who would like to somehow empathize (because everyone is “good” in their vices here, especially men). Therefore, as the poet Sergei Yesenin wrote: “They drink here again, fight and cry...” And that is typical for the films according to the script Kryzhovnikov here conflicts lead, in theory, to catastrophes in relationships, but to the end disappear for one or two (as if at the click of fingers). In general, nothing new: typical gooseberries.
And if “Bitter!” at one time surprised the presentation (the one that was shot in the style of home-video), then “The Best Day” was declared by the creators as the first Russian karaoke comedy. Not a musical, not a musical, but a karaoke comedy. I can't help but give credit to the creators for the creative idea. But even here, such an extraordinary idea did not work completely, since not all musical numbers appeared coloring over the course of time the lyrics. What was the meaning of this karaoke?
Or here is another example of an unjustified creative decision: a musical number with the performance of the heroine Julia Alexandrova Gloria Gaynor song "I Will Survive". To be honest, I liked it. Not the song itself, but the scene itself. But there was a feeling that this number in the film was like a foreign body. Put it away, the viewer will lose nothing. And so it turns out: “Look, we also in the spirit of Birdman can play with long shots”, which was more like ponts.
As for the cast, in addition to the familiar faces for the viewer, whom Kryzhovnikov removes from film to film (Yulia Alexandrova, Sergey Lavygin, Valentina Mazunina, Yulia Sules) in the film, the main role of the grief inspector of the traffic police Peti Vasyutina was performed by the famous showman and actor Dmitry Nagiev. And this, in my opinion, became the main advantage of this comedy of the absurd, because playing such a dummy, sloppy and mummy, capable of male acts only after taking alcohol, Nagiyev is still funny. Yeah, his game is too grotesque. Yeah, he's overdoing it. But comedy is fine. And in general, I am not afraid to say that no matter how weak “The Best Day” was, it was Nagiyev who dragged the whole film on himself. Very good was the singer from the group “Silver” Olga Seryabkina (for which this picture was the debut in a big movie). Playing a bitchy, scummy, rude star Alina Whispers, Seryabkina looked so convincing that I can only hope that she played a role and was not herself (although who knows them, the stars?).
No, there were some funny moments in the movie (and even some good jokes in the movie). But still to look at the oddities of the main character after another binge was not easy. All these references to Star Wars, petty official crimes, which a police officer goes on duty, are perceived difficult (if the viewer looks at a sober head). And therefore, when watching, there is more shame than homeric laughter. And, of course, spoils the whole picture ridiculous happy ending with Indian dances.
In general, no matter how hard the creators tried to surprise the viewer with Nagiyev in the role of a slut, then with musical numbers, then imprinted on the karaoke screen, they failed to get much delight. There have been worse movies, of course. But "The Best Day" as a movie-mood can normally perform its function. To look and forget, that is all that remains.

- Should I pick you all up? You're all so unhappy!
Yesterday, for the third time, I reviewed this film, showing it to a girl who did not watch it and went on a film search to grieve about, in my opinion, clearly undeserved low rating. Why so many people have taken to him, it is unclear. Maybe it was because they took the film as a comedy? When it's pretty clear it's a sharp social drama. In what character of this film do not poke - everyone has his own tragedy, his situation in which he is stuck like in a swamp and he has no way out but to stick in it. The main character of the film is a mama's son and hen heel, only in a drunken state is capable of some actions. His friend, a man, pull off his sleeve, getting some money, immediately tries to gain self-respect in a diner, getting drunk with shouts ' I go to Moscow, start a new life!' Even Olya, the girl of the main character, seems to be a beautiful smart girl, but she did not enroll in any institute and works at a gas station with her mother, disappearing in this provincial swamp.
- Angela was right: you should have married a rich man!
- Well, yes - we have all the rich around here - who has a garden, who has a car, who has a deadline.
Very well-chosen costumes, very well-written characters, as if taken from life. Everyone met them - and girls in leggings and friends with idiotic jokes out of place. Someone even attended such provincial weddings with bride ransoms and other philistine traditions.
I also liked the musical insert about lonely coarse men who, out of joy in life, have only a picture of a beautiful half-naked girl - there are really many such men in Russia.
The music in this film is not tightened, there is no such thing as in musicals that you sit and wait for the characters to get drunk and the action will continue.
I remember after the first view of the film the song ' Once a year ' I listened ten times in different variations, so strongly she hooked in this film.
And let at the end it all ends with one big Indian finale ' everyone dances and sings' - even the music is slightly parodied into Indian, but the film is not really a comedy. This is a satire, a sharp satire on our present provincial philistinism.
The first 90 minutes of the movie, I wanted to turn it off and forget it forever. Checked. I did it the next day. Then again. And again : In my opinion, a masterpiece. It was filmed by people with a healthy sense of humor, well aware of this world, and, firsthand, familiar with the border states of alcoholic intoxication : Again, the film is musical, the cast is impressive. . . I recommend to look in proud loneliness, without fuss and distraction to other people's opinions.
Surely many of you caught yourself on the fact that, having seen a film that is outstanding for some outright obscenities and exasperating with its moral ugliness, then (recovering after what you saw) you want to see the rest of the films of this director, justifying a kind of masochism by the desire to get closer to the bottom of the cinema. Here I would like to quote the words of my friend, one of the respected and successful reviewers of Kinopoisk: ' All of us sometimes want to look from the side at the swamp and be glad that we are not sitting in it ourselves' - these words were addressed to them most ' famous' the tape of the once-extinctly beloved Soviet actor, who showed an extreme degree of madness in a locked apartment on New Year's Eve. It was on the same holiday (though not affecting, in fact, the New Year theme) presented to the audience his new comedy young ' Specialist' on ' Drinkers' films, which officially fall into the genre of comedy, having almost no relation to this direction, being essentially mounted videos with mass drunks, shot for big money in beautiful locations and scenery. After a more or less tolerable creation on the theme of the wedding of two people from different walks of life, which was seriously positioned by the authors as a new round in art, doomed to become a hit, and showed in fact a parody of a family video archive with a negligible number of funny jokes, but with a good sequence of events and a picturesque visual, against the background of which organized festivals quickly go out of control and into a drunken movie moments to disgust; a newly baptized art, shows a righteous theme, despite the fact that many people do not suffer from a complete loss of their souls, 39; And here comes another ' innovative' picture from Zhora Kryzhovnikov: under the guise of a novelty, in which famous actors themselves sing songs of famous pop artists, in fact, came out an updated version of the first ' The new format ' which changed the plot, characters and the place of action, but containing in the frame about the same: wedding and drunkenness, only this time everything looks even more absurd, incompetent, and morally ugly - let's show the truth from now on a hundred of the eyes, but we do not show it in life, 39; now we are not afraid of life, but we are not afraid of it in life, but now in life.39>
So, police officer Peter Vasyutin (Dmitry Nagiyev) in a drunken state accidentally meets a girl on the street (Yulia Alexandrova) and conquers her with his ability to sing beautifully. The next scene will show that they are together, but at the moment he is ' in a tie' and he sings beautifully only in a drunken state, and this is a problem, because right now he is already proposing to her. The bride works at a gas station, the heroine of Valentina Mazunina works there, who has long broken off relations with an alcoholic guy. Peter stops the soloist of the pop group on the highway ( Olga Seryabkin in the role of the prototype of herself - and what else to expect from the performer ' hit' from one line about the arrival of the boy's mother during sex?), she is drunk and behaves defiantly when Peter tries to demand her documents, and then, sobering up, begins to apologize, puts him in his car and offers him the opportunity to atone for his offense. As a result, Petty is blowing the roof off a glamorous girl from the stage, although she just uses it out of boredom from being in this hole - but a wedding with one that was true love, because of this, is not good ... And after all, the authors, it would seem, really used a good semantic chord, but the morality here is lost completely because of the 95% demonstration of the use of alcohol in the frame (and exclusively vodka) and drunken debauches (every time with emotional damage to property your own and someone else's, which adds thrash to an already ugly spectacle), which look almost as disgusting as in 'Jubile of the Prosecutor' Kokshenova, although filmed more professionally and richer visually (this is the merit of only the budget), and scenes with the performances of songs in places look very good, sometimes even enchanting, when used clip montage and positive locations and movements ( rest, preparing ' La La Land' - a joke, of course); but the final number, albeit put very colorfully and incendiary, but the repetition of the same phrase from Boyarsky's song is an unforgivable hulture, because it was possible to co-collect a part of this actor, 39; it is more likely to drink wise, etc.' The denouement is banal as five kopecks, but to apply the device always working on impressionable natures ' slow-mo run to meet' the authors are not lazy - quite a sure move that will knock out a tear of tenderness even for those who clearly understand how talentless the film as a whole is.
As a result, Kryzhovnikov in fact just showed Russia in an unsightly light - apparently, there was not enough dilogy ' Bitter!' and coming out about the same time ' (but our country ' glorified' from the heart and also ' Big Rushaka') - Mikhail Kokshenov, penitent in old age, cries with bitter tears, because even ' Life was not so cinematic' it was so rich that he did not show himself in a Russian, and does not like a Russian, because he does not like a Russian, and does not like a Russian in the first one, but he does not have a Russian character, and does not have a sad one.39;>> Nezlobin and Svetlakov, as well as Marius Weisberg, did not descend to this, although they are equated with Kryzhovnikov on the wave of general indignation at Russian cinema, in which there are more and more such spectacles.
Of course, I am not a supporter of Prohibition & #39, as well as the totalitarian regime, Iron Curtain & #39, and the strict censorship of the Soviet era - but why descend to the level of the very swamp that you want to look at only from the outside, without stepping into it?
The film adaptation of the classics; the script is based on the play “An old friend is better than the new two” by the great Soviet playwright, three-time Lenin Prize winner Alexander Ostrovsky. This solid, solid foundation is well felt: the action of the film is developing as convincingly and steadily as the red banner armored train “Joseph Stalin”, thundering and crushing the already and vipers that have warmed up on the rails, rolls along the Russian valleys, meadows and ravines.
Traditionally good here is actress Julia Alexandrova - the true goddess Kali, cold ruthless femininity, capable at any moment indifferently incinerate the whole world. In The Best Day, she’s a man-made fool, but who do you want to fool with this paper? In the final monologue, the same monstrous feminine principle rises out of her calf drawn into provincial trainers, clearly showing who rules this world and on whose conscience the death of billions of tortured human males.
Curiously, for completely fools, the same idea is chewed up and personified by another heroine of the film, singer with her mouth Olga Seryabkina. The dance and musical scene with men worshipping Bloody Eternal Feminine in the shameless performance of Seryabkin is one of the most impressive in the national cinema of recent years.
The conclusion that the director imposes on us is obvious: whoever the woman may seem - a naive purse from Ust-Tyutyevsk or an unbridled Moscow bitch - she stubbornly and steadily pursues one strategic goal: to drink life from a hairy male carcass and sacrifice his bloodless heart to such terrible, unknowable and ancient forces, the goals and tasks of which we cannot understand and comprehend.
What do you need for a perfect Russian musical? Right: everyday story, alcohol, Nagiyev, and songs recognized by more than one generation.
After this movie, I want to dance. What a hilarious and bright film. What a gifted actor! They do indescribable things, showing all the expression and strength of their spirit. There is humor and satire and amazing romance, each musical number is a classic in itself. The naivety and straightforwardness of the plot create an atmosphere of ease in front of the viewer, taking him to an indescribably cozy place where everyone can learn and see something of their own, their own. Where you can relax and relax with all your soul, watching the commotion and bustle of what is happening on the screen, because each frame, each individual scene, is so recognizable, so close to a real Russian person. For all this is inherent in our mentality, no matter how much we deny and try to resist it, considering it something shameful and barbaric.
At first glance, it may seem that Zhora Kryzhovnikov’s film is no different from his other works: Bitter, Bitter 2. However, please note that each director makes one film in his life, which he breaks into several components. And by connecting, similar techniques and moments, this can be understood. Kubrick - symmetry, Nolan - epic, Tarkovsky - appeal to humanity, Bergman - psychoanalysis, Ozu - family values, Hitchcock - suspense, It is this trait that allows Jora Kryzhovnikok to join the circle of outstanding artists.
If you do not cast yourself as an aggressive film club, which is only waiting for an excuse to lash out at another Russian attempt to recreate something folk-binding, then having eradicated narrow-mindedness in your mind, you can see some veiled tricks and references that are not so difficult to find if you look at this tape without a preconceived attitude, but simply trusting the hands of the creator.
The director recreates before us the image of a lost man who, as a result of the past thorny path, getting rid of vices and self-flagellation, finds his happiness in life, which once lost through his own stupidity. Nagiyev with his cynically-melancholy-semi-ugrimass is magnificent. He brings great tragedy and the horror of loneliness when he understands the consequences of a rash and careless act. And these impulses of the soul, the cries of a wounded, almost killed man, like an elephant man: I am cheerful! I am a happy person!, worth special attention.
You can call it a fairy tale for adults, because the level of drama in the final part is very high. And if what is happening is taken at face value, then a depressed mood is ensured. Everything will end in the most magical, exciting and life-affirming way. This is a spiritual and bright catharsis, which is worth experiencing with the main character, like Stewart in "This Wonderful Life."
Take a look, relax, laugh, remember about your loved ones and this...
Why don't you guys sing?
There is such a disease. ARI. I'm really tying up.
In the field of Russian cinema, there are just an enormous number of comedies in which, to be honest, the same faces flash. These comedies, of course, differ in quality, content, but what binds them all together, first of all, is that they are comedies, as they reflect the harsh Russian reality, no matter how ridiculous it may be. Despite the fact that the film was released back in 2015 and for someone I will be oh-very late, I want to write my opinion about the film “The Best Day”.
To begin with, the movie’s rating, which I’m loyal to (I can’t even believe it!), is already 12 years old, which I found very strange. The film is not so bad and its main plus is atmosphericity and honesty. Honesty is not like Guy-Germanica, when it is broken, and honesty is some kind of personal, from which you do not want to wash the rope. What do I mean by atmosphericity? The story takes place in the provincial town of N, so every second person can remind you of your classmate or a neighbor in the stairwell. Are there many or few such Vasyutins who are already far over 35 afraid to tell their mother about the existence of the bride? Or such queens of the gas station as Olya, who, despite the presence of charm, a certain dose of brains, choose such as Pet? There are millions of them and that is the raisin of the film. He is really honest, because the problem of alcohol is inextricably linked with the inexplicable Russian gut. All this, of course, is lavishly flavored with non-trivial humor, absolutely organic songs that really made me laugh. In general, it is hard to believe that such masters of Russian cinema as Inna Churikova, Elena Yakovleva, Mikhail Boyarsky could star in an openly empty movie, I do not believe in it. For me, this is another argument in favor of the film, but if you put it “on the shelves”, then in my eyes the picture is as follows:
Pros:
1. A pleasant surprise in view of a very convincing acting Olga Seryabkina
2. The smile of actress Julia Alexandrova - she just catches the eye.
3. A remake of “Mother Lyuba” from Seryabkina, Nagiyev, Lavygin and Boyarsky.
4. Karaoke clips that cause a sincere smile.
Cons:
1. The long end.
2. Nagiyev's wig is disgusting.
3. In some places predictable plot, although it is expected.
What do we have in the dry residue? I am not sorry for the time I spent on this film. A soulful, funny movie without a hint of genius, but with a huge number of “tasty” subtleties in the dialogue.
How to shit polymers (crossed out) faith in domestic cinema.
I went to the film with cautious interest. I tried to evaluate him without any bias, which was difficult. Even though it's a film by a director who made an idiotic "bitter." And this is what happened.
Traffic police officer Vasyutin (Naghiyev) proposes to his girlfriend Ole and prepares for the wedding. But there's a turn. Vasyutin on the same day stopped the drunk singer Alina, instead of selling her a fine and taking away her rights, suddenly cheats on his girlfriend with her.
Why is the film “not ice”?
The lack of a clear plot. It would seem that there is a bundle - to reconcile with a girl. But there's no intrigue at all. The whole film the characters are drunk, behave like scum, do not try to understand their mistakes.
Cult of alcohol. The whole film, like "Bitter", is based on alcohol. Everyone drinks and it looks disgusting. And it's presented as the funniest thing you can think of. It is infuriating when all Russian viewers are perceived as an cattle that will gladly watch these stupid passages.
-Characters. You don't empathize with them. I repeat, everyone is acting like an idiot. Not even under alcohol. Vasyutin cheated on his girlfriend not by chance, but it was his conscious choice. Especially on the day he proposed to his girlfriend. You lose all respect for him. The only character who evokes empathy is Olya.
- It just happened.
- Of course I understand. It just happened. Anything can happen. An accident. You tripped and accidentally cocked my wife. “I am so sorry, Mrs Hallenbeck. It's been a bad week.
(C) x/f. The Last Boy Scout
The title of the first karaoke comedy. No, it's not a musical. This is something incomprehensible, with a disgusting plot, occasionally diluting the action with musical numbers of Russian pop. In the spirit of Indian cinema. And with the disgusting performance inherent in Russian pop music. You can only look at this cotovascia when tied to a chair.
-"All right." Goodbye! A phrase that killed all remnants of loyalty to this film. Let’s say the film could be about regaining Oli’s trust and atonement (albeit long and mundane). And he throughout the film only behaved like the last scum to at the end to forgive forgiveness like this: “Come back, I will not do this again, I swear to my mother!”
Writer and director-hands. That's all I have.
Thank you, creators and the Film Foundation, for corrupting our youth. Thank you very much.
No matter how much the fate of the Russian person depresses, building intrigues, fixing obstacles, testing him for strength, they roll water from him like a goose. The fact is that there is an upper force looking after Russia, and this is not an expressive archaic parable, but the truth - a lake filled with truth, where pride and greatness originate.
On my TV, the sound card refused to work. The absence of sound is a serious obstacle in the objective evaluation of the film, and in this case, subjective IMHO should be involved. Not knowing the names of the characters who moved their lips in silence, I had to name them by the real names of the actors, whom I treat with love and respect.
This is what the Russian spirit means, this is where the Russian soul clearly manifests itself in full. Naive, trusting, inclined to contemplation, lazy in her kindness, at times hot-tempered, sharp, but not vindictive, agreeing to forgive everything but injustice. And there is still something special in character that can not be depicted in a word, but noticeable to his own, Russian person, and such that confuses a foreigner who looks at, but is not able to find in the Russian character rational seeds that are used to pecking at home, reducing the ends of logic and order.
To become its scale, husband Mikhail B., who swore to the Motherland to serve faithfully and faithfully for a single minute without sparing himself, but eventually due to the softness of his character, forced to pretend to avert suspicions and conform to the image, a man firmly defending conservative views. Although, in truth, his views are somehow more focused on his wife.
Dmitri N. is our contemporary, a wonderful man, yearning for the ideals of the past, where noble deeds were considered a privilege, not stupid scoundrels. But not finding the old rules in the actions of others, but only finding a doubtful “premium”, settled in the middle of a word, closed himself, not knowing how to be further. He began to look around taking not the best examples of not the best representatives of the human race, and the regulator's wand and pistol, in fact props, acquired status value.
The barefoot dancer on the nerves of Olya S. – this scolopendra, using her magnificent physical data, confused Mitya N., carried and led the gullible police officer down an inclined plane with an acceleration of g = 9.81 m / s?. Free fall, such a spectacular, such a pleasant scarecrow of the traffic police inspector. He anxiously felt his body, looking for parachute straps, but instead of them, a creaking briefcase was found, and of the means of salvation, only Makarov N.’s pistol, and the choice from this situation was primitive – to shoot or crash. Closing his eyes to forget, Mitya N. plunged deeper into the pool of passion, and the black-haired beauty – this new “running on the waves”, cynically: caresses and deception, subjugated the body of Miti N. Opening his eyes, he heard a terrible whistling of the wind and the earth approaching him at the speed of sound of Half McCartney. He needed a parachute. He really wanted to be saved. He has not yet done anything to be proud of. He begged fate to spare and give the opportunity to fix everything. And the empty frivolous doll, shaking with black cosms, sparkling at goodbye with a bad look, turned pale and dissolved in the penultimate second of the fall. Dmitry N. pulled the parachute ring, heard a joyful clapping, and behind his back, holding on to his neck, as a skilled rider sat the one who had been waiting for so long, loved so much.
Julia A. The most enigmatic character of The Best Day is probably due to the lack of sound in my TV set. It is not clear what is closer to her in spirit: selfless boundless love for Mita N. or the annoyance of infringed self-love. In modern girls, these properties are twisted together so that it is more difficult to find a transition from one quality to another than to find an underground passage in Kyzylkum.
So: Julia A. is in love with Mitya N., and he is fond of another. Julia A. hates the “black square” and wishes her harm, not assuming that this is the evil itself, she decides to fight with her for the right to possess a traffic police inspector. The situation does not shine originality, if not for dances, songs, subtitles. If the TV has no sound, then the subtitles have the most important value of all the proposed types of letters. Later, Mitya N. and Julia A. joined forces to dance to express their emotions, and everything ended well.
All of them, all these characters make unthinkable pirouettes, such “things” that are not accepted in exemplary comedies, often going beyond the genre, try a new set of fun spices, do it funny, frivolously, trusting the favor of the viewer.
“The Best Day” is the best film I’ve ever seen in the seventeenth year. This film, like a summer gust of wind, returns a person from fruitless reflection to his place, where the lack of logic, habitual rules and a generous soul for fiction create fun, putting in their place privileged comedies.
If you think of the film as a comedy, then of course you can put a negative assessment. That's almost what I did when I first watched it. But then I realized that this is not the essence of the film. This is a real karaoke movie, for people who just want to relax and distract from the realities of our lives. Sing, sympathize with the characters, somewhere to chide. But overall in the film, I see my life, the best and not so much of it. Some pride, some shame. But in general, I want to throw myself into the pool with my head and take a break from all the problems, I don’t know right or wrong from the point of view of most people. Forget everything and have a better day. The next day, I became a family man and father again. If this is not the dream of many men, then I do not know what the main dream of others is. Overall, I liked it. The plot does not shine with novelty, originality and execution, but that is not the point. If anyone tells me another film for the soul or just a good Russian film of recent years, I would appreciate it. This movie reminds me of Stylag. I didn’t like it the first time, but I liked it. As for the actors and the game, there are no complaints. It's pretty good. If you don’t like it, look at other Russian films and compare them, just not biased. And you'll see that there's not much better. Recently, it is not films that paint actors, but actors that paint films with a stretch and if they are capable of it. Unfortunately, many are not able, especially the young. But it's a small digression. After watching the film, you want to go karaoke and sing your favorite songs, despite the lack of voice. And recharge the positivity. If you agree, join us.
Gentlemen, I don’t understand why the rating is so low. I love movies very much, I often watch novelties, films and TV series of various genres and different countries, I try to watch foreign films without translation. It is one of the few films that can be revisited. I’ve watched it three times before, and in the future I’ll definitely watch it. First, a well-told story. Second, you empathize with heroes, good people. Thirdly, no matter what anyone says, it reveals the Russian character, especially the hinterlands. That's what we are, with all the pros and cons. And it's good! And the songs are well integrated, and the video sequence for the songs turned out perfectly. The actors play well, the intonations are honest. Already other commentators wrote, this is not quite a comedy, maybe even a tragedy of the Russian people, makes you think about a lot.
To be honest, it is probably better to watch under alcohol after a little drink. Starting with the first song “only mom I fell in love, don’t scold me, don’t, I’ll soon be a mom!”, when a simple girl is happy that she was proposed, look how she perceives the world! The second song, when the super-sexy heroine is shown with a change in the style of music "green-eyed taxi", God, all the songs are in the theme, and how the heroine suddenly begins to sing "Once a year the gardens bloom" and "I will survive" and how this scene is filmed, in one frame!
How many little jokes and details! How they eat borscht in a roadside cafe, that's what it looks like! I don't know, I think it's very atmospheric and fair. I am 40 years old, I live in Moscow from the age of 16, but I still remember singing songs in the village.
I won’t say that this is a super masterpiece, but for our movie very, very good. Why do we re-shoot foreign TV series or copy the West, write scripts and shoot yourself, it can turn out well. In general, it turned out to be a light, bright, kind and optimistic film, not perfect, but allowing you to beat in places, and in places and think. So I'm very picky about cinema, and a lot of both our and foreign films are just terrible. My principle is never to watch trailers or read reviews before watching a movie. Sometimes you just have to get up and leave in the middle of a session, which has happened three times in the past year. But sometimes you accidentally hit masterpieces or, in this case, mini-masterpieces.
If you give such a nomination, I probably haven't seen anything more lame.
But this is not a film in essence, but the delusions of the director and his team of aspiring alcoholics and drug addicts.
Long postponed promotion and hopes did not justify this situation.
Music from 'Afony' Why'? People have forgotten how to write songs, some karaoke of old themes.
Boyarsky and Churikova who have probably forgotten how to play normally and just work part-time in retirement?
It's not a comedy. They don’t know that alcohol is not funny.
A film about a tractor driver Salotorkin rather than a traffic policeman would look more decent. And why didn't he have PIDR on his back? Even Putin approves.
I was bored, I didn't sleep, I had to kill time. I decided to watch the best day. Initially, I knew that the film is nothing, but was very surprised by the laudatory reviews on various sites. I decided to take a look.
What exactly is going on in the movie? And there is some forty-degree thrash in the film. Seriously, “Caution, Modern”, with all its vulgar jokes, vodka and thrash looked much more aesthetic, and Nagiyev, unlike the Best Day, did not overplay.
This film presents itself as a comedy. But comedy doesn't really exist. I never smiled for the movie. I used to beat myself on my forehead.
The problem isn't even with the actors - some play well (for a children's matinee, yeah). The problem is the script, or rather its absence. It feels like he was peeing on his knee 5 minutes before he started filming. There is no logic, the main character behaves like a vile person, and alcohol does not justify him at all. It turned out not a comedy, but some fierce thrash with vodka in the lead role. There is no joke in the film, Nagiyev is just crooked. About Seryabkin even do not want to say anything, it is better to be silent.
Songs. Here's another interesting point. The film is supposedly a karaoke comedy (it’s like!?), but the real karaoke was powered in three places. Just a terrible performance of songs again by Nagiyev and Alexandrova. I don't understand, do we have singers in the country? Could it have been voiced by someone else? But no, let's listen to a hundred layers of autotune with subtitles.
In general, you can write for a long time, but meaningless. My verdict: terribly not a funny picture, not a comedy, not karaoke, but just some kind of alcoholic with curves instead of acting. I don't recommend it. You have to sign.
I’m a big fan of thinking movies, movies with meaning, psychological drama or easy in nature, but very witty. I love biographical films, watch the stories of people who live such an interesting and ambiguous, different life that people of the world cinematic art expressed a desire to make films about them. And these are not necessarily well-known people, but ordinary people, who were allowed by fate and were able to bring their story to the world. So it’s very, very, very strange that this movie, The Best Day, got me hooked and liked me so much. Very superficial, rude, sometimes stupid and absurd comedy, but there is something in it that made me watch it not once. It has worked on me as an antidepressant in our daily lives. It looks very easy and does not lead to self-knowledge. A very human, everyday, life story about two people in love who are blocked by a bloody beauty, cynical, beautiful, somewhere funny and so cute, despite all her sarcasm. The future mother-in-law, wildly jealous of her son for everything that moves in a short skirt is shown straight to the point. The friend of the main character is a drinking companion and all our worldly experiences and problems are issued in the format of karaoke, sometimes with light jokes.
As for the actors, I really liked the image of Olga Seryabkina, in the role of Alina. Sometimes I thought about who else could play such an asshole, and I did not find a more interesting candidate. Dmitry Nagiyev in this film was not in a new role, this manner of playing he still stretches with "Caution, modern!", well, let him play like this, for this film is the same. Inna Churikova is a great actress, her presence in this film added a bit of authority, for me this is for sure, and Julia Alexandrova sings very well, and the monologue at the end of the film even broke me a little to tears.
Overall, watching the movie just relaxed me. Another movie like this, my nervous system can't stand it, and I like this one. Yes, he did not claim any high places in cinema. So, the actors gathered in the circle and had a great time, in summer, in beautiful places.
Do not take this film seriously, let alone evaluate it in the proposed scale on a ten-point system with real films. It's a relaxation movie. I gave him a very low rating at first, and then I took it down, I can’t evaluate it, I think it’s out of competition for me among other films.
From the “best day” remained mixed feelings. Let me start with the good ones.
A large number of negative reviews, a rating of 4 points on the search, and my fear of modern Russian films set me on a very negative attitude to the picture. However, the movie started well, funny. The plot is interesting, and the characters are lively and not boring people. In comedy, an important role is played by the humorous part, which in “Best Day” the creators coped well. The humor here is clearly satirical, it parodies modern life, drunkenness, partying and people.
But watching The Best Day didn’t leave me the impression that I’d seen it somewhere before. These mamley men, beautiful girls with plans for the future, who stay with mums that cheat on them right and left. These drunks, brawlers, boorish attitude towards others. “Bitter!”, “Groom”, “The best day”, – you will agree, they were shot as if from one script? Perhaps the director of “Best Day” wanted to raise the topic of alcoholism in Russia, but for some reason every director of modern comedies considers it necessary to “raise this topic”. What is it? Worrying about the country or a stupid desire to come up with a template plot with improvised funds and cut down money on it?
Even worse, you can’t look at the characters with respect. Well, except for the main character, who loses the respect of the audience at the end. The characters of "Day" are not a parody, as many say, but humorous characters that should make the viewer laugh. But after an hour of watching their drinks are not fun at all.
The movie gets karaoke songs out. Still, if you discard the instructive part of the plot (something is not), the film can be safely watched in the noisy company of friends with songs, dances and on the New Year. Watch one, maybe a second, laugh and forget.
The most ruthless, stupid, cruel and disgusting... director that shot it.
Russian cinema never ceases to amaze by the lack of limits of its insanity. Reading reviews, people refer to "as in life, soulful, easy," etc. What is wrong with you, humanity?
I despise everyone who had a hand in making this f***. Is it really nice to see how the main stupid heroine of the whole film is cruelly insulted, mocked by feelings, betrayed by her, and as an excuse for everything - drunkenness, before which the weak-willed main character (Nagiyev) cannot resist, as well as before the first woman who lowers him and then drinks him!? Is it really fun that “as in life” is arranged by a company of drunken ghouls of debauchery, in which they bring ruin to public places, behave worse than savages, try to press people on the beach with shouts characteristic of the most desolate alcoholics?! Is it possible to insert Boyarsky into this company, who shouts in his characteristic manner - "Shshshshshshshshshchenok" - this is fun?! Such disgusting negativity is enough in life, only when in the store, for example, a drunk offends you or a seller, destroys something, starts a fight, etc. You probably are not very happy. What is the meaning of this film?
By the end of the film, no one had made the right conclusions, no character had changed. Nothing, in my opinion, good or instructive, and most importantly fun (the film is positioned as a comedy w) there.
The main character. Behaving like eternal drunkenness, irresponsible, cruel, falling for the first meeting, in addition to hum!? It's okay, they'll understand.
Heroin. They wipe their feet about you, cheat on you, throw loud words, but in fact they will also expose you extremely, how will all the lies of the groom be revealed?! So sorry.
As a result, I will say that in some scenes (for example, as Petit’s friend, instead of finding him at Oli’s request, simply drinks her money and gets drunk), I just became physically uncomfortable, and emotionally so at all.
There is nothing in the film that is less tolerable. Rassynchronous sound? Telephone footage? Constantly drunk "Buee"? That's enough. I am very sorry that Nagiyev, as an actor, fell below the floor.
I’m probably too late for this review, so... Unlike most people, I’ve already seen this 15th movie. And you know what I'll tell you?
Professional jokers in life are always sullen people. Their jokes allow you to laugh, but very rarely lift the mood in the big sense of the word, when you spend all day with this mood. Best day ever. There were some funny people working on this movie. Fun, simple, unfazed by cliches and recipes for successful comedies. They just took a prank. I can see the writers bending in half, inventing scenes and vying to complete them with a mouthful of laughter. And we sang and danced to them with the best of spirits!
Let me tell you about the naturalness of this film. “They think I’m a fool and I’m just a funny person!” I'm a funny man! Very harmonious, directly look the actors in the frame. Nagiyev is almost the leader of the Russian screen, Churikov and Boyarsky – I do not even talk about them. The young ones did great, too. They even drink vodka so that it becomes sweet on their tongue! But with the greatest pleasure I will mention Olya Seryabkin. God be with him, with her most successful, I think, debut as an actress. Brothers, I never even thought that Olga is such a gorgeous woman! Impossible! I wouldn’t be married, as they say. Eh...
Let someone say that I have no taste, that I have no sense of humor (I know that I have all this), but I will put this film on a par with “Prisoner of the Caucasus”. Enjoy your visit.
The Best Day was marketed as a comedy musical film. Unfortunately, I can’t appreciate either the first or the second component. And who can? Seriously, who should really like it? Except for the one who is in a drunken frenzy, the state in which the characters of the film are constantly staying.
Music
There is no original musical component in the film. Okay, it's not a musical, and you can't call it a musical. What should we be happy about such a film? Fresh performance of everyone's favorite hits? That's not there either.
All the "new" music here is bad rehashing of famous songs. "Live" (non-studio) manner of performance does not add zest or sincerity. Clumsily and poorly sung songs and remain just poorly sung songs, which sometimes want to wrinkle. All this is interspersed with well-known compositions sounding behind the scenes, sometimes awkwardly superimposed on the video.
Comedy
Inadequate, stupid behavior (even for drunk!) people under the degree, provoking fights and scandals – that’s what the whole “comedy component” rests on. How sad that is. You can make it smarter, funnier, more human.
It seems that humor is synonymous with drunken brawl. And there is no satire or irony to ridicule human drunkenness. All openness and directness of action is only vulgarity and can cause only disgust.
Installation
It's horrible! The film uses the so-called jump cut - a montage technique, which is a jump-like gluing of scenes (when, for example, 3 seconds are deliberately cut out of a scene lasting 5 seconds and everything is glued together). If used correctly, this technique would really be suitable here. However, in this film it is used absolutely without measure, absolutely without measure! Instead of emphasizing in places comic or absurdity, such a montage tears up and clumps the narrative - it becomes simply uncomfortable to look! The film does not look like a professional work, but as something arranged on the knee.
Actor's game
The mass was pretty good. However, nothing outstanding was needed here. Claims to the work of Dmitry Nagiyev, who plays the main character, and to Yulia Alexandrova, who plays his bride. "Work" or "play" what the actors in the film showed us, to be honest, the language does not turn. There is not a drop of truth, everything is “plastic” and flat.
Nagiyev is in the film a kind of mannered simpleton, whom you look at and think: “God, it’s not a contest of parodies, not a “big difference” but some!” Rather than play, Nagiyeva only repels and makes you frown with displeasure.
In the heroine of Alexandrova do not believe - too wooden. In Bitter, the nervous bride with a constantly tense facial expression looked adequate. But here throughout the film all the same intense bitchiness! Whether the heroine is happy, sad or angry - all the same. How can you believe that?! I just don't understand.
Something good?
The things I liked about the movie were a couple of music videos. It looks really interesting. You can even say that there is something that turned out quite well - this is a scene where the main character performs "I will survive." The scene is shot with one plan and looks quite dynamic and, I would say, fresh (yes, almost all of it was shown in the trailer for the film).
But! All this looks good only as long as it remains separate rollers. Being immersed in the context of something pretending to be more, in the context of the present film, it causes only some irritation.
In general
It went, sometimes to unbearable; rude and deliberate, but insincere; raw. After watching the film, there is some unpleasant feeling, a sense of deception, if you dare to expect something good from the film.
Good modern . . . comedy is not called language. Tragicomedy, perhaps.
The image of the main character (Alexandrov) seems to be drawn by colored markers on a gray charcoal sketch, she is clearly too positive a character for everything around. Her acting is good in places, but more somehow makes her grin crooked.
The heroine Seryabkova is a wonderful and quite real image. Tired, growing thick shell, rude, cynical consumer.
Nagiyev, of course, a little overdoses, and no problem, it turns out quite such a caricature of our provincial policeman.
Equally disgusting and the cop with all his pack, and the woman on the jeep with his ponts. And the mother of the cop, who at the end of the film did repent, but could not do anything to herself, and the father of the cop – a weak-willed voice of reason – Boyarsky.
I don't like musicals. You might call it a musical.
But here, in my opinion, the right images have gathered so much that even the abundance of stupid songs does not spoil, but on the contrary, complements the general picture of the moronism (scientific term) that now reigns in our country – in society, on the stage, in tastes, in many ways. Really sick, gentlemen. That's right.
Every painting by Zhora Kryzhovnikov, if you consider it literally, is a failure. But if you draw the right parallels, then a good satire and a slice of your time. In our modern society, there is too much that is deliberately engraved in the film to not see the ironic social undertones.
I will go, perhaps, re-read Ostrovsky, based on whose story and the film is staged.

Still, I can not normally perceive the alcoholic opuses of Zhora Kryzhovnikov: neither “Bitter”, nor this one. The general idea is obviously the same, and not bad. But here's the form of submission ... I'm a little hard to stand.
Talking about the artistic merits of "The Best Day" is difficult because it's hard to find them. The message in the picture is connected with the destructive power of alcohol and some regret that in Russia this is something like this. Everything seems to be fine, but it takes a little drink, and everything turns upside down and becomes bad. As soon as a person drinks, immediately begin karaoke songs with “bad” voices, confessions of love or vice versa, trips where possible and where impossible and other joys of life. A person cannot control himself under the influence of a green snake. That’s what you see in “The Best Day.”
The plot in the picture is not very original. Alcohol, people who fall for it and its consequences. There are typical characters like a pop singer, a traffic cop, an alcoholic, a saleswoman... People with typical professions and typical characters who are changed by alcohol. The effect of alcohol is shown here in all its unsightlyness: the strict adorning form of the hero turns almost into rags on it, the characters naturally barely stay on their feet, hairstyles are disheveled, faces are dented. Of course, the heroes are ready to spend any penny on alcohol. And under alcohol and sound karaoke songs Leps, Boyarsky and many others. However, in addition to the numbers sung by drunken voices, there are more or less decent exits, like I will survive performed by the heroine Oli, but there are still woefully few.
The main line concerns the relationship of the hero Dmitry Nagiyev Peter, Oli and singer Alina, as well as the persons around them. Here you have all the possible stamps on the screen: beautiful perfect Olya, who is hurting, weak motherly overgrown son Peter, Moscow bitch Alina, greedy mother Petra and their typical behavior. There are all tears of women, and drunken tears of men, and regrets and disappointments. There is even a ridiculous ritual of matchmaking, a scene that is repetitive, but equally perplexing (although this is what it should cause).
The film uses a pseudo-real shooting technique: a shaking camera, some television, not movie colors, first-person shooting, and quite long and tedious. This greatly affects perception, causing the viewer to observe and be horrified rather than watching and laughing. For comedy, everything is shown too unsightly and not funny.
Overall, the film is not very talented. They're all about the same thing. Good actors play nothing but drunkenness. The authors seem to enjoy this process of a slight moral fall of these characters, and they are almost not interested in the consequences of the fall, the emotions of the characters about what is happening. Heroes fall to the bottom, lose a lot, but rethinking is all behind the scenes. Falling heroes are not funny, but disgusting, terribly disgusting. If someone in the heroes recognizes himself, it is also bitter. There are no jokes, neither good nor evil. There's a bit of caustic sarcasm, but not humor. Calling it a comedy doesn't turn the tongue. Bitter reasoning is possible, but somewhere the authors did not reach a decent level. They were confused about what they wanted to shoot. If comedy, then it is necessary to give cinematography and laughter to the adventures of the heroes, spontaneity. And if the art house, then it was worth adding consequences and at least some emotions to the heroes. You can talk about the ending, of course, as a denouement of history. But it looks artificially glued to this story for New Year's purposes, alas.
The alluring title of the picture “The Best Day” is essentially ironic: here it is, with alcohol, without brakes and having terrible consequences. Do you need one?
Very much on the amateur picture, very kind of "black", unpleasant that you want even to wash your hands after watching. Pity the good actors who starred in this, because they had nothing to play except drunkenness. There is also a feeling of terrible cheapness, as if taken for a ruble, and to attract attention - karaoke, the name of the famous song in the title, and other musical famous numbers in addition. A musical film, let alone a musical, can not be called. Singing a song and a half in drunken voices doesn’t make you a musical movie! It's not that easy.
I watched this movie show. No matter how stupid and worthless the movements of the characters during the main part of the film, the ending is worthy ' Taxi Driver' and ' Girls with Matches' justifies everything.
Abandoned by all the cheerful drunkard, the main character is completely unable to resist their own provoked troubles, and the drunk freezes lying on a powdered street. The camera at the same time moves up - a completely unexpected manifestation of cinematic symbolism for the film, which is elementary in the quality of editing give a head start to the early tapes of Mélièse: after all, it is in this way that the viewer is traditionally shown the departure of the soul to the other world. In the dying drunken brain of the character, a soothing enchanting delusion is formed: all those whom the hero has turned away from himself by irresponsibility and brutal behavior, as well as the characteristic ' best friend', textbookly identifying the well-known proverb, unexpectedly take his side, and even the girl abandoned by him, contrary to logic, forgives the main character, which the rest of the soul clearly demonstrates to us. We are finally assured of this by the same angle from above on a snow-covered platform, albeit filled with cheerful phantoms and the final phrase of the goremyks, whose entire previous fate was somehow connected with the adoption of alcohol: ' I will never drink again'.
This is the same notorious censored Gaidaev nuclear bomb at the end of the Diamond Arm & #39, instantly sobering the viewer from a fun comedy with a return to real life! 'Fate will reward'.

However, the curvatures that preceded the end were rather nauseating.
To be honest, I was advised to watch this film, because I am not a fan of Russian modern cinema, I pulled as much as I could, but my friends were persistent. They assured me that I would literally get away from this comedy. When I saw this picture, I never smiled. And if this is a comedy, then the Terminator is a horror movie.
I didn’t expect the film to be so unprofessional and boring. The plot is sucked out of the finger, and Nagiyev, such a handsome, I am not afraid of this word, was made such a freak that when you look at him throughout the film, you puke. Of all the good things about the film, I would say, they were actors. Boyarsky, Churikova, Yakovleva, Nagiyev, Lavygin - brilliantly played, no words. Another thing is the movie itself. Although the plot is traced, but it was shot so stupidly that I watched until the end only to find out how all this mess would end. I know that in this style, films have already been made. For example, “Grave Seekers”, but it was clear and understandable why the shooting is in this mode, but why the whole movie “The Best Day” was shot like this, I never understood. Maybe the cameraman decided that this would be a highlight for the film? Bad. It ruined everything, it greased everything. Humor is banal, no one laughs at what was shown in this film. It’s just a terrible thing that Russia can do this, considering that it has been proven for a long time that Russia is not the most drinking country in the world. How much was said about it and filmed various broadcasts? But this does not apply to Russian cinema. I am not going to judge Zhora Kryzhovnikov, but one must think that you are filming about your people. People who like this humor may not understand it. The film was shot in a hurry, not for himself or for the viewer, but to shake up the stagnant cinema. And it turned out badly.
The pluses, without a doubt, include the musical track, the appearance of one of the soloists of “Silver”, which played surprisingly well, but I will repeat again, the actors were selected perfectly and they played magnificently. There is a storyline, the script is also good and the idea is new, unbroken, curious. I didn’t like the ending, but this movie and even characters like Petya Vasyutin are worthy of love.
Overall, the movie is terrible, and if you didn’t watch it, you didn’t lose anything.
I still don’t understand the outrage at the film. Magnificent, easy comedy for the viewer of any nationality. All the “raisins and peppers” of the Russian soul in a worthy frame. And ridicule and praise, so to speak. Here you and rural life, and urban majorism, and video "on YouTube", and simple, Russian Petka.
Cool shooting, ala "from the first person", a pleasant picture and transition frames. It's a fun montage. There is no nasty "vertigo" effect when the camera rushes from frame to frame. Everything is gentle and unobtrusive.
For music would add another ten. Leps - like a separate cherry on the cake, and the rest - just a nice ear notes. Although, one episode of a fully sung foreign song - brought out of the atmosphere, but the picture again softened everything.
The characters are pleasantly distributed in the plot, all open as they are “busy”. Nagiyev enposes more in something more extreme, and not in the alcoholic Petka, but the image was successful. Aleksandrova well revealed her lover simpleton and jealous possessor. Here with Seryabkina not everything is clear: either she so specifically got used to the role, or the situation is so in fact. Terribly grim character. “Second plan” also pleased: Mazunin and Lavygin — one field of berry from the “Real kid”, and Churikov and Boyarsky God himself sent to good music, and Russian plot.
Anyway, the picture is nice. Tonight, friends, popcorn will be easy. It is a shame that from domestic comedies expect Hollywood chic and fanfare, and not a simple "pleasant to the eye and soul." Millions of one-story comedies, with a single development, Persians and plots, are stamped, but in Russia they are perceived as the genius of modern humor, while Russian cinema is appreciated by the same fans from the height of Oscar critics. Sad, gentlemen.
I heard once that the new film by Zhora Kryzhovnikov is “Cinderella” for men. “Cinderella” in the film was not found, but almost immediately there was a feeling that “The Best Day” is an attempt to repeat the beautiful Soviet tape “Love and Pigeons”. And only then, after watching the film accidentally came across an interview with the director, who confirmed: yes, they say, were inspired by this film.
Did it work? No, of course not. The canvas is about the same - the provincial guy "leads" to the capital's thing, but ultimately chooses still "equal" to himself. But, roughly repeating the plot, the filmmakers did not achieve any similarity with the Soviet classics. Love and Pigeons is a wonderful, heartfelt story that love and intimacy have nothing to do with external gloss. “The best day” is more a story about the reserve airfield: it didn’t work out with a rich bride – let’s go back to the one that is simpler.
What is most strange, this script is quite suitable for the modern version of the film “Love and Pigeons”. It would be enough to slightly change the ending - and the output would be a story about how love preferred fashion and wealth. But first of all, it hasn't been changed. Secondly, everything else that could have been good in this movie was ruined by the actors. The characters are terrible, almost without exception. It is not that to empathize - it is unpleasant to look at them.
The palm of the championship in disgust is confidently held by Dmitry Nagiyev. It is not even possible to say that he played badly - it is generally a talent that is needed so that the hero during some positive actions (for example, an offer to marry) remained unpleasant. Peter performed by Nagiyev is a lazy traffic cop-alcoholic, weak-willed, cowardly and thinking only about himself. Ensign Zadov - and he was a much more charming character. All of Peter's entourage fit him - that father, that mother, that best friend. Unpleasant, angry alcoholics, ready to humiliate, fight and scandal.
The only “ray of light in the dark kingdom” in the film was the bride of Peter Olya performed by Julia Alexandrova. Sweet, beautiful, bright and sincere girl. But to praise Alexandrov also does not work – the character came out some very primitive. So Julia can only be thanked for diluting this swamp.
Separately, I want to note the operator’s work. Why this shaking camera is not clear at all. In “Gorko” it was justified by the plot, but here these inserts of video from a mobile phone are not clear at all. I want to say the same about the invented genre of karaoke comedy - it's stupid. Did people really sing in theaters?
The result is disappointing. "The Best Day" is an absolutely failed attempt to repeat a really good movie, talentless in almost everything from acting to cinematography. And the fact that such films collect millions in Russia is only sad.
I’m not going to watch the movie since I saw the first trailer. Russian. Comedy. Surely again vulgarity, sometimes debauchery, drunkenness... But somewhere from someone I caught a restrained, but positive review of this film. It got interesting. What can I say about the film?
He's not that interesting. Yes, there is a plot, there is an interesting plot and not boring characters. But the conflict of history itself, its votives, the drama composition are not worked out accurately. But it's not critical. And the cast! That's the most valuable thing in the movie. In general, if I immediately knew that the film was directed by Zhor Gooseberry (the creator of Bitter), I would not be so categorical. After all, he knows how to remove something good (not without minuses, of course), and he has everything ahead.
The atmosphere of the film is a plus. Summer, roads, cafes and gas stations - everything is so familiar, and it's nice to see it.
Music is a special praise for that. The green-eyed taxi, performed, probably, by the soloist from the “Silver” very much liked, although I do not listen to this group at all. Well, other Russian songs came in handy, very, very decorated the scene.
Well, the best part is the cast. Dmitri Nagiyev is not known here. Yes, of course, it's him - but how he played here. Soft, romantic, mama's boy. The last time I saw him like that was in "Badow." Definitely a big actor (but sometimes not involved in serious projects).
Michael Boyarsky was very pleased to see him. How he outwardly suited his hero - a burnt womanizer, who loves to drink with a mood, with a feeling.
Inna Churikova is an actress from God. She smells of talent, soul, understanding of her heroine. The only thing was a couple of scenes when it wasn’t very easy to watch her play, after all, the age is already. But she's good at still playing, devoted to the profession to the end.
Not inferior to the two previous mastodons of art and the inimitable Nagiyev and Elena Yakovlev. I love her in all the movies, this actress, if not great, will become her. She will not spoil any film, plays the same from the heart, from the heart, without hacking. Her character turned out to be very colorful - lonely, weak, but able to hold the punch, deeds and remain beautiful always. A real woman.
The heroine-erotizm, Olga Seryabkina, did not expect anything from her except a naked body. But it struck me. First of all, she looked very free in the shot, she said how she breathed, the speech was simply excellent. And these her drunken body movements, when not to femininity at all, although her heroine in erotic underwear is bravo!
Second Seryabkina main character - the director's wife - Julia Alexandrov. There was so much coming out of her mouth that I didn’t understand. Definitely need to undermine the speech, and get rid of the manner of speaking under the nose with a strained smile. But she is very beautiful, natural and does not bend her fingers, but honestly works out every frame. Deserving of praise.
It is a pity that there was so little Valentina Mazunina. A simple friend/relative of the heroine is her lot. And the actress is not a khukhry-muhry, and her appearance is very bright. I just enjoyed the scenes with her, the gift that they were all the same when she was talking about something and screwing the guy.
Sergey Lavygin found his role. There's no comment, serving his heroes with savor. I would also like to see more Tsapnik and the unparalleled in such comedies Julia Sules.
That's all. However, not all of our films (particularly comedies) imitate the West. And there is no need to imitate it – we are not the West and look at it through the prism of our Russian life is not at all desirable, and if you see it inadvertently – it pulls. It is better to shoot about your own, about the understandable, about the usual, but do not overstep the stick.
For the songs, for the dancing, for the sincerity, thank you.
I thought I wouldn’t live to see the domestic directors start shooting at least something digestible. But no, thanks to Jora Kryzhovnikov - finally there is a man whose films you watch without feeling the desire to throw something into the monitor.
"The Best Day" may not be a masterpiece, but it has one virtue that, for me, playfully outweighs all the drawbacks: realism. The story unfolding before us looks quite natural, especially if you go from the capital to one of our county cities and look around more closely. Could it not happen that a pop star who came to his native province, jokes for the sake of a local police officer? It's easy. In life, it can't be like that. Are there not women like Oli's mother or her future mother-in-law? Does the relationship between Valentine and Angela look unconvincing? This is a film about a piece of ordinary Russian life, which shows real, living characters that many of us are familiar with since childhood, and therefore during watching you will not be bored.
Perfectly built into the narrative musical numbers. They always start suddenly and immediately capture and carry away. I will survive, I've revised it several times: every movement is verified here, and every person is in his place. What is especially valuable is that the editing glues in this plot are completely invisible (and if they are not at all, then the director deserves a separate barrage of applause). Other numbers, however, are also no worse, and the same dance of tankers looks very bright and funny.
Speaking of actors, oddly enough, I didn’t like Nagiyev very much here. No, he's certainly charismatic and posh, as always, but I thought he was a little overplayed. In contrast to him, Olga Seryabkina, although not a professional actress, looks absolutely realistic, and her choice for this role is an unequivocal fault. The same can be said about Julia Alexandrova - not only that she is impossible beautiful, she plays skillfully and competently, but her smile is just stunning! Ideally got used to the role of their characters and Sergey Lavygin, and Valentina Mazunina (here is whose image it is impossible not to highlight). As for the actors of the older generation, it is somewhat awkward to praise them, except for the thousandth time to marvel at their talent.
It was a good, very good movie. Not a liquid apple, but close to that.
Yes, I am not the first, and I think I will not be the last, who will write a negative review of this film.
I can’t say I didn’t like this movie very much. No, there was something that made me happy and laugh.
But I didn't like the presentation of the film. What Jora Kryzhovnikov tried to show me as a spectator and convey. Some drunken village that drinks and sings songs.
Yes, we already know that everything is not so smooth in Russia, and alcohol and brawl flourish in local suburbs, let alone in cities. But why do you want to show that? Well, they did, but why make the finale so happy and sparkling? So you're drinking, cheating, curales, and then all of a sudden everything turns upside down, and happy and? Well, this only happens in a fairy tale, let's be honest.
The plot about DPSnik Petya Vasyutin, who is long overdue to start a family, and he lives with his mother, the owner of a roadside cafe. And the bride is - the queen of the gas station, the cashier Olya. On the very day Petya decides to propose to Ole, drunk pop star Alina Whispers crashes into his office car. To avoid punishment, Alina decides to seduce Petya.
It's an unconventional plot, isn't it? But if you think about it, do you know any such true story from the outback? I don't! Which one is Nagiyev's DPSnik? Which one is an alcoholic? What is he even doing in the village? God -- I can't believe it. I looked at Nagiyev and did not believe him, it seems that he has starred in many places, but this role does not suit him at all. Not funny, bad and sad, for the fact that the director chose Nagiyev simply because he is Nagiyev, a sought-after actor of the Russian Federation. Why would you make fun of us? Over the audience? Couldn't you have called someone simpler?
And Mikhail Boyarsky? And Inna Churikova? How could they be in such a second-rate movie?? After all their roles, ...
Can you imagine Boyarsky sitting in a car in a drunken frenzy, with a half-naked aunt, singing "Our crib did chic-chic"???? I couldn’t wait until I saw the movie.
Three heroes were pleased: Sergey Lavygin, whom we all know for the role of the cook from the TV series “Kitchen”, Yulia Alexandrova (the role of the bride from “Bitter”) and Valentin Mazunin (direct Valyukha from “Real Boys”), they all adhered to their roles, and did not get out of their pants much. In their role, I believed, and even sincerely laughed at the moments with them.
When we watch movies, we have been taught from childhood that good always conquers evil. These words are for centuries, and fit absolutely all films (well, except for horror, and horror films). And it turns out the same way, no matter how much you drink, no matter how much you brawl, no matter how much you cheat, still your beloved will forgive you, and everything will end well, because we know that good conquers evil!
That’s not my conclusion, it’s the director and writer! Oh, that's great! There will be no more such films coming out. We all remember “Bitter” and “Bitter 2”, the plot did not go far.
Pluses still there are beautiful songs, the effect of “karaoke”, as stated initially. Great dance at the end, with all the actors. And such a unity of souls that only we, the Russian people, will understand. After all, no matter how you turn, nowhere like to drink, sing and dance, as in Russia.
Watch the movie about it, and you may draw other conclusions.
In general, this comedy is easy, so easy that start watching from any moment and everything will be clear. It's funny in places.
And as promised, my assessment will be negative.

It is quite difficult to evaluate a film that you start watching with a huge baggage of negative reviews and reviews about it. Plus, it will begin to form a stereotype about the twisted reviews, so you just do not believe in the positive.
What's the movie about? I’m not afraid for a word, the film reminded a kind of Russian version of “Requiem for a dream”. Each hero has his own aspirations, and instead of drugs - vodka. Like without vodka, the comedy is about us, about Rashka. This vodka is the main antagonist in the film and the destroyer of all the dreams of our heroes. All the heroes, but not the main one, in the person of Nagiyev. Why? Yes, because no character from Nagiyev came out, Aba as the prescribed characters of the environment are much brighter than he is. And the mistake here, I think, is more in the choice of the actor, because his performance leaves much to be desired. Yes, he has an interesting facial expressions, and he is so semi-charismatic in himself, but he uses this facial expression already wrongly.
The plot of the Russian “Requiem” goes only to the middle, just to the best and highest, in terms of camera work, scene “one shot”. And up to this point, the film itself goes well and plot, and editing, if you do not take into account, of course, the scenes of “live shooting”, they are terrible. But after all, I repeat, to as written dreams and aspirations are forgotten, and the heroes simply agree with the next promises of eternal drunkards.
On the other hand, this film is the work of director Zhora Kryzhovnikov, known to us from the films “Bitter!” and “Bitter! 2”. In connection with these, one thing can be said - the director seems to have embarked on the path of correction, because this film is an order of magnitude higher than the ones he had previously fed up in all respects.

I will say right away: the films “Bitter!” and “Bitter!” I haven’t seen 2, so I won’t make an analogy. But since I managed (I will not say how, or they will laugh) to see this creation of Russian cinema, I will have to write a review to somehow justify the stupid time spent. It seems that I will soon have such a category of reviews – “justify the time spent”. Why? It's an idea.
Okay, get to the point. The main character, Petya Vasyutin (Dmitry Nagiyev) appears before us at the beginning of the film drunk. At a stop at night, he begins to molest the girl Ole, throw snowballs at her and sing to the phonogram, and then also offers her a hand and a liver. I'd hit one, and this one's nothing. He passed out and fell into a snowdrift, and she rushed to pick him up! Yeah, I don't understand these main characters. In the next frame, this is a couple without five minutes. Oh, that awfully fast change of frame cut my eye! Petya proposes to Ole. She, all so happy, goes to work, and he goes to his mother to tell her about the upcoming celebration. But since Petya is a weak-willed mummy, he said nothing to his mother, and also went to perform his official duties. And here... In the traffic police car, in which Vasyutin sleeps, a drunken singer Alina Whispers crashes. She humiliates him in every way, and he, for no reason, takes her to her own house. There, she begins to complain about her difficult fate, drinks, well, and grabs him, or he is "ass, how boring." Drunk, on Olya, who is waiting for him, Pete does not care. I will not describe the plot further, so as not to spoil.
Oh, everybody! Let me be brief. Everyone, all heroes, behave like the last creatures and drunks. And people are pressed, and driving without holding on to the wheel, and the car is drowned in the river, and it does not sink, but on the contrary, floats like a pontoon. Dmitri Nagiyev - why does he insist on sticking his hair? He plays a little weakly, but still better than his friend Valya (I won’t even scroll up to find out the actor’s name). Olga Seryabkina - yes, this is a real pro. I haven't seen a female character in a long time that makes me so sick. Or she's just playing herself. Ray of Light in the Dark Kingdom by Julia Alexandrova. The only person you can look at without disgust. Smiley, nice. Boyarsky, Churikova, Yakovleva. How? How did you, comrades, come to this life?
Songs? I wish they hadn't. They either sing so falsely that even my ear, crushed by a bear, hears it, either under a phonogram, or something like “our crib was doing chic-chic.”
Jokes? The only thing I remember is:
- Citizen!
- Fi, so rude...
- Citizen!
Apparently, everything else was so dull and flat that my brain even got tired of resenting it.
Anyway, the worst bottom. It's the bottom. There's nowhere else to go. I'm going to cry.
