I can say with confidence, the sequel ' Guardians of the Galaxy' I was absolutely amazed and pleased. It’s hard to believe that James Gunn and his collaborators have created one of the most compelling films in the universe, and #39. The movie looks great. The use of color and design, and in general the whole component of visualization, is amazing and looks amazingly juicy. The film is a kind of superhero sci-fi comedy with a simple plot, but nevertheless a small intrigue, which is unusual 'MARVEL'. The film focuses on the development of the characters and their relationship with each other. James Gunn manages to balance all the characters, managing to prescribe each of them and thereby holding the emotional wave. In terms of humor, the second part is much stronger than the first, there is just no comment. The songs, to me, are more poetic and fit the subtext of the film. Especially worth highlighting the soundtrack performed by Fleetwood Mac, it is space squared simple. The continuation definitely succeeded, and in my opinion it turned out even better than the first part.

Guardians of the Galaxy 2 is the plot continuation of the 1st part of 2015. This film, like all others from Marvel Studios, is a solid, already boring action, with a banal and obvious plot and undisclosed characters (for 2 films). The film is filled with a lot of jokes, some of which were really fun. There is a lot of music in the film, as in Part 1, but I didn’t have the slightest desire to add this music to my playlist, as it was with the music from the first part. The film can be praised for its beautiful and colorful picture.
The story. The main story is the fullest evidence of the plot. Only the protagonist meets the main antagonist, you already know what the end will be. You know which of the 'good' characters will die, though it shouldn't. The film actively touches on the subject of fathers and children, which is not a bad thing, but I am already tired of seeing this topic in every 2nd film.
Characters. It seems that the writers, instead of revealing the characters, decided to hammer the film with inappropriate (not everywhere) jokes. Composition ' Guardians' unchanged. It was not at all gratifying that the scenes with 'stupid' Groot take about 30 minutes of the film. All the action scenes (for which Marvel Studios is famous) were horribly staged. Of course, the enemy ships will explode in the hundreds, but the main characters will not appear a scratch (except for the final scene, but there I did not have a drop of sympathy (undisclosed characters as if)).
In conclusion, I will say that despite all my negative words, the film was not bad. It is perfect for family viewing, but more estimation at the bottom I can not put. Pleasant viewing!

P.S. All the above is a purely personal and biased opinion of the author of the review.
After watching the second “Guardians” in the eye even more catches one of the main reasons for the failure of “Suicide Squad”. But these tapes are very similar. After all, first of all, both of them tell about a group of notorious villains who in the course of the action become friends and go on the side of good. But when it comes to Squad, its problem, of course, was the total control of the director of the studio, which, it seems, did not fully understand what kind of movie they wanted. The outcome is always a bit predictable.
The story of the Guardians is exactly the opposite. Director James Gunn is, of course, the author. And it was a wise decision on Marvel's part to let him realize his creative potential to the fullest. So it turned out that the first film was saturated with the atmosphere of a fervent team adventure in the setting of space opera, modern “Star Wars”, if you will.
The comparison with Star Wars is not accidental. When watching the second part, it immediately becomes clear that Gunn was clearly inspired by the fifth episode of the famous space saga. Quite unexpected plot parallels arise here and there, and in the end it comes almost to a timeless repetition of “The Empire Strikes Back”. And the structure of the narrative is very similar. In fact, the heroes are divided into two groups. Each of them has its own goal, its own storyline, which towards the end converge.
And despite this obvious borrowing of form, the Guardians cannot be denied the exceptional ingenuity of their creators. Gunn immediately makes it clear that the film will not have special ties with the rest of the Marvel Cinematic Universe: “Guardians” is his author’s brainchild and he is free to do with it whatever he wants. And if the original picture still held within certain limits, the sense of proportion in the sequel is somehow too relative. Humor is often on the verge of a fall, any action scene turns into an acid trip or even reaches the point of absurdity in the madness taking place on the screen. I must say that even the typical Marvel scheme of “false death” Gunn ridiculed and even turned into a significant and very funny element of the plot. We are talking about Groot, who, after his self-sacrifice in the first film, was reborn into a baby.
However, the main source of humor was not even him, but Drax performed by Dave Batista. The roles of many characters have changed a little. Yondu and Nebula, formerly so inconspicuous and even rather annoying, have become sympathetic antiheroes with their own goals and motives. Yondu steals every scene he appears in (the prison break episode is something!). But the cherry on the cake is Kurt Russell. It will be interesting to watch how your own attitude towards his character changes along the way, which at some moments will remind you of both Stuntman Mike from Proof of Death, and General Zod, and Darth Vader (hi again to Star Wars).
More than two hours of exciting space adventure is what Guardians of the Galaxy were and what they are. And time will put everything in its place and show whether the Guardians can take an honorable place in the list of space operas and become as iconic as the same creation of George Lucas. Maybe they've already done it.
According to Marvel, saving the world is not heroic, but a real job where everyone has their own niche. And while the Earth is saved by a team of superhumans and a pair of gods, the fate of the universe rests on the shoulders of Guardians of the Galaxy for the second time under the unchanging direction of director James Gunn. The functions and style are similar, but galactic heroism is not at all the same as in the atmosphere of a third planet from the Sun, because in space quite different ideas about the indicators of coolness.
A few months after saving the galaxy in the first part, the gang of Earthman Peter Quill, modestly calling himself Star Lord, green-skinned mercenary Gamora, thug Drax, talking raccoon Rocket and animated Groot tree is no longer a bunch of losers, but a real team that is trusted and paid to protect important objects. However, this does not stop them from getting involved in ridiculous stories. Even when it comes to lost family ties...
Vintage works by Vally Wood and films about Flash Gordon in 1955 and 1980 inspired James Gunn to visually give the sequel to Guardians of the Galaxy the style of early popular science novels of the 50-60s of the XX century. That’s why the “Guardians” in the second part are striking even more detail, crazy dynamics, neon glare, a subtle sense of rhythm, daring humor, amazing planet formation and moving glass statues.
And sort of like the tape belongs to Marvel, and the threat again hangs, including over the Earth, and Stan Lee, as always, is near the thick of events, and the film does not tire of the usual pathos of heroism and self-sacrifice for the benefit of the Universe. Because instead of a mountain of muscle and iron, tremendous flexibility and strength here especially in the price of ingenuity, recklessness, sarcasm, a good vestibular apparatus and love of music, without which you can not overcome thousands of light years, disgust for alien beings and a wall on the way to the heart of a raccoon.
This attention to detail and wit in the dramatic core of the film about family ties and love cement the effect of rehabilitation of James Gunn after his fall into the hopeless pit of unrecognition called Movie 43 (2013), where in 2014 the director earned three Golden Raspberry awards for worst script, director and film. Now he is already the owner and nominee of Saturn 2015 in the same categories for the first part of “Guardians of the Galaxy” – with new force proves his viability and the right to love and respect of the viewer. Let them be less famous than in Movie at that time, but equally talented and beloved actors in the frame. Among them are Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Batista, and Vin Diesel, who now not only voices, but also moves for baby Groot using motion capture technology. And all under the wing of the experienced Kurt Russell, who for two minutes shone with his former youth.
As a result, for $ 200 million budget, Gunn was able to fit into the film everything that could be shown without compromising the form or content in a fantastic picture about saving the galaxy. Another thing is that for a tedious two and a half hours, the lower back flows in the uncomfortable chair of the cinema. But enchanting fights and bright colors can remove any fatigue in the movie. And the incessant banter and closer acquaintance with each of the characters, bypassing all the nuances, will not once provide attention at home. After all, this tape is closer and closer, as long as in the ranks of a cool team all of the outcasts and losers of their world can be every limited-speaking tree. And not only the unattainable genius of a billionaire philanthropist, or the only experience of the unique serum of the ideal soldier.

The Guardians of the Galaxy is perhaps the strangest and most diverse film crew you can remember. An earthling, a talking raccoon, a living tree, a deadly killer with green skin and a silent thug – such creatures simply do not gather in one place. Part 2 is a worthy example of that sequel, which is no worse than the original, as it usually happens. I don’t think he’s much better, he’s just different, more emotional, family and even sentimental, if you will. The director of the film, James Gunn, after the stunning success of the first part and huge box office fees, did not copy himself and made a sequel, but with completely different ideas and a different meaning.
The film tells us about the continuation of the adventures of our team in the vast expanses of the cosmic universe. Star-Lord finds his father, or rather the opposite, the father finds his son, the family is reunited, and it would seem that could be better, but no. In fact, Pierer Quill has long had another real family, and the love of his father has its secret evil intentions.
The plot of the film seems to be woven from various individual scenes, and at first I even thought that the script was so weak that the timing simply decided to artificially increase by additional scenes about those who have nothing to do with the main story. But everything turned out to be much deeper, and several storylines eventually merged into one, allowing the viewer to independently assemble all the puzzles into one big picture. Immediately guess who will fight the Guardians, not so easy, as the villains in the film a good set, which creates a certain intrigue and makes watching the film even more exciting. In fact, Gunn had something to say and what to show the viewer, and as it seemed to me in the end, in the second part he shot only a small part of his ideas and ideas.
Here, unlike the previous series, not action and mind-blowing special effects come to the fore, but more melodramatic relationships between the characters themselves and their personal experiences. The line of a large strong family connects everything that happens on the screen. All dramatic moves work and, in between killer jokes, the viewer cries with emotion, and some scenes even squeeze a tear out of us. Humor is also abound in the film, jokes and jokes here are under any, even the most refined sense of humor. And vulgar and childish, and cute and rude, game and text - all in great abundance and for every taste. And such a set does not get tired, since humor is diluted with sentimental moments, and melodrama with good jokes, and all this is seasoned with good action and spectacular special effects from above, which gives just a flurry of positive emotions. The film looks in one breath, and now the credits begin, and it seemed that you just sat down to watch.
Characters of the most motley group as always at the top, each to his previous characteristic behavior only added something new. Especially pleased the thug Drax, who turned from a big silent man into a philosopher with a great sense of humor. Well, baby Groot is a special case, all the charm of the picture is collected in this small good plant. Of the secondary characters, there are a lot of bright memorable personalities who for a total of two hours of the film’s timing simply did not have time to reveal themselves properly. Everyone wanted to know a little more, but perhaps that’s a good thing, as now even more thirst for new adventures from the Guardians fans will wait for the third part of the franchise. And for Marvel, I think, not particularly rusty, so they will not let us get bored, shooting prequels or spin-offs. For example, I would like to watch a separate film with a cool male action about Yondu, well, or a carrot comedy with Rocket in the title role.
A separate highlight of the film is the original soundtrack, selected personally by the director from a huge number of songs of the 80s and 90s. I don’t want to talk about music for a long time, but it’s gorgeous, each song in its own way. The music undoubtedly enhances the viewer’s perception of the picture. Each composition is in its place and makes the sad moments even more sentimental, and the cool action even more picky. The music from the very first scene of the film, when baby Groot inserts a plug from the column into the connector to the very final credits, accompanies the viewer, as if Star-Lord shoved headphones into your ears from his old cassette player, and you get high with him from the songs of Sweet or George Harrison.
As for the post-credits scenes, there are more and more of them in the series of these comic films with each new picture, and I personally always look forward to them, as they are very informative and give the viewer not a faint hope for future Marvel creations. There are 5 such scenes in this film, and believe me, there is something to see!
To summarize, “Guardians of the Galaxy.” Part 2 is a movie that will appeal to everyone, big and small, and lovers of “dumb” comedies and fans of films with hidden meaning, everything! There is something for everyone, and this “something” is done with high quality, dignity and soul. A great action movie, chic effects, laughter through tears and tears through laughter – this storm of emotions will give you the second part. For those who haven’t seen it yet, don’t miss it! Go and see the whole family! And I promise you, you will love it!!

How difficult it is to remove the continuation of a successful story in such a way that it is in no way inferior to the original. Even Steven Spielberg himself after the incredibly successful "Jurassic Park" & #39; put albeit more spectacular, but empty sequel, which is not near the very first trip to the prehistoric world. I had some doubts about James Gunn, who gave us a meeting with Guardians of the Galaxy in 2014. But the rules can sometimes be bypassed, as the director proved to us.
The continuation of the story of Peter Quill and the team of galactic vagrants turned out to be even more juicy, dynamic, funny and soulful. We already know all the characters, now they are not just friends, but a motley family. And the pathos of Dominic Toretto is completely out of place here, for ' Guardians of the Galaxy' have nothing to do with a farce, and try to entertain us no matter what. In the setting of the plot is the unexpected discovery of Peter his long-lost father, but I will say that this is the most interesting only beginning!
James Gunn brought the 80s soundtrack back into fashion, reminding us of many cool songs unjustly forgotten in modern times. I also liked that the selection of actors did not bypass Sylvester Stallone and Kurt Russell. And these guys, even in old age, will give cigarettes to young people.
Of course, there are a lot of assumptions in the film that are not good with logic, but it is also 'Guardians of the Galaxy'! These are the guys who are putting space on their knees and getting a lot of fun out of it! So it’s best to stand next to them, put on some good music and get off.
In 2014, Marvel Studios released a super hit titled 'Guardians of the Galaxy'. The film turned out simply stunning, earned a lot at the box office, and also received praise from both critics and viewers. The release of the second part was inevitable, and now in three years it comes out!
The creators tried their best, and the film turned out (as for me) at the level of the first part, even a little better. Of course, the sequels from Marvel are successful (except for the second ' Iron Man') and ' Guardians of the Galaxy. Part 2' is no exception. The film is already worth $833 million and a third is in development. In the meantime, let’s talk about the film:
Plot. As in 'Tore' there is a relationship between Peter Quill and his father, but by the end it all slides back into 'banalism'.
Characters-Play actors. The cast is as high as ever! He was joined by celebrities like Kurt Russell, and actors (actresses) for whom this year will be a breakthrough.
Humor. He's great! Indeed, I probably haven't laughed since the comedy 'Team 'A''.
Special effects. The graphics are gorgeous! The picture cheerfully begins and powerfully ends!
The film is titled ': Guardians of the Galaxy. Part 2' turned out not much better than its predecessor, but still an excellent film with a star cast, star humor and star graphics:

P.S. James Gunn officially told all fans that the release of the third part of the "Guardians" & #39; will not take place before the fourth part of the "Avengers" & #39; The film will probably not be released until 2020.
P.P.S. There are indeed five post-credits scenes in the film, but four of them are purely humorous, and one gives a spoiler to the (most likely) third part of the film ' Guardians'
The first part of the blockbuster “Guardians of the Galaxy” in the seemingly distant 2014 did for Marvel almost impossible – saved it from saturation of the audience with stories about brave guys in colorful underwear. After all, it seemed that almost the same type of films on comics, in which each new episode changes only the coloring of the shape of the characters, finally flooded the market of high-budget cinema with its boring cliche. Not to say that now the situation in the film market has changed a lot, but, at least, it was the adventures of brave scumbags, wood and raccoon that were able to shake the genre with its originality and sometimes extremely harsh satire over all the screen versions of American comics. After the box office success of Guardians, the studio became more accommodating to experiments like Logan, Ant-Man and Deadpool. It turned out that not the most popular heroes can put on the shoulder blades of Captain America and Iron Man. At least because they may not take their work to save the world so seriously. The sequel, however, did not have any tasks to shake the foundations anymore. He just needed to be a good follow-up. And he certainly did.
The viewer catches the guards for their usual occupation - the collapse of the heads of the next supostats. Of course, for money. The peaceful course of life of galactic limitless destroys the appearance of a mysterious gentleman who is able to be in outer space without a spacesuit. He calls himself immortal, and also hints that the head of the squad Peter Quill is his blood son. And while you all thought that Guardians of the Galaxy has turned into a template sequel, in which you must necessarily raise the topic of fathers and children, I hasten to reassure you. Naturally, our guards will eventually save the notorious Galaxy. This is the most unusual way for you.
The main task that faced the godfather of the franchise, James Gunn, who for the second time acts as a director and screenwriter, is not to break the fragile design of the original, which dragged viewers into this universe. Humor, a sense of real team play, mandatory teenage epicity - these were the pillars on which the Guardians stood. And, much to his surprise, Gunn almost completely broke one of them, while filling the ruined building with something that the adventures of a raccoon, a tree and an idiot calling himself “Star Lord” definitely could not be expected.
The broken pillar in the film, paradoxically, was humor. The first part simply sparkled a banter over the comics, over the pathos of their characters, and in general the meaninglessness and childishness of most representatives of this part of the American pop cult. There were endless references to American culture, music, everything was just imbued with the spirit of the 70s, only with huge spaceships and alien guns. The sequel sometimes appeals to such jokes, but most of the humor here does not rise above the level of puberty teenagers chatter at recess. A complete gentlemen's set: gags about the genitals, excrement, sexual relations and hamstrings in the spirit of "dude, you have a name - Shocker Face." That should have been invented! It is clear that the rating of 16+, which received the sequel, had to somehow justify. But there is still doubt that an older audience will be able to take this for something witty. It seems that all this inappropriate vulgarity Gunn was forced to insert into the film producers and marketers, who, of course, know best what the audience will like.
But amid all this childishness, the author managed to insert serious, adult scenes into the film. There are many arguments about genetic and moral fatherhood, the impossibility of peaceful life between people close to each other. Absolutely humorous film for the final turns into a tragic farce, which still wants to empathize. The franchise, despite the appearance of the character for the female and child audience in the form of Baby Groot, unlike him, managed to grow up in three years of production. And it is this seriousness that saves the sagging humorous plan, giving “Guardians” hope for something truly epic and complex by the standards of comics in the mandatory triquel.
But still, despite some metamorphoses of internal content, the second part of the adventures brava team has retained everything else for which it is so loved by the audience. The amazing chemistry between the characters didn’t go away – they really believe in their relationship, you feel that it’s not just a crowd of characters from different comics that the writers made hang out together. “Guardians” is a team, a family that has a lot of contradictions, but you know perfectly well that these guys will survive and give a light to the most dangerous galactic evil. Why do they even need the Avengers? They themselves are able to give Thanos a thrush in the final phase of the story next year. Gann’s signature teenage spontaneity in the staging of battle scenes was not lost. Where jokes in dialogue make adults embarrassed, visual humour remains out of reach. When, against the backdrop of a huge battle with an alien monster, little Groot dances to Mr. Blue Sky, you realize that only in this comic book from Marvel can it be both epic, frivolous and fun in one single scene.
Despite all the fears, the sequel to “Guardians of the Galaxy” was almost the perfect sequel. The concept of the original is either fully preserved, or in the right way reinterpreted. If we discard the sometimes inappropriately vulgar teenage humor, then we have a sequel that no Marvel comic book hero could get. This is a very noisy and beautiful movie that recycles every ruble spent on a ticket as an attraction. He does not forget to tell the audience something really important. The Triquel is now in the hands of James Gunn. Perhaps this comic book is no longer worth worrying about.
Watching this movie did not bring the slightest amount of pleasure. From numerous reviews about the second guards, we can conclude that they are at least as good as the first, and this is not at all true in my opinion. The first guards I liked - linear, simple, but at the same time interesting plot, great humor, banter over Hollywood clichés - all this gave the film the right, intriguing atmosphere, and full involvement in the adventures of the heroes. A strong villain in the image of the Lord of the Kree and the dramatic but inspiring death of the Pile brought tension to the plot and doubt to the omnipotence of the heroes, and a simple and logical denouement made it possible to feel the human essence of each of them. But the second guards are not like that! Villain-Father - ' I (we) will take over the universe my son' Hero son+Fon = ' I (we) will not let you do it, because you killed my mother, whom you loved so much that you planted a tumor in the brain, otherwise you could throw stupid plans to take over the universe' What nonsense? Why does a villain even need Quill? As, literally, 'batteries'? If the villain is so omnipotent, why didn’t he just make a copy of himself, or couldn’t he come up with something more intelligent (or come up with another, less banal purpose of existence) in 39 million years? Why is it not for this reason that the villain takes so long to get to the heroes who are near the center & #39; which is essentially the receptacle of the villain? Why do stone columns begin to rise from the bowels of the planet on one of which are located, hanging the legs, Gomor and Nebula, although everything around collapses and crumbles? Why are there moves to ' the brain dash of the villain' which are just adjusted by the writers to the size of a small Pile? Why didn't ShockerFace hide a better arrow and Yondu's neurocomb, or just destroy them? Why are Drax's jokes so stupid you want to blow your mind out? Why on earth did other devastators come to honor Yonda - he broke the code and did almost nothing to defeat the villain (well, except for the words ' I control the arrow heart, not the neurocomb, which for beauty is soldered into my head ')? What's the point? Where's the logic? Uh-oh?
Some may say that in terms of the same sense and logic, the first part is no better, but if there are shoals in it, then at least they did not catch my eye as much as in the second part. It looks like the film is designed for ten-year-olds - more colors, meaningless action, and bending all and all the characters.
Maybe I’m getting old for those movies. Since I watched 'The Hobbit', no blockbuster film, even the much-vaunted 'Intersteller' (we are shaken when passing through a spatial portal-hole, too-too) has impressed me, and all sorts of script trifles and omissions and get into the eye and distract. Of course, if you find fault, then in any film you can find nonsense, but I sincerely hoped that the Guardians 2 will bypass the sad fate & #39; second & #39; sequels. After viewing, there was only regret and emptiness (just a vacuum), and nothing more.
And finally, for those who begin to feel that Hollywood blockbusters, a la the Age of Ultron and Captains of America, are another soulless crafts of the film industry, but do not yet experience complete disappointment after watching such films - Guardians of the Galaxy 2 is not for you, there will be no former joy, pleasure and rest, only hopeless jokes, an absurd plot and too lucky heroes, whose death would be less shame than their next impossible salvation in the name of the future of the Marvel Universe and the box office.
The continuation of the most innovative film about superheroes was no worse than the original and fully preserved the style of the first film. A team of the most diverse characters once again saves the galaxy from an insidious invader. From the very beginning, the film immerses in its unique atmosphere and does not let go until the very end. The film has a lot of beautiful shots and interesting angles.
In the process of viewing, we get to know the old characters better, in particular, the film allows you to better understand and deeply penetrate the characters of Yondu and Nebula, better understand their motivations and behavior. In general, in the film, each of the members of the guard team managed to open up from a new side and it can not but rejoice. In the course of the film, the characters became even closer and were able to become a kind of family, where each stands as a wall for each other. The film also introduces us to new, no less colorful characters. In particular, I would like to highlight the main villain, the authors managed to come up with something new and not cliched.
With humor, everything is also quite good, which is only worth the episode, imagine a tense moment, the ship crashes and is about to collide with the surface of the planet, you are all in attention and worried about the fate of the heroes and then suddenly, among all this house, show an island of calm and serenity, such a contrast that the whole hall laughed. Anyone who's watched will know what I mean. And this is not the only successful joke, in general there are a lot of them, some successful ones on the edge, everyone will find humor to their liking, but personally I am most fond of the above episode.
Musically, the film continues to please us with winding music from the eighties and by the final credits it is no longer possible to dance.
In the end, I want to say that this tape is a great example of an entertaining movie, which will certainly be remembered by the viewer and give a lot of positive emotions and good mood.
Guardians of the Galaxy 2 is one of the best superhero movies of recent years.
I didn’t see the first movie, although I know the basics. This is why I will judge the film as an independent work.
In general, the film tells about how our brave team after saving the world began to work as mercenaries on a large scale. It all starts with protecting some batteries from an evil monster. It would seem that everything is standard, but only the fight itself takes place in the background, and the focus is on the cute little Groot, dancing to just a chic song. In short, I won’t spoil much and just say that here the audience is told about the families of the entire team (especially Star Lord and Gamora), Rocket is an idiot, and Groot didn’t kill everyone. In general, it is quite good, although uncomplicated. Directing is just great: everything is done competently and professionally. Action is very good. Some of them don’t come out of my mind at all.
The characters in the picture are good. I didn’t watch the first movie, but I did. Especially Drax and Rocket. They all have their own character, charisma, role in the plot (although Drax has it, perhaps, the most insignificant), and there is a banal chemistry between them.
Music is fire. Half the tracks and songs will not get out of your mind for a very long time. The special effects are great. The acting is quite on the level, but the actors who play Ego and Yondu are only good in places, but in general they are not very good and do their best.
Separately, humor. There is some dissonance with him in the film. It will pass a really funny joke, some not funny vulgarity or just idiocy. But in general it is suitable.
As a result, we have a great entertaining movie, where almost every aspect is executed at the highest level. Moreover, this is not just a one-time movie, but a really exciting movie that you will certainly want to review.

Went to the Guardians of the Galaxy 2 film cool, beautiful with very interesting characters liked all the characters especially the club Drax in the film this character is very often humorous compared to the previous part, it is worth noting the visual part of the film here we were provided with beautiful graphics.
The sequel, unlike the first, is more local, and musical in the film, there are many drive, musical works as in the first “Guardians” at a height and accounts for 35 percent of success. Tracks of the 70-80s have already become the hallmark of the franchise.
James Gun chose the theme of the family in the fantastic blockbuster hooligan. And even more amazingly, he revealed it no worse than in a psychological drama.
The sequel turned out great!
As a result, we can say that the Guardians of the Galaxy. Part 2" turned out to be different in tone from the first part, but this does not lose at all. The same tempo of narration, bright visual component and clear story. The disadvantages can be attributed - stupid sometimes jokes, but you can safely close your eyes to this, since the pros greatly outweigh.
The second “Guardians” will appeal to a multi-age audience, everyone will see and take out something of their own from viewing. What can we expect from a quality film? .
The Marvel Cinematic Universe expands with each new film. An incredible number of actors they made recognizable and loved, they are removed and actors of the first magnitude. That's just with each next film, more and more reinforced the idea that from 'Infinity War' will be an incredible vinaigrette, of course, the film will take its incredible number of beautiful actors, delightful special effects ... But the attitude to the story is already very skeptical. . .
2014. Guardians of the galaxy. Only comic book lovers knew about them, but Marvel likes to please its viewers with novelty, and it turns out that they have it perfectly. Good plot... Beautiful, memorable and immediately loved heroes. Special effects... Music (which alone is worth) Humor. A movie you remember and want to watch... After coming out, quite neutral Age of Ultron and Confrontation. A great but quickly forgotten Doctor Strange. As a result, compared with the Guardians can, again unknown to ordinary people, Ant-Man (but in misses in the scripts of the sequels at the studio, wait ' Ant-Man and Wasp' desire decreases).
2017.'Guardians of the Galaxy. Part 2' If you start with a good one, we got a very high-quality product in terms of pictures, visually incredible film, very cool to watch the redirection of focus, excellent detail, bright colors, this film displays the power of modern special effects 100%. I also want to say about makeup, because there are so many characters on whom it is very complex, and looks impressive. We will wait for the Oscar nomination, it is unconditionally worth it.
Screenplay. It's very close to failure. The whole point of the plot - all shot and defeated 5 people on one ship, nothing interferes with them. There is no intrigue or interest in terms of the plot, the viewer does not wait for the end, does not think how it will end. The first is the Sovereigns, they are only chasing their batteries in the film, and Yondu was brought to the guards, and this revenge creates the impression of interference with the main plot. The story of the Ego is simple, clear, and unimpressed. As for the characters, the Star Lord and Rocket have not changed much, Gamora and his sister are not particularly attracted to their motivation, Little Groot was more annoying than he was cute, Ego, here Kurt Russell was not particularly impressed. And it remains that the new bright images of this film were Yondu, and Drax, as the bulk of the funny jokes on it. But the jokes performed by other heroes, some unfinished parody of humor. Also in this parody can be attributed philosophical branches, fathers-sons, sisters, when everything is clear, but this is a drop of drama in the sea of Marvel.
So we ended up with a movie to watch, not listen to. Much of what is said on the screen only lowers the impression of the film and generally passes by, except for the music of Quill, this moment is not inferior to the first part. And so, please your eyes, incredible action, cool special effects, and an incredibly beautiful picture.
Marvel products are always popcorn action. Shootings, a full picture, uncomplicated humor and a banal plot. For the past seven years, the studio has been passing me by, not because I’m not a superhero fan (not really, but I just love the old Spider and Jessica Jones). Because everything is too monotonous and boring. Out of this thicket, however, the only “Marvel” film that I really liked for its originality – “Guardians of the Galaxy”. So when the second part came out, I just couldn’t miss it and ran to the movies.
In the center of the Guardians of the Galaxy, there is undoubtedly a colorful composition: the man Peter Quill, the thug Drax, the green-skinned alien Gamora, the Groot tree and the battle raccoon Rocket. As in the first part, the team actively leads intercosmic battles and gets into various troubles. The characters are in the foreground, the plot is in the second. Charisma, unlikeness, habits of the main characters make the story alive and unique. Well, where else will you see a raccoon running with a machine gun and a tree repeating its name?
The second part of “Guardians” remained for me a work of quality, although not holistic. I really liked the individual episodes where I jumped up and burst into laughter. Seriously, what's the point where Groot is trying to steal a red scallop (God forgive me, filmmakers, I don't remember the name of this thing). Or Drax's dialogue with Ego's assistant. For the sake of such scenes really worth spending three hundred rubles for a ticket. However, if you take the film as a whole, it sags in places and loses logic. I'm not saying it's a bad impression. Rather, it is something that you can justly dig in and take away points when putting the final score.
Humor is still good, though it doesn't always shoot. The atmosphere is just as familial and warm, despite the fact that the action takes place in cold space. References to the eighties and the soundtrack in the style of retro – generally really shooting chip. Separately, I would like to highlight the imagination of the creators – these all kinds of aliens, their abilities, weapons, the image of the worlds forced to mentally put pluses. You can see that the huge number of people mentioned in the credits worked not only in the name of commerce, but also creativity. I'm sure a lot of the details weren't written in the comics, that they were actually the ideas of the crew.
To sum up, it's worth going. Especially those who watched the first part. I got the first one, but the second one was on the level. Pleasure the little Groot and visit several planets with the main characters. The sea of special effects even cuts your eyes, but this is a fantastic action, where everything should glow, explode, rattle, so that the viewer leaves with finished popcorn and vivid impressions. “Guardians of the Galaxy” certainly guarantee you.

I’m not a fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and honestly, I don’t want to have anything to do with it, or with the brand twist, the B jokes and the victory of good over evil. But it just so happened that the first part of Guardians of the Galaxy managed to interest me even before its release. The rabble that saves the galaxy: it seemed interesting and fresh, but in fact neither the plot nor the explosive action was brought there. However, I decided to give the Guardians a second chance.
So what happened? And the same thing happened, only this time with jokes about dicks, ass, raccoon jokes and punchlines in the style: one pushes a serious speech, and the second creates / says some kind of nerd. However, this did not prevent the audience from laughing at stupid jokes and enjoying them. Pipple grooves, as they say.
Those who have watched the Defenders or reviewed them will surely remember the ridiculous tearful scenes on the level: let’s turn on sad music, and an actor with an expression of universal longing will read his monologue. Now, in the second Guardians, they're half of the total timekeeping. I'm quite serious, by the middle of the film, literally after every shootout, someone is going to burst into a universal revelation. And it's interesting, but it comes down to such incredibly interesting and amazing conflicts, like the conflict between sister and sister or the conflict between father and son. Add to that the villain who is so evil because he is evil. The villain, who has been deceiving everyone for millions of years, but for some reason immediately tells the main character (who at that time almost lured to his side) about the villainy he committed over him in the past. Why did he do it? Just so xD I'm serious, we didn't even bother to explain it, well, because he's a villain, damn it, and has to do villains to be the most evil villain in the world. Mua ha ha!
All I have to do is ask those who have given Guardians of the Galaxy ratings above 4-5: “What is better than the Defenders?” Yeah, the budget is higher, the scenes are more spectacular. That's it. Otherwise, the Guardians are the same superhero gum with a blunt plot and weak serve. Give Uncle Sarik 200 lamas and a man who will supervise their spending, and he will shoot a kinzo a little worse.
Plus in all the Guardians there are only two - Drax, who at least tries to be funny and a mantis girl, whom everyone for some reason smacks. That's barely enough to raise my grade just above one.
The weird thing is the mood. Here you can not sometimes understand whether a thousand little things ruined your day, or whether everything was bad from the very beginning, and every little thing you adjusted to your mood, whipping up depression. What do I mean? The thing is, Guardians of the Galaxy 2 got me thinking like this. Despite everything, I did not like this film, and I was surprised to realize that I could not immediately give the reason for this antipathy – whether the price of popcorn predetermined my negative attitude, and then I myself have found something to complain about. Or were those thousand little things not just in my imagination and the movie deserved to be treated like that? But everything in order.
Another Marvel movie. And it would seem that everything here, if not according to the canon, then exactly according to the latest fashion, which provided Marvel the box office, and the audience with pleasure. The riot of colors is provided by laser shows, explosions and views of space. The special effects are striking, but not pressing. It’s just in moderation, the film doesn’t try to take height in just one picture. There is also a feature in the film - retro on the 80th, which is reflected not only in the soundtrack. Jokes can be stupid and vulgar (for example, about the size of a kakah), but this is the exception to the rule. At the moment when little Grunt was looking for a comb on the ship, I must have been crying with laughter. And in the end, I almost cried from the heart-wrenching cries of "Where's Chris?" But it wasn't a joke anymore. Drama.
And the rest of the movie (at least!) is good. The plot is not obtrusive, but if you want, you can turn on the imagination and philosophize yourself on the topic of blood and spiritual kinship. Acting? Seriously appreciating acting in superhero movies is like tasting tea in the dining room. It's simple, it's fine or it won't. In this case, it works.
So what's the problem with not liking the movie? Is it the popcorn in front? I think the little things are okay. I'm afraid not. There are only two reasons, but that is enough.
The first is the battle scenes. They turned out to be impossible to stage. No, it is clear that no one will kill the main characters at the beginning of the film. And in the middle, too. In many movies, there are opponents to warm up – just to show the coolness of the characters. Star Wars stormtroopers don't shoot well either. But at least they're shooting.
No, seriously, opponents who don't even shoot? The way the rocket gushed over the Devastators in the woods is just sweet. And the action scenes are supposed to impress. A thousand ships on the tail? No problem! Getting away from a spaceship is a big deal. All this is so, again, staged that sometimes you wonder – how else, the director who leads the process did not get into the frame? Not the slightest sense of excitement for the characters (except for the last scene). Yes, again, other movies do that too. But here, apparently, they do not even try to make the viewer worry - we will show a beautiful picture to good music, and this will do. You might even think that the Guardians are more of a comedy, and then a blockbuster.
The second reason is the predecessor. I’m not talking about the first part here. Rather, the entire movie universe. In addition to references to the eighties, the film can shine little, except for the stamp “made by Marvel film studio”. A riot of colors, a joke in battle, a joke between fights, scolding heroes among themselves, silent drama – all this already happened, just sometimes in other proportions and in other locations. You might think that the heroes of other films in this universe (and villains) just reincarnated in the bodies of the guards, and after the end of the film will go back to themselves. No, if you've already forgotten the impressions of other films, then none of this. But if the memory does not fail - as if you do not watch the Guardians, but review.
At the end of it. Please don't throw rocks at the messenger. I’m not saying the movie is bad! God forbid, I'm not a critic. If you judge objectively, he is at least not bad for his genre. So I'm not even going to try to rate it on a ten-point scale. I just want to give you advice. If you’ve already enjoyed Marvel’s fireworks in the form of Iron Man, Thor, the Avengers and Strange, but in recent films you feel that you already have it – it’s better to postpone watching this movie for a couple of years. You're not gonna miss it. Even fireworks might not like it. And the reasons may not only be in a bad mood before watching.
Marvel once had to give Spider-Man to Sony, and the X-Men and Fantastic Four to 20th Century Fox. What are they left with? With little known characters. Only Marvel can work with them.
And so, having collected a bunch of marginalized comics, the film company gave the world a real hit - ' Guardians of the Galaxy'. And how global the success of the first part, the same scale of fears for the second.
What did we get? We already know the heroes, so Gunn begins to reveal them from different sides and exaggerate family values. And while we watch the family grates, the most important thing is lost - the plot, from this there is a feeling that the film stands still.
Everything else is fine. The director skillfully balances on the verge of comedy, drama and action. The film left everything that we were so hooked in the first part - sparkling humor, heartfelt conversations, rich picture, self-sufficient characters and... music! Carefully selected by Gunn from his personal collection, she is not just a background, she is a state of mind, a distinctive feature and a main component of style in the film.
And the final scene will make all skeptics think, because even in comics, heroes die, die for real.
As a result, the creators did not drop the bar, but the same 'wow-effect' as after viewing the first part, no.
8 out of 10
Under the guidance of James Gunn, the Guardians have returned, come back to tell their story, serving as an example of strong friendship, and no matter how dangerous their path, united together, they will be able to withstand even the most terrifying intergalactic threat.
As stated by James Gunn, the tape is very different from the first part of the film, because “Guardians of the Galaxy”. Part 2 only ephemerally uses some of the individual ideas of the first film, and the rest of the timekeeping operates on the topic of human values, and more broadly reveals the characters of the main characters. The film arranges light “heart attacks” of dramas, such as the relationship between Gamora and Nebula, Rocket’s detachment from his team, reflections on his rudeness and rudeness, which each time distance him from his friends, Quill’s reflections, as well as an easy nostalgic tour of childhood for adults, in the face of little Groot. The whole first half of the tape resembles a session at a psychologist, where everyone has something to say to their doctor, only the catch is that the Guardians do not have healers of mental problems and they themselves are doctors of psychological sciences, but self-medication does not always give the proper result, everything is much more complicated. Our heroes will have to look deep into themselves, and in addition save the world, no, the whole universe from a new danger.
Events develop quickly, but the director surprisingly masterfully manages to show everything he planned to demonstrate: dynamic fiction, Easter eggs and cameos with famous actors, a good plot, small references to the previous part, jokes, humor, ducks, love, passion, friendship and family. Thus, the film is based not only on special effects, which, by the way, are simply magnificent, but also on emotions, including the moviegoer the necessary triggers in the relevant episodes. Yes, James Gunn will probably be happy with his brainchild, as he did not leave any omissions on the central storyline. The film director tenaciously took up the dramatic line (in a competent symbiosis with fiction and action), which even more accompanies success. The drama makes the characters more real, simple, even if these personalities have green skin, wool, tentacles, we can observe the transformation of the alien into a person, because as the wise leader once mentioned in the cartoon “Road to Eldorado”, “we are all human.” And, of course, dispelled Gunn's fears about music, and individual soundtracks are deeply embedded in the memory of film lovers and music lovers.
I feel like the soundtrack for the second film will be better.
Agree, the film, where the main character loves music, simply can not do without music, good unpretentious, and sometimes frantically rhythmic melodies that go in the rhythm of what is happening on the screens.
The success of the spring fantastic picture has already become familiar to us actors, and they themselves loved their roles, with a trembling attitude performing them again, as Dave Batista said, “Dracs has become a part of me.” Chris Pratt in his role, his character once again pleased with the positive, the endless supply of sharpness, the hero became more courageous, more close to the definition of the team leader. However, such definitions crumble to dust when all the protagonists of the narrative realize that there should be no leaders in the family, everyone in the family should be equal, fixing equality with actions and self-sacrifice. Zoe Saldana again showed herself as a militant Amazon, as befits her character Gamora, Karen Gillan harmoniously complemented her on-screen sister, and again, as in the original tape, Vin Diesel uttered “I am Groot”. All these characters, old and new, showed us their experiences as an open book, while in the comic book, the value of the family was veiled. In the example of Guardians, brave heroes, letting go of all the fantastic, this tale of space warriors will serve as an example of heroism, kindness, hope, as well as a colorful reminder that family is not only blood ties, but also something more. And let the plot is not burdened with the bonds of intricate intricacy, but the “Guardians” face such simplicity.
And again the final credits, the scenes after them, and all this the beholder accepts with an approving smile on his face. There was also sadness, but it was accompanied by joy, there was a certain confusion, but brightened with humor, there were small disappointments, but hidden under a ton of various emotions that were conveyed by the main protagonists and antagonists. Ultimately, Guardians of the Galaxy. Part 2 is a great family movie, with a well-focused dose of message and self-irony. Let everyone in life have universal salutes, but only for good reasons. Peace be upon you.
E - end
In 2014, the world saw an incredibly high-quality comedy blockbuster & #39; Guardians of the Galaxy' which was not praised only by the lazy. Of course, such a movie could not remain without a sequel. And now, after three years in rental comes 'Guardians of the Galaxy: Part 2' however, it comes out already in the period of decline of interest in the genre of superhero films. But the Guardians managed to stand out and prove that they are a film of a completely different level.
To shoot a sequel that, if not surpass, then at least equal to the first film, it is not easy. Often sequels turn into a copy of the original with a slightly different plot. Therefore, the director of the film, James Gahn, decided to make the new Guardians more dramatic, shifting the comedy to the background.
Surprisingly, the film benefited, despite the increased seriousness 'Guardians of the Galaxy: Part 2' have not lost the charm of the original. The film has a perfect balance, the characters become more complex, find the development of the storylines of the old film. What a pleasure to see all this. The central theme of fathers and children will touch everyone’s heart. It's a joke, but the new Guardians came out on an order of magnitude more dramatic than the recent ' Logan'. Very good morality and an interesting non-linear plot play a plus for the film. Jokes are also at a height and delightful while watching.
Like I said, the characters are getting great development. It’s always easier to show how a team is going to get together than their subsequent relationship, as things can fall into fights over an unshared chair. But there are no problems with this, conflicts arise for serious reasons and it is the most temperate heroes that fits perfectly into their characters. Of course, the cherry on the cake this time was Yondu, who won the hearts of all spectators.
Technical moments at height, music, action, visual, editing. There is nothing to complain about.
The only drawback of the picture is timekeeping. The finale is slightly delayed because of what by the end of the film you start to get tired and a thought involuntarily appears in your head ' well, when will it end?'
The result is 'Guardians of the Galaxy Part 2' a worthy finale of the first part, which, if not better, at least does not concede and does not copy the original. It has good and kind morality, an excellent mix of drama and comedy, so that the film stands out among a ton of monotonous and stupid comic book films.

Marel is apparently going to outshine DC Comics from the big movie. The company is moving in the right direction, giving no respite to itself or its main competitor. In exactly one year, they released as many as three films, one better than the other. Mad and humorous Deadpool, serious and dramatic Logan, and the long-awaited sequel to the Guardians of the Galaxy Part 2. I was so waiting for the continuation of the adventures of the star lord and his team that I almost lost the gift of speech.
The first part was a real breakthrough, collecting large box office and praised reviews of the audience. Director James Gunn has created an alternative version of Star Wars for both the old and the current generation. You can list the advantages without bending your fingers, starting from sarcastic humor, ending with an adventure story in the best traditions of the classics. The continuation of such a significant picture was only a matter of time.
James Gunn seems to be a real Guardian fan, because in some magical way, he managed to shoot the sequel, almost two heads taller than his predecessor. After leaving the cinema, the feeling of great mood and harmony did not disappear. The smile from watching begins with a beautiful introduction in which baby Groot dances to the song Mr. Blue Sky during an epic battle. And this is just a small speck of what the film is rich in. The Guardians of the Galaxy remained the same in almost everything, only twice as many. In space and earth combat, it eclipsed Star Wars and Star Trek. There are no funny and funny jokes as always. Color and love for the main characters is still warm and unbiased.
The plot tells about the meeting of Peter with his experienced father, who has been looking for his son since childhood. Most of the story will focus on the relationship between the characters. Gamora tries to find a common language with her sister, Rocket tries to convince himself that he is not selfish, and Peter tries to start a relationship with his father, whom he missed very much as a child. However, the director did not dwell on the lyrics, the entire atmosphere of space, which imbued with its predecessor, also remained.
The cast of the picture is good. Chris Pratt clearly does not stand still, and with each new film, discovers the unknown expanses of talent. Only in his recent “gravity” did he make it clear to many that he is not just a charming comedian, but also a great artistic nature. The rest of the cast did very well. Zoe Salanda has a lot to grow, I hope for her in the upcoming avatar, Bradley Cooper perfectly played the rocket, Batista performed by Drax is still as funny and principled.
Perhaps the only claim to the sequel, so it's greasy jokes. If Deadpool, almost every second threw out a obscene joke, doing it competently, then for the Guardians of the Galaxy - this is a bad tone. Deadpool is just made for it, and it paints it, and for the Guardians only thickens the colors. The rest of the second part is just a wonderful continuation. A small joint in humor, does not spoil the overall impression. Guardians of the galaxy again left a lasting impression after watching.

P.S. Let’s see what a powerful competitor it will be 'Wonder Woman'
“You have to find a girl to frame yourself. - Poor.
Guardians of the Galaxy. Part 2 is a fantastic action movie and the fifteenth film of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Writer and director was James Gunn, who directed the acclaimed first part 'Guardians'. The budget of the picture was 200 million dollars, while at the box office it collected 791 million dollars, which is quite good, but strange considering that Furious 8 collected almost 450 million more. I was really looking forward to this film, because I consider the first part to be almost the standard of superhero, entertaining cinema! I really liked the first part with its wonderful humor, interesting, charismatic characters, strong script and great audio-video! The second part had high expectations! Were you justified? We'll see about that.
In the center of the plot is the personal story of Peter Quill (Star Lord), who, with the help of his team, travels to remote corners of the universe to uncover the mystery of his origin. And if in the first part we were shown the formation of the team ' Guardians' in the second part, the scriptwriters seriously developed the topic of family relations and competently continued to reveal characters, even minor ones. Each of them is brilliantly designed. Characters are overgrown with backstory, revealed from new sides, and their relationships are complicated. In the film, the beautiful dynamics of the narrative and all the storylines are closely intertwined with each other, so despite the timing of 136 minutes, you watch what is happening on the screen with interest.
Scenario ' strongly stitched', so that in the second 'Guardians' there is everything you need for success: a variety of colorful characters, high-quality dramatic moments, sharp and appropriate humor, adventure and even the nostalgic spirit of the 80s - absolutely for every taste of the most pretentious viewer. The film has enough original and fantastic ideas that are perfectly embodied in the plot. Humor in the picture, at the highest level! It is organic, situational and most importantly, really funny! 10 out of 10.
Activity I was very pleased. Chris Pratt and Zoe Saldana are great at both comedy and dramatic scenes. And I can’t imagine any other actor besides Chris in the role of 'Star Lord' so harmoniously he came into this role. Dave Batista and Michael Rucker in the roles of Drax and Yondu laid out in this tape by 200%, perfectly playing all the emotions. And of course I can’t help but mention my favorite character 'Rocket' who, in the voiceover of Bradley Cooper, along with Dave Batista, pull the main comedy component! Oh, baby Groot's adorable! Also pleased in the frame such 'veterans' as Kurt Russell and Sylvester Stallone, who played secondary but very colorful characters!
Music accompaniment is just great! It seems that almost every soundtrack is inscribed by the director in the script. Songs don’t just sound at the right time, they’re part of the narrative! The tracks are just magical, and as in the case of the first film will sit in your playlists for a long time!
Regarding the visual component and action, here everything is also at the level. The action scenes are high-quality and dynamic. The graphics in the film are very decent! It is very colorful and rich in effects. The picture is bright, juicy with a well-chosen color scheme and a shot! The director’s work and vision deserve praise.
The result is a beautiful, entertaining superhero movie! With a good plot, a well-developed script, a great acting, great humor, atmospheric soundtrack and high-quality video! A worthy continuation of the first 'Guardians' and a beautiful addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But before the first part of the film, I still did not reach a bit! However, I highly recommend watching it. You will be happy!
Like many people, I have been waiting for this movie. The Guardians fell in love after the first film in 2014. I believe that the characters occupy a special place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, to all the characters of which (except Spider-Man) I am completely indifferent.
The guards turned out surprisingly characteristic, lively, fervent and, at that time, some fresh or something.
The sequel is more local and at the same time more personal for each character. Star-Lord, Gamora, Rocket, Groot, Nebula - they all played with new colors, opened from unexpected sides. Separately, it is impossible not to mention Yonda in the performance of the magnificent Michael Rucker, who probably added fans after the second 'Guardians'.
Very lucky 'Guardians' is the director. I’ve watched and read a lot of James Gun’s interviews about the film, and it’s clear that this guy really loves his movie, loves all the characters together and each individually, loves this story as a whole. Unsurprisingly, with relative financial freedom, Gan poured all his great love into every shot 'Guardians' both. A huge plus that the film has a story, albeit simple, but clearly spelled out and very logical.
The second part looks like an organic continuation of the first and at the same time will bring new surprises and new curious characters such as Mantis, Aisha and, of course, Peter’s father – Ego. Here I want to talk about how our friends appear in the new 'Guardians'.
Star Lord, aka Peter Quill (Chris Pratt) has become a creepy bore compared to the first part. James Gun admitted that he deliberately changed his character, which in my opinion benefited Peter. He is full of thoughts about his origin and the search for his roots, father, unspoken and uncertain relationship with Gamora probably also influenced the transformation of the character of the hero. But he remains the same good guy who has to find what he has been looking for all his life, although not where he expected.
Gamora (Zoe Saldana). Green beauty-killer became more vulnerable and feminine. Perhaps finding friends and even family in the face of the guards made her think about a relationship with her half-sister Nebula. Gamora has yet to find out her relationship. The heroine also continues to understand her feelings for Peter.
Rocket (Bradley Cooper) is still wayward, arguing with everyone and everything. It is because of him that our company gets into trouble, which marked the beginning of adventures in the second part. But behind the deliberate rudeness and inaccessibility of the harmful raccoon hides a vulnerable nature, which in the hero opens his unexpected ally - Yondu.
And as soon as it came up - let's talk about unexpectedly became one of the main characters of the sequel. Yondu Udonta (Michael Rucker) becomes almost the center of all the emotional experiences of the viewer. From the very first scene with him in the second 'Guardians' - it is clear that the hero has changed, his something is oppressing, he is not the reckless captain of the devastators, whom we met in the first film. And the events that take place in the future lead Yondu to further transformation. The only thing that remains unchanged is the masterful control of the fire arrow. The scene where Yondu and Rocket break out of captivity is one of the most memorable in the film. Well, Yondu at the end of the ... well, it's just an eye, look - you'll find out. For me (and probably not the only one) Yondu became the main character of the second ' Guardians', bravo to Michael Rooker, who played so much in the comics and even seemingly not the most significant character.
Drax-Destroyer (Dave Batista) (here's a surprise!) becomes the main joker in the sequel. His loud laugh sounds almost at every appearance of the hero in the frame. This metamorphosis successfully defused the image of brutal pitching, which in the first part was expressed exclusively in metaphors.
Baby Groot (oddly voiced again by Vin Diesel) is a funny cutting, his dances will amuse children and adults. And since the director said that the new Groot is a child, he behaves accordingly. In addition, Groot has no memory of the events of the first part, that is, he is a completely new young tree really alive. But this time he will do his part to save the universe.
Nebula. Gamora's blue half-sister still causes trouble, but circumstances force her to become part of the team for a while. This will help Nebula finally discover her sisterly feelings and realize that she has a family.
Ego (Kurt Russell) is the living planet and part-time father (but not father) of Peter. It turned out a very solid organic image. Russell’s acting data did not raise any questions, but there were doubts about how Kurt would fit into the picture ' Guardians'. I can say Russell organically entered the concept of the sequel, I do not even imagine anyone else as the Ego.
The least impression of all made a new heroine - impat Mantis. Perhaps the character Pom Klementieff will have the opportunity to reveal in the next part.
A few words about the soundtrack. Music as in the first 'Guardians' at the height and is 35 percent success. Tracks of the 70-80s have already become the hallmark of the franchise.
Unusually, James Gun chose the theme of the family in the fantastic blockbuster bully. And even more surprising that he revealed it no worse than in a psychological drama.
To sum up, we can say that the Guardians of the Galaxy '. Part 2' turned out to be different in tone from the first part, but this does not lose at all. The same tempo of narration, bright visual component and clear story. The disadvantages can be attributed - stupid sometimes jokes, but you can safely close your eyes to this, since the pros greatly outweigh.
The second 'Guardians' will appeal to a multi-age audience, everyone will see and take something from the viewing. What can we expect from a quality film? .
The triumphant return to the screens of “Guardians of the Galaxy” (clogged halls of evening sessions this confirmation) confirmed the viability of Marvel’s experiments in the stagnant movie universe. And if three years ago there was a big question, will the new characters, including a wordless tree and a talking raccoon, interest the audience and not cause rejection. The arrival of the sequel was waiting for an already formed audience, heated by aphorisms, images and Internet memes. James Gunn proved that universal attention was not an accident and space adventures can captivate millions of viewers.
The main idea that runs through the whole film is the importance of finding a family, both blood and friends, people in spirit, a team of colleagues - creatures that are not indifferent to you and your fate. In some places, the focus on finding soulmates seems too sluggish, taking us away from the expected cosmic atrocities, as it concerns all the main characters. Guardians of the Galaxy 2, on the other hand, covers the family makeup of the audience and people of all ages, from small to large. There are jokes, but they don’t set the tone. Unlike most purebred contemporary comedies, the film manages to mix well, or at least sit with a broad smile stretched across its face, with a minimum of those below the waist. And the signature choice of the soundtrack of the 1970-1980s excites the rudiments of the music lover inside.
The second part became more chambered and lost a certain amount of scope that could be expected. It's both good and bad. In terms of scale, the sequel remained at the same level, but spent more time on its characters. Kurt Russell was very fitting - he's cool. We are waiting for only a few main locations, but quite original. As for the overall visual component, it’s time for Marvel marketers to patent the Guardians of the Galaxy’s unique color palette. Its acidic warm tones create a good original picture, which is clearly seen in the introduction. By the way, even the final credits of the film leave an exceptionally pleasant original impression. It can be seen that, despite the simplicity of the plot, the minimum of innovations, the creators of the project tried to surprise. Genre and cinema film does not move, but from watching relax, and what else is needed for an entertaining product. During the premiere, he watched Guardians 2 twice, in IMAX and regular 2D with a fixed pleasant sediment.
The Guardians of Galaxy 2 are beautiful. James Gunn has done a great job, for which I am so grateful.
This film perfectly spells out the relationship between the characters, a little reveals their past. Almost to the end, you sit there and you don’t know who the villain is in this movie. But in the end, the film makes you think about the first impression of strangers.
There are also great soundtracks that you can listen to separately from the film. Everything was done very beautifully, brightly, but at the same time there are very dark and dramatic moments.
Great acting makes this movie even better. The actors show that they really care where they play and what the result will be on the output.
The post-credits scenes for Marvel became a separate art form. In them you can always see a lot of interesting things and in the guards there were as many as 5. Each of them was beautiful.
After watching the film, I was satisfied and I will gladly watch it more than once.

No way! The film is not so bad as the background of this review! It’s pretty cool when you look at it as a movie. And if you look at the continuation of the first part - you can see how the quality of work flies down the bobsled track.
The traditional story of saving the world was seasoned with a good portion of jokes about feces, nipples and genitals. And if in the famous Comedy Club such jokes were witty, then everything is very bad here. Other jokes of the same level. Although some people came in, for example: 'I just found out I'm a pet and a freak' They laughed. It’s like, ' What a puppy! To die, not to rise!' To die, not to rise! - Really? What is this?! If memory doesn't change my mind, that's what they said 15 years ago. Ears cut from lack of taste and sense of proportion. A lot for traditional guards extra pathos like: ' I do not control the head! Power comes from the heart & #39; Against the background of the overall frivolous mood of the film, ridiculous and inappropriate.
Cherry on the bottom - the phrase of the main character: ' You should have killed my mother and broken my player.' Mmm. In a conversation between two rappers, that would be a joke. When the image of the mother of the main character is personalized for an hour and a half, revealing the circumstances of her life, death, relations with his father, showing love and longing for a son, and then ironically comparing the life of the mother with the player with the mouth of the main character, it is somehow ... well ... strange or what. There is a possibility that the original dialogues and replicas were much more successful. But that's not accurate.
The second stone will fly towards the off-story timekeeping. The second Guardian in terms of the number of family problems can quite compete with Brazilian TV series. Here you and sisters, finding out which of them is better, and two 'brother' with a difficult fate, and several couples at different stages of building a relationship, and father and son, trying to find a common language, and regular dialogue on relevant topics. Why are there so many? I don't understand.
Further development of bright extraordinary heroes from the first part did not happen. With the exception of a couple of scenes, the four perform the same as we have already seen.
If you take for 5 five points the components of the success of the first part - bright heroes, humor and music, the new guards will receive 3, 2 and 4 respectively.
You can praise the film for a couple of good jokes. Not even a couple, but five. And in a good last minute, 20. The creators managed to catch up with sadness naturally and harmoniously, and elicit sympathy from the viewer. Someone might as well cry.
James Gunn directed a sequel to his own film, 2014, which was truly a breakthrough for this incredibly successful studio. Since the release of the first 'Guardians of the Galaxy'CMC (Marvel's Cinematic Universe) released four films that included both a general collection ('Avengers: Age of Ultron' and 'The First Avenger: Confrontation'), and rather successful soloquins of new heroes ('Man-Antrogue'''&i#39;&i#&i#&i#&i#39;&i#&i>&i>&i#39&i>&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&& And that the first 'Guardians', that the second, can also be considered a general gathering, even if there are no superheroes Earth, because there are really many characters, and that Gunn was able to put them all in this film, and give everyone enough time for disclosure deserves incredible praise. Describe all the characters will be very long, so when it comes to it, I will try to do everything as briefly as possible.
And the plot is simple: our motley team, which consists of Peter Quill (Star Lord), Gamors, Drax, Rockets and a slightly grown Groot, is engaged in superhero affairs, although if you look at the truth, they just became popular mercenaries after the events of the original film. They are making new enemies, a whole race of sovereigns whose leader is called Aisha. They will appear periodically in the film, and they will still be interesting to watch, because it is not clear whether they will be able to catch our heroes.
But the plot suddenly changes when Peter and his team meet their father, who is a whole planet and his name is Ego. He is an impatience Mantis, and she can read other people's emotions, which was clearly shown in the trailer. But just after this meeting, several plot branches related to family problems begin at once.
We will look at the characters as they relate to each other in the film, and focus on their problems.
Peter Quill (Chris Pratt), Yondu (Michael Rucker) and Ego (Kurt Russell) - here we have the problem of fathers and children. Many people have been wondering since the last part, why did not Yondu give Peter to his father as a child? And who is his father, because Peter could hold the infinity stone in his hand? You will get the answer to this question in this picture. Ego will explain to Peter how it happened that he was born and why his father was not there all this time. He will try to make up for lost time with his only son. But Yondu is quite warm to Peter, and we'll see that we can consider him a second father to this good guy. After all, this blue-skinned devastator with 'erokesis' on the head will still show itself in all its glory.
Gamora (Zoe Saldana) and Nebula (Karen Gillan) - reconciliation sisters. Both adopted daughters of Thanos, and as we remember, their last encounter with each other did not end very well. And from the very first appearance of Nebula on the screen, they with Gamora will gradually try to come to peace, though not without trying to kill each other.
Drax (Dave Batista) and Mantis (Pom Klementieff) - no problems. But for the most part, they spend most of the time on screen together, and their dialogues become quite amusing given that one takes everything literally and the other is too trusting.
Rocket (Bradley Cooper) and baby Gruth (Vin Diesel) - eternal friendship. The same actors whose faces we will never see in the movie universe. But heroes. The raccoon became a kind of pope for Grut, because he constantly watches the small one so that he does not get into trouble. And the mind of the tree at the time of the events of the film, like a two-year-old child. Of course, Groot will attract your attention to your person, because he turned out to be incredibly cute, but nevertheless you will not be able to distract from the whole film, because there are many events in it. It is also worth noting the most original and cool opening credits I have ever seen, and all thanks to this cute tree.
And although the film turned out to be much more colorful than the first film, with an overabundance of events and a bunch of new characters that perfectly fit into the overall concept, it is still inferior to the first part. Because it's the two characters' problems with Star-Lord and Gamora that take longer than we'd like, making it seem too long. But in general, the continuation of the hit three years ago justified the expectation of many, and we hope that the meeting with the Avengers and the third solo film will please us even more.
About three years had to wait for the continuation of the already familiar to all ' Guardians of the Galaxy' from Marvel. The first part instantly flew into fan circles like hot cakes. A unique approach to film adaptation, non-standard plot techniques, a beautiful visual series were able to attract attention for a long time.
“Birth” in the process of creating a film of characters far from the images of superheroes and their further life on the screen gave the opportunity to look at standard types from a completely new angle. Colorful images like a talking tree or Rockets more suitable for a separate animated series later organically fit into the dynamic plot and brought many bright moments filled with both sharp humor and deep drama.
The second film managed to answer the questions and reveal the stories that were only mentioned in the first picture, without breaking the semantic thread connecting them. There is a great atmosphere
The 80s (music, stylistics, even some fights looked rather unusual), the same caustic jokes of the main characters (sometimes too ... going beyond), funny makeup of “space” creatures and, of course, spectacular battles. Varieties in the locations this time we were not presented, although I wanted to see a little more, still ' space franchise' but ' Easter eggs' clear and not very film literally teeming more than any previous Marvel film.
Despite the saturation of comic situations and a naive-childish, carefree approach to what is happening especially in the first half of the film, the life crises of the main characters, their personal tragedies, child-parental relations like patterns on the canvas are skillfully interwoven into the plot and set the overall tone of the picture.
A special attention paid to family values and the complexities of friendships, by the end of the film leads to a single conclusion - to the importance of appreciating what we already have in our lives.
39 He may have been your father, but he was not your father.
There is no ego in the whole galaxy that they won’t take over!
Starting the development of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, producer and creative director Kevin Feige understood that at his disposal there are critically few cult characters whose names are on the lips of audiences far from the world of comics, and it is the third-party audience that can bring the studio the greatest profit. Stan Lee’s not-so-best-form publishing house has put its most sought-after characters at the long-term disposal of Hollywood giants, including Spider-Man, a firm entrenched in Columbia pictures, the X-Men and the Fantastic Four, all tied by a steel contract with 20th Century Fox and Blade, who defected to New Line Cinema. And yet, despite the fact that the most famous and popular characters of Marvel slipped out of the paternal womb and transferred to the big screen under the guidance of third-party creators, Kevin Feige did not lose faith in his own idea. Gathering around him in fact extraordinary, knowledgeable specialists, confident producer raised to the top of the popularity of not the most famous and beloved by the masses of Tony “Iron Man” Stark, thereby proving that under the leadership of skilled people, even frank graphic mediocrity is able to transform and gather crowds of viewers in cinemas around the world. The premiere and successful rental of Iron Man opened the way to cinema also for such previously unremarkable heroes as Thor, Ant-Man and Black Panther, whose adventures have now become the most anticipated of what the entertainment genre offers. And “Guardians of the Galaxy”, the debut release of which took place in 2014, in the list of the Marvel shock legion, the rear positions are not exactly observed.
The risky idea of Kevin Feige to leave the comfortable conditions of the Earth and go to conquer distant space distances at first caused some doubts, since Peter Quill, Drax, Gamor, Groot and a raccoon nicknamed Rocket knew only that fans extremely immersed in the world of comics. If about the same Tone Stark and Thor was at least something known thanks to comic TV movies and cartoon series of previous years, the so-called “Guardians of the Galaxy” were always in the shadows, without much gloss wandering only through the pages of graphic novels. But when the Marvel Cinematic Universe reached an unprecedented scale, essentially crushing the industry under itself, Feige decided to experiment, putting at the head of the story of outright intergalactic losers who were strikingly different from the rest of the characters in the series, united in the initiative “Avengers”. Not dwelling on only one risky idea, the producer went even further and brought to the filming process director James Gunn, a famous independent marginal responsible for hilarious thrash called “Slug”. Gunn’s unique creative flair and vision was not questioned, but he was outright unlucky with major projects worthy of his ambitions. And therefore the invitation to the site of the "Guardians of the Galaxy" he took with particular enthusiasm, giving us a fun, bright, musical attraction, only catching the history of the "Avengers", which went only to the benefit of the project. Even those not familiar with the Marvel Universe could safely appreciate the extravaganza from Gunn, which could not but affect the box office and the upcoming sequel, promising even more charming madness, good melodies and soulfulness.
Thus, the team of losers who had time to fall in love with the public so much is again in business. Having defeated one overly arrogant blue-skinned ruler, our heroes, led by Peter Quill (Chris Pratt), continue to fight against universal injustice, along the way becoming not just comrades in arms, but family. Left and right destroying all kinds of monsters, stopping coups and punishing those who really deserve it, our heroes have gained a reputation as the most spectacular squad of mercenaries on both sides of infinity, but not the brightest traits of character of some team members sometimes lead to very difficult episodes, which the Guardians of the Galaxy have to solve together. Having received another order to eliminate an unknown cosmic monster, the heroes manage to get into a difficult situation with customers, and at the same time get into the field of view of the unknown from where the Ego (Kurt Russell) appeared, a powerful creature who is subject to amazing opportunities. And among other things, the Ego is also the father of Peter Quill, the most famous earthling of the Galaxy, able to stand on equal terms against representatives of the most powerful alien races. But suddenly arising family ties just do not appear. The heroes will have to find out what lies behind the blinding smile of the Ego, and at the same time deal with the employers who, like annoying flies, wind around their battered ship.
After the last battles of “Guardians of the Galaxy 2” died down, it becomes clear that James Gunn’s debut film was only a warm-up before an incredibly heartfelt, cheerful and kindly skokodliy sequel, which had a much greater dramatic depth and cause-and-effect relationships. Watching the laundry of Quill and his comrades in the fight against Thanos’ henchman from the original film, the audience understood that in the future the story would delve into the intricacies of the souls of such completely different, but bound by strong bonds of unexpected comrades, and James Gunn did not let down fans. We know what fighting abilities the heroes have, what they know and what they fear, and so now it is time to bring the heat of passions to the highest point, telling the viewer everything he wanted to know about Peter Quill and his demons of the past, about Gamora and her complex relationship with her sister, about baby Groot and what he became after a miraculous rebirth. At the same time, James Gunn managed to maintain a delicate balance between pathetic arguments about family, duty, friendship and truly unrestrained fun under the always successful retro music, without which the Guardians of the Galaxy are simply unthinkable. We simply will not have time to get tired of this story, because it competently dilutes the charming madness with an effective drama and vice versa. In addition, Gunn did not forget to pay special attention to his favorites from the good old action 80-90s making them a true decoration of the production.
Having unlimited possibilities of the Marvel Universe, Gunn managed to do the impossible and again bring together on the same set Sylvester Stallone and Kurt Russell, once amusing people in the excellent comedy action movie Tango and Cash. At the same time, we should not forget that at one time Stallone intersected with another regular of the fantastic franchise, the incomparable Michael Rucker, with whom they together conquered the tops in the tense adventure thriller “Climb climber”. Perhaps for a young audience growing up in the 2000s, Gunn’s similar weaknesses do not have much nostalgic weight, but for older audiences, the director made a real feat! Finally, the comic book adaptations were able to unite different generations and force them to destroy evil together. And we have to follow the example of Stallone, Russell, Rucker, Pratt and the company, appreciating their joint adventures. And I have no reason not to wish you the most pleasant viewing!

The first part about the Guardians of the Galaxy gave us a romantic story about a boy stolen from his home planet, who became a space pirate. A great story for lovers of milkshakes and Happy Mil. What did Marvel do in the second movie?
Marvel and comics are synonymous with everyone familiar with modern culture. Bright pictures, an active plot and a minimum of texts - this is the secret of the success of this studio for children and adolescents from 8 to 20 years, forcing many years to follow the adventures of Thor, the Incredible Hulk and Iron Man. Movies for this category should be no less simple than comics: action movies with battles, melodramas with sex, cartoons with laughter and thrillers with a lot of blood. If one of the genres begins to intersect with the other (for example, the heartfelt family lines of the main characters crawl into the actions of the action movie), then the target audience ceases to understand what is happening on the screen, and therefore the drug effect of the film on the young viewer stops.
The non-obviousness of the storyline and its mixture are not the only problems of the second part of the Guardians. Back to the target audience: who of today’s youth knows about David Haselhoff? Or have they all seen Knight of the Roads and Malibu Rescue? Hardly. To bring the hero of the previous generation to the picture means to interest older viewers. That’s just such adult film lovers are many overseas, which are neither in conservative Europe, nor far from “picture books”. Russia.
"Guardians of the Galaxy.Vol.2" is not a new story, which would overlap flashbacks, revealing the main characters. The new film is reminiscent of the latest picture of the Star Wars universe - an addition to the classic series, but nothing more. The Guardians are still beautiful music, charming Groot, absolutely earthy Peter Quill and stuck in space movies by Zoe Soldana.
Let’s hope that the announced new chapter of the saga will be more meaningful, and you will not have to wait too long for it.
My sweet Lord
Hm, my Lord
I really want to see you
But it takes so long, my Lord.

Guardians of the Galaxy Part 2 or Sovereigns Strike Back
“Guardians of the Galaxy” is perhaps my favorite MCU film after the first “Iron Man”, despite the rather trivial plot, the picture of James Gunn is one of the best space operas in recent times, an excellent disclosure of colorful characters, an interesting and very original setting that absorbed all the best of colleagues in the genre, the soundtrack of the 70s era looks surprisingly harmoniously against the background of far from earthly events, ridiculing pathosy cliches, the “golden mean” between drama, humor and action, in a general example of a summer blockbuster. Of course, I was waiting for the sequel, and not only because I liked the first part, the reason is much more global, “Guardians of the Galaxy” became the first serious step towards the development of the cosmic universe of Marvel, so to speak, “a new frontier”, where Gunn will bring the next time it was only possible to guess, no matter how twist the cosmooper genre provides much more options for the development of events than “The Avengers” or “Citizen”, which are quite a local superhero, at least against the background of “Guardians”. As a result, "Part 2" on the one hand is a typical sequel, more action, more humor (which sags in places), more acid colors and characters, on the other hand, James Gunn did not blindly copy the first film, there is a completely different approach to both the characters and the already familiar setting, there are simply excellent plot twists that the studio managed to protect and did not put everything in the trailers, I will not say that one of them is directly unexpected but served rather skillfully, the atmosphere has become much more grotesque and crazy, even with the continuation of the original from this incident, you can even hold a much more of the original. The movie is far from perfect, not all jokes are funny, and the disclosure of old acquaintances is not very smooth, the middle sags slightly and the beginning and finale are too fast, the sequel to the smoothness of the first film is still lacking.
By all other parameters, Part 2 is even better than the previous picture, a much more interesting and impressive antagonist, the entertainment has reached a new level, and of course the scale, finally MARVEL has something really cumbersome and epic. It is difficult to unequivocally evaluate “Guardians of the Galaxy 2”, they most strongly reminded me of “Hellboy 2” and oddly enough, the recent “Lego: Batman”, these are also not ideal sequels as for me, but they are easy to love more than the original, here and there is a similar situation, like and scold for something, but there are enough pluses, in any case, not quite trivial approach of Gunn, I even have a radically changed attitude to this franchise, so much “native of Troma” has developed his “space world”, not for nothing the title of the review refers to one of the best films in history.
