First of all, I want to note that the cartoon is beautiful. There are some decent songs that you walk around and hum all day long.
But! What's the point?
At first I really liked that the main character is not another 'Special'. Overall, the first half of the picture was interesting. The fear of not fulfilling the expectations of the parents (parent) was well shown. It was unusual to watch the cartoon raise the theme of tyranny in the family. The character who was a tyrant was not a villain (in the usual sense). Also, the creators perfectly transferred to the cartoon the concept - wrong perception of facts, and long-lasting consequences.
Unfortunately, towards the end, I began to lose the meaning of what was happening. I understood what was planned here, but I didn’t see a logical transition from the conditionally bad behavior of the main antagonist (if this character can be called that) of the cartoon to the conventionally good. I.e. awareness of mistakes and ways of correction. This is literally a couple of minutes of screen time.
Perhaps I’m demanding something beyond a 6+ movie. But, I am used to the fact that Disney puts something more serious and consistent in their creations.
I can't say Encanto is bad, but I can't say he's good either. Very average. The meaning was laid excellent and correct, but the finale spoiled everything, did not last.
So, the beginning occurs when the couple flees from the pogroms of their city, hiding from persecution, finds themselves in the woods, the husband is killed, and the wife is left alone with three babies in her arms. And in this sad moment, magic comes to her, which protects from enemies, builds a magical house.
Nowadays, a community of people has built up near the house who live in peace and harmony, help each other. And the woman turned into an old woman, the mother of a large family Madrigal. She transmits magic to every member of the family, and everyone has some gift.
Here one daughter treats any ailments with cookies, the second daughter controls the weather, one granddaughter is strong, the other is beautiful and creates flowers.
And so the magic begins to break down. The main heroine, who was not endowed with any gift, decides that she must save both magic and home.
She begins to look deeper into every member of the family. And now it turns out that the strong girl is tired of dragging everything on herself. Sometimes she wants to be weak, she wants to rest. Miss Perfect is tired of being perfect, too. She wants to be simple, ordinary, not to deserve love with her beauty and ideal disposition, but to have the right to be angry, upset, be different and choose a partner not as her grandmother said, but to her liking. . .
A girl without gift tries to earn love somehow, but all the bumps fly at her.
These are three typical female archetypes that can be found in our country. Any girl will find herself in one of the three heroines and even shed a tear, sympathizing with her. Everyone cries at different times in the movie.
Guys also have something to see and think about. First, in such a simple form comes the understanding that all women are different. Second, they all want to be themselves and not deserve love, but simply be loved by the fact that they were born. Thirdly, there are male lines. They're not all that sharp and painful. But the theme of the outcast, handsome and just a good family man is present.
In general, a very kind cartoon about family ties, about the mistakes of even wise but blinkered people. About admitting mistakes, about the warmth of hearts.
In the cartoon there is no cruelty, vulgarity. It can definitely be shown to children and adults of different ages, to have a pleasant evening with the whole family in front of the screen. There will be more to discuss.
A very positive and sweet story about the most valuable thing in the life of each person - about the family. Do not compare with 'Fast and Furious'- the sky and the earth in general, from the lips of the cartoon characters this word does not sound so pathetic.
This is not the first time Spanish-speaking characters have won the love of the viewer (' The Secret of Coco' I am still revisiting). These incendiary dances, songs that then spin in the head for a few more days, facial expressions, gestures of the characters - everything is so carefully thought out that the atmosphere of sunny and bright Colombia seeps through the screen.
The Madrigal family is a rather unusual family. In difficult times, magic helped their grandmother Alma - literally ' soul ' and the head of the family, to create a secluded place where everyone could be saved. This is Encanto's place. And now every member of this special family has magical powers, everyone except Mirabelle. But she's not discouraged. She is so simple and optimistic that she immediately falls in love with everyone. Of course, she feels the disappointment of a family that has not lived up to expectations and still hopes to find a way to gain abilities, but, as it turns out, Mirabel is the happiest of all, because she does not have to worry about high expectations from her grandmother and she just lives her life. But it is on her own responsibility to figure out where the magic began to disappear and why their magical home ' Cacita' went cracks.
In this picture, the conflict between generations is a very serious subject, which I never expected from Disney. 'Encanto' carries a powerful message, which is probably why this film has become so popular for family viewing.
The creators also did a good job of overshadowing our stereotypical views of Colombia with colorful landscapes and welcoming characters. This is a real tourist paradise with magnificent nature.
Movie search, return the money (just kidding, skip the review)
He's so average. You know, I don't buy movies very often, but I've decided to do this with a special honor. Such crazy popularity on the Internet, a million arts, the song No se habla de Bruno I knew even without touching fandom, thinking that it is some Spanish tunes, and such an average it turns out. It's like I've been betrayed.
35 Disney writers sat down, watched Puzzle and Beast and didn't understand anything. The Pixar part (0.5%) is the best. This is the idea of “home = family”, “gifts = honesty with yourself” and more. Such parallels are convenient to visually implement, if you know how. But they don't know. The idea is so cardboardly implemented, so empty, so fast, so funny that you don't want to get into it, you don't want to listen to them. All these important topics are a dummy without competent execution, they are not worth a cent when they cannot convince.
What does Titanic have to do with that? Jokes about some series, they do not have TV series, wake up. What a stupid nonsense trying to wave a rattle in my face, as if I were a small child and would fall asleep if you started trying to talk about serious topics.
The songs are terrible. No se habla de Bruno somewhere, but the rest of the Mirabelle had nothing. The rest are just some kind of circus made for a 5-year-old. The songs are poorly written, poorly performed. I don’t have a musical ear, but from the first I wanted to turn off the sound, so it’s hulking, not falling into rhyme, just a shame for Disney. Considering that Raya without songs was good, I am frightened by this conclusion, but I think Disney has forgotten how to make musical cartoons.
Writers don’t care about their work. Characters are cardboard, do what is necessary in the plot, I do not feel in them characters, liveliness, they just go where the pen points. Of course, any character goes where the writer’s pen points, but this is the difference between a quality script and a slag. In a high-quality scenario, you feel like the character is making the decision. In a mediocre work, you feel false, you realize that it was written by a narrow-minded person. Disney diligently shows their difference from each other, but the characters in the work do not make a description, and their actions. Any action? No.
Not only are they cardboard, but they are also stupid to the outrage. Does the gift of seeing the future benefit the family? Really? Is growing flowers good for you? Did the change in appearance bring much benefit to the family? And if they thought it wasn't a gift, it was like a curse, it caused trouble, but damn it, these idiots knew it was a gift, they just freaked out. And also a wagon of idiocy a la lack of motivation, inconsistency with the characters, a deviation from the rule about Bruno in the family, his unremarkable return, disregard for the common problem, a sudden “live happily ever after”, although before that “happily ever after” another series to fix so many characters.
I didn’t see the number of directors and screenwriters before I watched, that would have alerted me. That number of people doing this movie is not normal. These people clearly did not meet each other. The inconsistencies I have enumerated have arisen from a lack of integrity, unity of vision, and commonality of idea. You see, when you're watching something, you don't have to feel like it was done by people, you have to remember it after watching it and be excited. But when you see someone’s hand and pen every minute, you’re looking at something that’s not good.
Everyone has the “most useless waste of money in life.” I got this now, Encanto.
No wonder they say that in “Disney” masterpieces engaged in “Pixar”. Mickey Mouse has enough sources of income, so it is enough for him to produce passing projects. I will not hide, I expected too much from Encanto, in the end, I wanted the same furor, in the likeness of “Coco Mystery”; and the Latin flavor bribed.
About the story. Apparently, the writers did not strain at all. The "white crow" in a family that foresaw danger and no one believes is the key to solving problems; quite original. But even an ordinary idea can be beautifully presented, here the creators decided not to bother. The solution to the conflict took place on its own – there is only one thing to understand and forgive. In addition to the main character, no one is remembered, if not for the songs, the editing would be cut and not noticed.
Speaking of songs. I don’t know who, but since childhood I don’t like songs in cartoons. Not without exception, there are good examples, but not in the case of Encanto. The first track about acquaintance with the Madrigal family is more or less appropriate and pleasant, the rest seem to be created to increase the chronometer. 102 minutes is not serious.
Hope for the Latin American flavor was not justified. In fact, after watching it, I felt like I had been cheated. If it weren’t for “Columbia” at the beginning, I wouldn’t know where it’s going. Don't you care? Replace Colombians with Peruvians, Mexicans, Gypsies, Arabs, anyone and nothing will change. In "The Secret of Coco" everything was built on the tradition of Mexico and much in it referred to the local culture.
What's the result? “Encanto” is a boring cartoon, where everything becomes predictable after the tie-up. I don’t mind making suggestions about the importance of family, but it’s very unexpressive. Because of the clichés and songs, I was tired of watching. Ethnicity does not affect the surroundings, just the current situation obliges to observe the rules of tolerance.
The credit to Disney is earned by “Decades” of work, although the company’s good projects come out less and less often. If this continues, this credit will run out. Is it worth watching Encanto? - No, it is not.

An interesting and sweet story of the magical Madrigal family, which keeps in each of its members enchanting talents. This is a rather unusual Disney project, since it does not have an antagonist, but the whole intrigue lies in family secrets, in the concealment of the truth and in the power of sorcery. Encanto is a place where magic was born, the exposition briefly gives a seed to further represent each person under songs and dances.
The tape impresses with a bright atmosphere, individual characteristics of each person, memorable songs. Attention is paid to disability (within the framework of the cartoon design) and exclusion, and when this happens in the family circle, the genre is able to show the beauty and power of love. In fact, the story touches all the characters, but the main girl Mirabel becomes a link between a dark past and a dangerous future to introduce a light suspense and develop the narrative.
The individual approach of each family member to the magical power does not distinguish the usual viewer epic battles. This is a simple family that uses forces for the family and for the benefit of the people. This cartoon lands all the magic and introduces comedy. From muscular Louise to metamorphic Camilo, we are greeted by friendly and caring company until Mirabel learns the secrets of home. It is very funny to make the villa of the Madrigal family animated, it allows you to beautifully harmonize with the usual household duties, but the toxic attitude to a loved one is accompanied by a pumping suspense.
The bright, loud story acquires a completely different character when the viewer meets the attitude to Mirabel in all its glory: tricks, hamstrings, direct insults. Even during the upcoming holidays, the girl acts as a not too pleasant birthmark, which is better to hide. This approach covers the whole song-fun atmosphere to bring the characters to “clean water”. It is good that dispelled the state of harmony and magic with such a spoonful of tar, as further flashbacks open to the viewer the events of the fateful day for a five-year-old child.
Again, the prophecy is touched, which is covered with mystery and the prohibition on pronouncing the name of the soothsayer. Who-who-can't-be-named! Not the Harry Potter hunt, of course, but the Madrigal family has its own dark affairs. From the individuality of each wizard blows tedious expectation of prediction, which allows you to take up the investigation. Thanks to the peculiarities of the house, you can go on adventures by going to the next room, which at the same time narrowed the locations and gave room for action.
The intrigue keeps to the last until the viewer finds elements hidden from the eye. This approach is very qualitatively harmonizes with the general tone of the family and brings the future closer. Perhaps the writers wanted to make a feature in Mirabel, but then changed their minds and released streams of revelation on the most unforeseen member of the family. The cartoon from abusiveness flows into the inevitability of the future and highlights family values to lead to a wonderful ending.
“Encanto” is a difficult way of an outcast, from which a terrible secret is hidden, only everything is brightly and colorfully veiled. On the other hand, these are constant arguments and accusations based on misunderstandings and hasty conclusions, as well as the lessons of living from the mistakes of the past. A frank approach to everything so different from ordinary life.
Encanto is a fairy tale that makes it very warm. There are no bad characters, no long search for truth, and most importantly, no explanation for miracles, they just exist, and that’s it. Of course, such naivety has two sides.
It would seem that lightness destroys all the juice, we do not worry that everything will be bad, because the cheerful singing family of Madrigal leaves us no space to believe in anything but a happy ending. The finale is seen almost from the very beginning, and the resolution of conflicts is so smooth that you can not even concentrate on their existence.
The main question is whether each painting needs to ask us serious controversial questions. Yes, there's Frozen. It’s really revolutionary in many ways. Watching it, you worry, think, and then you can discuss the ending, the lines of character development and morality for a long time.
But sometimes, when there's doubt deep in your heart, every step is hard to take, and your faith in the future fades, you turn on Encanto. It is a small world where miracles exist. A miracle for everyone and everyone. It is a world in which love is not to be deserved and people are valued simply by their existence.
I think cartoons for that and cartoons, sometimes just to please us, to cause a smile and laughter, and if tears, only joy. Let the miracle does not fall by itself into every house, flowers do not grow out of every brick, and people do not live with each other in harmony, but perhaps if each of us at least sometimes smiles, believing in a fairy tale, the world will become a little kinder?
P. S. I can’t ignore the heavy torrent of accusations against Disney about the sheer number of female characters, especially their skin color. My friends, this is a children's cartoon. There is love, faith in goodness and a call to forgive, to believe in a bright future and to help each other. There are no jokes, propaganda of anything bad and discrimination of any gender. If you're worried about boys, a lot has been written and filmed about our dear male half of the population, and Encanto has not spared them either. Maybe you should relax a little and understand that some “adult” reasoning is not appropriate under the cartoon 6+?

The novelties of animated films at the speed of light are developing in graphics, which, of course, catches even from the first frames of the trailer. All in anticipation decided to keep his nephews busy (and see for yourself what to do here), but... However, something did not stick together.
For some obscure reason, the creators of cartoons have forgotten that the basis of the Great Children's Tale is still an exciting story. With morals and a kind hero who saves everyone, where without it. But in 'Encanto', as in other modern novelties, the creators decided to openly score on the storyline.
I don’t argue, the idea is wonderful: a strong family, each with his own talent, plus national flavor. But I lacked some logic in this, some catchy heroine or something. The father-child relationship is a classic, but at least give it a modern reading. You get tired of watching the main character wring her hands in teenage suffering for almost an hour.
But as far as the songs are concerned (and this is still a musical), everything is wonderful. The soundtrack cuts into memory tightly, playing the soundtrack for at least another week. Dancing, dancing - chic, for a good mood the perfect recipe. Humor is naive in many ways, but it is, thank God.
All in all, kill the evening one time and keep the kids busy, Encanto is fine. And visual, look how good a visual is!
The cartoon is actually wonderful, the message in it is very relevant and useful for any generation.
Family relationships are really important, and this is illustrated by the existence of magic and home. We all understand that in the real world with such a relationship, the family could just fall apart. This is the first meaning of the cartoon.
The second, of course, is the uniqueness of each person. Mirabel shows that just because no one sees something special in you (even if you are yourself), it doesn’t mean you don’t. In addition, the end of the cartoon still reveals her gift, which you yourself can immediately understand.
The only downside is that the cartoon, in my opinion, should have been much longer. Due to the fact that there are so many characters, and the duration is not very distinctive, a huge number of them are practically not disclosed. It's a shame, I would even try to watch this cartoon in two parts.
Only because of the inappropriate for this cartoon duration put
It’s no secret that the Walt Disney studio has long held a kind of “monopoly” in the annual award season. Not only willingly delighting audiences and critics, but also achieving prestigious awards for best animated film of the year in 99.9% of cases. Not only due to the creations of the “subsidiary” studio Pixar, but also their own independent works. This film was no exception and directed by Jared Bush, Byron Howard and Chariz Castro Smith, who has already grabbed the Golden Globe and clearly aims for the Oscars and in my opinion – absolutely deserved.
The plot of this film revolves around the Madrigal family, who live in a magical house hidden in the mountains of Colombia, located in a wonderful corner called Encanto. Every child in the Madrigal family was blessed with a unique gift. Alas, magic bypassed only the young Mirabel. Discovering that Encanto’s magic is in danger, Mirabel decides that it may be her last hope of saving her family and home.
The authors of this tape came up with a very easy and really interesting story, which easily keeps the attention on the final credits. Similar to “The Secret of Coco” and other works of the studio, the authors of “Encanto” again drawing on the screen another fairy tale explore the institution of the family. Speaking willingly about the fact that money, success and other benefits are not eternal and only family and loved ones are next to you not only in your best, but also in your worst days, which means that there is nothing more important than family ties and more valuable than warm relationships between relatives and loved ones. Moreover, similar to the sequel to “Frozen”, again proving that for a worthy story and screen “conflict”, it is not necessary to have some villain in the flesh.
The directorial team of Jared Bush, Byron Howard and Chariza Castro Smith created a very light, positive, light and magical animated film that easily charges these most bright and positive emotions when watching. Especially successful stunningly staged musical numbers to the luxurious music of the duo Jermaine Franco and Lin-Manuel Miranda. Moreover, all this is gracefully filled with a certain Colombian flavor in the best traditions of Moana, Coco and other animated studies of the culture of other countries from the “mouse studio”. A separate mention deserves stunning animation, which I can safely call one of the best I have ever seen.
10 out of 10
Encanto is another stunning animated work from Walt Disney Studios, which can be safely called not only one of the best films of the year, but for the past few years for sure. The authors of this film created a very bright, light, bright and soulful film with incendiary songs, stunning animation and a very subtle morality that there is nothing more important and valuable than family ties.
When I saw that this cartoon goes to theaters, I thought it was another children’s film, with many songs and tearing goodness and love. In a way, I was right, but not in general!
Encanto. A cartoon about the Madrigal family in which each child receives his gift. But, alas, the heroine - Mirabelle, who is with us throughout the film - did not get her ability. Upon learning that the magic of this city is in danger, Mirabel decides that she may be the hope of saving the family.
When I was younger, I loved Frozen, Moana, and similar cartoons. I loved their songs. But now I catch a real "krinjatina" when every five minutes, the hero begins to sing. Some of it makes sense, but this song can take longer than three minutes. So, I tried to squander those moments, and to some extent, we lost the precious minutes of the film. Don't get me wrong! The songs here are very beautiful! I mean, it's a musical.
All right, characters! That is the part I want to talk about: 1. Bruno. The brother of the main character's mother and her aunt. Bruno was the youngest of the family. Everyone thought he was domineering and evil, but in fact he was just another paranoid. It would be interesting if they made a real outcast out of him, as Grandma Mirabelle used to say. Overall, he's a fun guy. But that's not how I imagined him. Wouldn't it be a "denouement" to the plot? 2. Grandmother Mirabelle. Smart woman. She keeps the house on her own. Calms the people, keeps order. But to her granddaughter - she is more - "neutral?" that is, she somehow did not show love for her. Only as a child, before she was ready to receive the gift. 3. Louise. In the cartoon decided to add a body-positive girl. Her gift is power. I have nothing against it, it is even interesting. You know, I would write for a long time, so I do not want to torment anyone - and I come to the conclusion:
The cartoon teaches kindness, as in all typical Disney works. The kids will love it. There are bright characters, beautiful locations and in principle a good plot. But we've seen this before. .
I have loved Disney, I love Disney and I will always love Disney. I look forward to every new cartoon, regardless of my age or the quality of the previous ones. Encanto was no exception.
The cartoon left behind an ambiguous impression: everything seems to be as always, but still there is no previous feeling of satisfaction from watching. On everything in order, let's start with the pluses:
1. Disney has confidently taken a course away from the classic fabulous scenery a la medieval Europe and continues to explore new shores. This time, the choice of writers fell on Colombia, which could potentially bring us a beautiful picture of wild forests and local color. I didn’t get it, but thanks for trying.
2. In an age of achievement and positive thinking, it’s fun to look at cartoons and recognize yourself in some of them. It’s great that someone finally said you can’t drag everything around and 100% of life is in a great mood.
3. Songs. Sorry, I have a weakness for Disney songs. Especially if it’s done in a Latin American way. Fun, rhythmic, stuck in the brain for a long time.
4. I liked the general message: it's not your gift that matters, it's you. I think it would have resonated with a lot of people if it had been revealed a little bit better.
Let's move on to the minuses:
1. Columbia Schrödinger. She's kind of there, but she's not. We never saw the woods or the color. The most Colombian is the family name of Madrigal. All the action of the cartoon takes place inside their house, the heroes almost never get out of it. I wanted as in the “Mystery of Coco” – more entourage, but alas...
2. You may not even look for an antagonist here. Because of this, the whole action seems sluggish and a little protracted. This cartoon is not about escape, chase and adventure. Depends, of course, on your expectations, but I wanted a little more action.
3. The end causes some bewilderment: was she gifted or not? What's the longer with magic? Why did everything happen the way it did? Let me remind you that this is still a cartoon, which assumes a young audience, which, in my understanding, should be stated as clearly as possible.
Overall impression: slightly above average. I will review it again, but not soon. He is not on the list of favorites.
This movie was recommended to me by a friend. He said there were a lot of good songs.
And it's true - the musical part is amazing. Only one of the songs didn't make my playlist, heh. It’s funny that the two most interesting songs for me sound better in Russian than in the original. If you do not like any of the songs in Russian, then I advise you to try the original to listen - very cool. And Colombian songs in general are an explosion of everything - it's been a long time since I got so high from Latin music!
I was very pleased with the Russian voiceover - I watched in both versions (domestic and original English), it was ours that seemed the most suitable (except for some songs - well, not the singer Todorenko, well, what can you do).
The animation is great. That's really cool. Very elaborate - you can see the hand of a huge animation company. Everything is colorful and rich - but this is also done for children, look for boring colors in adult films. It is a pleasure to watch.
During the viewing I found a lot of interesting Easter eggs and small details that can appeal to the adult audience (like me, for example), because they refer to the scene of the cartoon or show the characters.
Let’s move on to the story – it’s pretty sad. If you think about some moments that are an important plot component, you can understand that the creators did not really soar over the study and pasted the plot patches on each other - it turned out to be a funny composition, but with holes and incomprehensible overlays. Think for yourself about a couple of prophecies Bruno (and find one predicted unfulfilled (shou?... but really)) and about the incomprehensible relationship in the family, which from the incomprehensible arisen dislike (la, sister - the weather lord, by the way - suffered from the promise(!) of rain (!!!), seriously?) to one character sharply grow into a great family love (oh, brother, we didn't even want to mention you here, but then we saw, flowed and everything, the heart opened specially for you, come in) - I personally think about it, why the girl did not fall in love there, for the sake of the sake of this room, 39, why did I go back to think about it, for the sake of the sake of my son, I think about it, why did not think about it, I think about it, I think about it, I think about it, why did not fall back, I think about it, I think about it, and why did not think about it, I think about it, I think about it, why did not think about it, why did not get It spoils the whole impression of the cartoon - they made Easter eggs and small details, and a huge bolt was scored on the plot. From this and about the characters, one can say only one thing - undeveloped. Remembered, but not worked out, and their actions in most cases are illogical.
Total:
The plot is purely for its existence 1, for the right family ending 1... and everything, 2 out of 10, is very bad. Absolutely did not deserve anything, all leaky, straight openwork.
The voiceover is excellent, I am not sorry 10 out of 10.
Music - all songs are good. But in the Russian voice acting is not as musical as in the original (the cartoon is a musical, it is important musical, not famous actors), and in the original personally I did not like the performance of the two most moving songs (the highlights of this picture). So proud 7 out of 10
Animation - very high-quality, generously put 10 out of 10, excellent visual
Characters - refer to the item about the plot. I didn’t even like the main character very much. And the rest of them are. 2 out of 10.
The Easter eggs and the atmosphere are cool, I like the amount of small details drawn. But without the plot elaboration, all the details are purely for a beautiful picture. 7 out of 10.
Well, it turns out 6 out of 10 - it is worth watching without thinking, purely for the sake of the picture and really cool songs.
(In general, I am struck by some strange reviews: guys, you are adults, and as children shout about ' deflections' and so on.) This cartoon is for children. And we need a lot more kids to see characters that look like themselves in cartoons -- you know, there are kids in South America who watch cartoons, too. I do not understand the claims to the number of strong women at all - after the Great Russian peasants in the USSR it was not enough, and a lot of families were raised by women. Please shout into the historical facts that there are few men and you want more. If you want more strong white men, pump up, beat yourself up, build your strong white families, and create or fully finance strong white man cartoons for you strong white men.
I’ve been following the entire Disney universe for a long time, before, I thought, the basis of the film adaptation was Princesses who will always have a happy ending to the story. At the moment, I see cartoons in which you can immediately see the problems of personality.
Yes, we can take Tiana, who has ' only purpose' or Mulan' who is this girl' all these inner problems are hidden behind a love story and adventure.
In this animation, I see a direct problem of the main character: indecision, lack of significance for the family, judgment at every step.
What did the story give us? Lots of songs (they're nice to listen to, but they take a decent amount of time).
The classic gossip roommate (at first, she was a liking to me, but once she spread the word about Bruno, the positive opinion was gone).
My grandma, who has little to say, has nothing to say.
Thank you for the parents who were the only ones who supported the girl. Hysteria with a cloud over your head (as if it were the kind of modern woman in an emotional situation)
Where are the men? Why are they just in the background? What feminism? Even their ' magic' either scares everyone, or does not play much benefit.
Summing up, I want to say that the picture is beautiful, and the message is not quite successful. A background cartoon for cleaning will do. There is nothing useful to understand.
Well, I'm giving you the cards. I really love Walt Disney Studios. It doesn’t matter what age I am in the future. I will still be watching her as she continues to raise pressing issues in our world. But I honestly did not expect that in this cartoon I would sit, watch, and not sit quietly and enjoy it, no matter what it was, but sit and resent what is happening on the screen. I’ll tell you right away, for me Moana, Raya and the Last Dragon, and Encanto is a Triad that’s similar. For example, animation (yes, I know, Encanto is slightly different, but not the point). “Moana” (for me) is a kind of meditation, in which there was no real villain who would try to stop the main characters, and it was interesting to watch the main characters themselves, but somewhere it is boring for me, as for most. But he's pretty good. Raya and the Last Dragon is better than Moana. There were real villains, cheerful games of cat and mouse, etc. The story/scenario is a bit lame, but I really liked it. And here's "Encanto."
First of all, when I saw the teaser and the trader for this cartoon, I really wanted to like it. I wanted to see a really interesting and exciting story, but I didn't see it. I respect everyone's opinion. Subjective opinion has not been abolished. And here's my subjective opinion - the cartoon "Encanto" is terrible!
And I'll tell you why.
First, of course, with the pluses that there are, and they are quite weighty. Firstly, this cartoon is well staged. It has its own story, its own development, not like Moana and Paradise and the Last Dragon, when their narrative was almost identical. That's right. The main character or the main character tells the story of her people or country, and once in ancient times there lived a special person who either saved everyone, or only made worse. And after the past events, in the present time, according to a combination of unpleasant circumstances in her family / people, the main character goes in search of her, finds her and then realizes that she is not so simple. This personality has its own traits, its own secrets, from which the main character may not be delighted. But in the end, they save everyone. And everyone's happy. What's not in Encanto? It's a little different. Second, animation. She's very beautiful here. It certainly can’t boast of the graphics of Moana (it was just gorgeous), but it’s colorful, which should be in cartoons of our time, and not in movies like in the movie “Jungle Cruise”, where my eyes were not burned alive. And third, and most importantly, the message. He's just great here. It’s that no matter if you’re unique or not, just be yourself and don’t listen to what others say. That, I confess, applies to me. I am ready to sing praises and live with this, one might say, motto.
But that's it, the pluses end... Now what just pissed me off in this cartoon is the bullying of the main character Mirabel. Yeah, bullying, because I can't say otherwise. Mirabel is really pathetic when not only ordinary residents tell her right in her face that she is hopeless, but also almost all members of her family rejected that I was pretty mad at watching this cartoon. The only people who really wanted to help Mirabel were her parents. They really wanted to help her, they supported her. But Mirabel herself in the cartoon is interesting in the sense that: “How do you tolerate this?” I would have left this family a long time ago! And her actions in the cartoon are also not thought out. Yes, not only that ill-conceived, so also insolently acts, trying ineptly to pretend that nothing is happening, which is also infuriating. And there's no development. She doesn't change. What was, and remained at the end of the story.
And yes, know who the real scumbag in the cartoon is - Grandma Mirabel! No, really, I've never seen such a bastard anywhere in Disney movies. She told the whole family how nothing Mirabel is. It is an empty place, and it is a pity that she is even among us. Oh, my God. ..
Not only that in the cartoon itself, but also I like the slogan itself: “Everyone in this family is unique.” Except Mirabel. What the hell is that? It turns out that the creators themselves tell us that she is an outcast, a white crow, nothingness and a lot of other no less pleasant words about her. It's a nightmare.
Yes, this slogan should be in the form of intrigue, but what I was shown, I understand that Mirabel we must hate. But no, I'm just sympathetic to her after all this nightmare. I really feel sorry for her.
And if all these terrible disadvantages are simply removed, then this cartoon is simply boring to watch. Moana was also boring to watch, but at least there was something in the form of events and the heroine herself. There's nothing in Encanto. “You are nothing, we hate you, and my eyes will not see you.” Pff...
I wouldn’t dare to advise the children of the movie. No, not because they can also understand that Mirabel is like them, and they may be offended, but that children in our big world are spoiled, and after watching this cartoon they will psychologically take it as a claw and will also harshly mock those who are bullied, and friends will call for such “fun”.
In general, for me, the cartoon turned out to be lousy, and I am unlikely to return to it again.
But at the same time, I will not forget about his positive key – the message. Because the trick is not to be unique, but to be yourself. For the rest of your life.

The film is not for everyone and not for everyone.
At the first viewing, of course, bright stylish, sometimes powerful animation catches the eye, but in its most vivid manifestation, we see a banal plot, an exhaustive story. . .
The girl from the family offended by the attention that she lacks due to the lack of magical skills, and not understanding her relatives, tries to assert herself... and it’s not even that they are absent, it’s that the girl herself is a rebel and does not want to put up with this and apparently evil on the whole world, which does not accept her, and surrounds her in reality, starting from not quite intelligible parents, ending with a very good grandmother, on the one hand, antagonist with principles, on the other hand, the absolute authority in the life of the girl, and yet the problem arises as a new family, I do not think about it is a beautiful family...

I don't know, but I wasn't thrilled with this cartoon. This is a standard Disney product designed for 6+ children. Everything here is beautiful and juicy, but it does not make you smile. The moral is simple: “Man wants to change, he does not want to live constantly in his created images.” People change, the magic house changes. Mirabel (voiced by Todarenko) is without a magical gift, but her leadership skills will help her family in trouble. A magical house is a house where the whole family eats at a shared table, where secrets are shared. In this cartoon, a lot of attention is paid to the family, the general interests of the family. What trouble awaits this family? People get tired of being perfect all the time. People want to change. People (even with a magical gift) sometimes want to bully and indulge.
Cartoon of true 4K quality. Disney showed a high school dubbing. The cartoon has tolerance brought from Latin America (Colombia). Even the cartoon was created by 3 directors: Bush, Howard, Castro Smith. In the cartoon there is tolerance, emancipation, the magic of a big family. Mirabel is the first to realize that something is wrong in the family. Can she unravel the mystery of prophecy and the magic house? We'll find out by watching the cartoon to the end. I was not enthusiastic about this project. There was something I lacked to complete satisfaction. Can a full family be the real magic? Having a full family at one table is magic.
The director of the dub, Pirogova, did a good job. I'll give her 5 plus. It's gorgeous. But it turned out to be something cold (without a light). The girl leader is why the future is at Disney.
There's magic in the cartoon. When you are loved by your family, that is human magic. Love for children, for mothers and fathers, for grandmothers is a real magic.
An idea is the only good thing in a cartoon. A family that lives in a magical house and has super powers.
Music - there are many songs, sometimes even too, they are not bad, just no.
The animation is average and nothing more. The cartoon clearly saved. This is noticeable on facial animations – for example, when characters actively make faces, but this affects only the face, but not the head as a whole. In addition, the cartoon uses the same shots twice, to display the same scene, you will not draw it differently, do not just do as in the TV series to remind what we talked about 40 minutes ago.
And now two of the biggest problems of the cartoon.
The plot is banal, predictable, does not cause interest. Story holes are noticeable immediately during viewing, not after it. The feeling that most of the characters are added just for extras, in the story they hang some one function to push the plot at the right time.
Why is everything happening now, if the problem is long overdue?
Why does a house that understands everything explain nothing?
Why is this family so important in general, when exactly 2.5 of its members benefit the local village?
No answers.
Characters - the motivation for their actions or lack thereof is not clear. Why are they doing this? Why are they doing this right now? Why hasn’t the situation been resolved until now, even though the problem was so acute?
At the beginning, they say that one of the relatives should be kept away, then it turns out that they knew where he was hiding all this time (and why were they silent?), and then they say ' Yes, we always loved him' - with the same people who forbade mentioning his name. The relationship between the characters changes when the plot needs it, and not due to any events and changes within the character.
Just a waste of time.
Do you want a good cartoon about family problems and finding your place? See the old 'Mulan'
The story of the Madrigal family is about parents who, through suffering, pain and tears, tear themselves away from their past for the sake of their children, and about children who live their whole lives by the expectations of these parents. All this, of course, in a beautiful magical wrapper.
On the one hand, the film tells the story of Mirabelle, who received no magical gift, unlike the whole family, and throughout the film she and her family learn to accept her for who she is.
On the other hand, we learn about the suffering of all family members. Luisa personifies the older sister, who takes on all the difficulties - as in many families without parents, older sisters often and without question take on the role of mother and father, and does not give themselves a minute of rest (think sister Lilo, from Lilo and Stitch). Isabella tells the story of the perfect child, who is not seen through talent or gift; such children are often unhappy, because to others they are just a trophy, not useful. Mirabelle, on the contrary, will never be as talented, beautiful or successful as her sisters.
Grandmother Alma is the head of a family who has gone through unimaginable suffering, having lost her husband and home, and having received a second chance at the happiness of her children, of course, is afraid of losing him. She struggles with all her strength for life, even when everything is already well, not noticing that her children are suffering.
The film shows that all family members have their own reasons for being what they have become, and only understanding and acceptance can not divide the family.
It seemed to me that the film lacked intermediate scenes and it went too quickly, from conflict to reconciliation, it was only necessary to blink. But it's a movie for kids, of course. It was very nice to see not a homogeneous mass, but a real mix of different faces, against the background of new music and new traditions. This is probably my favorite trend at Disney. This is interesting and new, although people without interest in life and without imagination, of course, will not appreciate this.
However, he has a very deep message: he realizes that families are never perfect, but everyone has a chance at reconciliation if we are willing to listen and sincerely empathize with each other.

Nothing new, the banal plot of the cartoon that was spent.
The whole film is dancing, dancing, fun, the characters are not revealed in any way, except for the main character, we are told a little about the rest so that we are aware that they are not just a log, but a person.
Children will not sing these songs, they do not work, it looks stupid. the cartoon takes 102 minutes, and it feels like 30 minutes.
In the center of the plot is a white crow, which turns out to be the most amazing, and where we have seen this, there has never been such a thing.
Lorax once came out, much better than that piece of clay. But Lorax did not go to critics, not a typical plot.
Why did no one notice that Bruno was stealing food, there was such an uncle, turned out to be bad, everyone left him, he left, the situation is normal, like a friendly family, after so many years, no one noticed that he lives in the walls of the house.
Oh, how this movie failed trailers. Personally, they caused almost nausea and a feeling of terrible secondaryness. Another national story, which Disney recently very often burned, just trying to make a little more in the country of rental, and another & #39; I want more & #39; heroine. Plus for the trailer selected only too confused ' carnival ' moments that overpowered the idea of the cartoon exclusively for the hipperactive baby, where every 30 seconds there will be something to sing, bright colors and dull gags shipped in cars that may appeal to young children, but any person a little older will cause only epilepsy.
I went only because of the songs of Lin-Manuel Miranda, whose work I admire. And then he did not fail, but if otherwise in terms of songs I expected and could not, the overall coolness of the plot, characters and the whole cartoon was a very pleasant surprise.
The best and at the same time ambiguous part of the film I can name the characters. On the one hand, there are 4-5 personalities in the family that are central to the plot: their characters, the difficulties they face, how they react to it – all this is worked out just perfectly. You believe these characters, you find in their different sides a reflection of yourself and a reflection of your life. I risk calling them some of the most lively characters Disney has ever created.
But the rest of the characters look more extras, with a minimal number of replicas and a very third-rate or virtually absent own line.
As if this film was originally created as a series, but then they decided to hastily remake it into a 1.5-hour film and much went under the knife.
Or just Disney insisted on more characters to sell toys, but it is normal to build them into the plot already did not have time. Separately, I want to note that the central conflict turned out to be very lively and realistic.
I hope it is not too spoiler to say that there is no classic evil villain doing evil because of his malice.
There are only 2 sides - two views on everything that is happening, whose unspoken confrontation and moves the story. And if at first I thought that the position of the right/guilty here was obvious, then the more I immersed myself, the more I thought about it, the more it turned out that everything here is not so simple and trivial.
And this seems to be the most important measure of the quality of any work of art: if it leaves such a trace in your soul and memory that you want to analyze it, think about it, change your position regarding certain things.
If you watched last year’s animated film “Soul” from the company Pixar, then the plot of the new Disney “Encanto” will probably seem familiar to you. In Soul, it was about finding a purpose that everyone had except one soul. In Encanto, we are talking about a magical family, where everyone has talents except one of the girls named Mirabel.
But if “Soul” persuaded the audience to individualism, and also to the idea that the purpose is not the main thing, but much more important just to live and enjoy, then the authors of “Encanto” draw a different conclusion. The main thing is family, be together and build something together.
It is important to know in advance that Encanto is a musical. Therefore, it makes sense to watch it only in the official translation or in the original - the fact is that poor-quality voice acting simply kills this cartoon.
The song family lives in fantasy Colombia. They cut themselves off from the world and created their own village. But in the basements of the village there is a secret that is about to come out. And only the devoid of the gift Mirabel can figure out how to save the magical house and unite her family even more.
By the way, in addition to family members, there is another actor - the house itself called Casita, a caressing form formed from the Spanish word casa, which translates as a house. Kasita leads its residents, she can collect and dismantle the stairs and push the inhabitants of the magical house in the right direction with the help of tiles on the floor.
Unlike Pixar, whose ideas would be quite suitable for feature films, Disney writers, although they try to present the material gently, but at the same time push the audience to unambiguous conclusions, just like Kasita. Even if the family is at odds – do not break up relations, build a common house, here you will be understood best. There is no room for reflection in this film, but there are some beautiful songs. In general, adults - "Soul", children - "Encanto".
The cartoon is bright, colorful and very dynamic, but behind all these bright colors hides ugly meanings.
1. It's all feminism. After watching the cartoon, you will not remember any bright male characters. Well, maybe with the exception of Uncle Bruno, an unwashed nutcase who has the gift of foresight and it brings misfortune to everyone. He is so unkind to the whole family that he is banished and his name is forbidden to be mentioned. And the others? For the most part, they do not have the gift and appear only in order to show the contrast ' positive ' qualities of women.
The head of the family is also a woman. Her husband died in a strange way and his death for the sake of his family is such an important act that it is glimpsed and you will hardly even understand that he is depicted in one of the paintings in the house. And his name is... What's his name? Here we go. All girls. Cheerful, strong, beautiful, subpositive, all so straight ' Ah' More precisely 'oh-oh-oh'.
2. Undermining family values. Yes, the word ' family' here sounds from each iron, and ' for the benefit of the family' - the main motto. But what goes through the thin red thread? That all this effort for the good of the family destroys the family and the home. That the strict demands of the grandmother are the main threat to the welfare of all members of this family. And then there is a small, dull-eyed squirrel, who without a comb and without knowledge must gain power in the family in order to save magic & #39; And what she suggests is not to work, not to try, to live as you want, to lie in a hammock, not to overwork, to bring chaos, because ' so requires the inner gut' - and then everyone will be happy. And oh miracle - that's what is shown as 'happie '. The family from the support of the whole community is waiting to turn into lazy freeloaders with magic. What's the next step?
3. Flippers. I mean, the negative qualities of the characters are shown as positive. The hysteria of one of the mothers is like a cloud over your head. Her sister's power is only as 'love'. But what caught my eye the most was the little gossip girl. This is even shown as 'dar' - the ability to eavesdrop on everything and report to everyone.
In general, the cartoon is very ambiguous. Yes, bright, colorful, with a good story. What did he teach the younger generation? We stopped thinking about it, seeing movies and cartoons as entertainment. Aren't we too relaxed? After all, people who read ' How steel was hardened' and people who prefer ' entertainment books' differ in character and, accordingly, in fate. . .
Disney continued a series of beautiful animated cartoons on very deep themes. Encanto is imbued with goodness, moral values and deep meaning. If we talk about the songs that sounded in this cartoon, there are no words. These are beautiful songs that sound amazing both in Russian dubbing and in the original. But one thing that really spoiled the impression of the cartoon is the lack of any memorable plot. There is no that ' action' Disney cartoons. In fact, all events revolve in one or two days and in the same place. They were fine, then it got a little worse, and then it got great again. That's the story. There was no villain to fight, no meaningful change in the final, none of that. But I note that the cartoon is a children's, and the children, in fact, he came. But as for watching for adults, the cartoon is one time and no more.
It’s no surprise that Disney is capable of creating masterpieces, and they continue to strive to make these films come to life. Disney succeeded in bringing culture to their films, and they again managed to reveal the noble themes that accompany the cartoon.
Encanto is all about family, and the cartoon works hard to show that essence in the form of family dinners, helping society and trying to penetrate deeper into dark corners that we could all hide. This is a great idea of how a family is created. At dinner, there is communication, acquaintance with animals and plants, famous in the South American jungle. Musical numbers bring the fervor and fire of dances that try to add a bit of South American 'dance spice' and it works fantastically. Soon, myths begin to seep into other elements and bring with them a grandiose display of values and nuances. The result is a cozy and hospitable cartoon that will appeal to both children and adults. The cartoon will encourage families to dive a little deeper into the cultural heritage of their families.
The central place of action in the cartoon is the magical house - Kasita. You might think the house isn’t the most impressive set, but you’ll be surprised at how well the studio has used this enchanted villa in its history. Firstly, the atmosphere of the house, a large-scale demonstration of cultural architecture. Eventually, the house turns into an obstacle course to find the keys to saving magic when dark parts of the house appear. And then the house becomes a real character, an anthropomorphized obstacle, who has his own means to complement the story as he protects and encloses the family in his touching embrace. In a comical manner, the house swings and weaves its own dance, possessing a very funny character, although he never says a word to the characters he helps on a daily basis. The house was a fantastic piece of work that put everything together, and for me one of the biggest Disney elements of the movie.
I really liked that Mirabelle wasn’t a superhero, but she did her best to unravel the mysteries. This film makes you feel attached to your own family.
Encanto is more of an immersion in the battlefield of human emotions and life’s adversity. As cool as it is, it still lacks the adventure theme, lacks those mind-blowing creatures and myths that must conquer our heroine. The mystery wasn’t really that deep or complicated, and trying to find answers was a little easier and quicker than I expected.
Encanto is a very fun film, with the heart and soul of Latin American culture and the values they hold. The animation and design are top-notch, as always with Disney, and I loved the energy put into the various scenes of the film. This house was a brilliant, multi-dimensional tool that achieved so much and enabled the integration of many things in a short period of time. The film's music is certainly the climax and fills most of the film, forcing you to dance in your seat. Unfortunately, the film has too many characters and too little time to integrate each character at the right time for it to make a difference to the story.
I’ll tell you right away, I’m biased, I watched the trailer and I didn’t like it. The first impression, perhaps, is about another story of the wonderful stamping machine named after Walt Disney. I was pleasantly surprised.
The cartoon immediately throws into the atmosphere of bright colors, magical mystery and dynamic music. The atmosphere of Latin America keeps to the end, everything so juicy, colorful, in bright yellow tones.
The animation is very pleasant to the eye, you can see that the picture was directly worked on. I’m also pretty sure that a couple of songs will make it to the top for at least a month, because the songs aren’t bad and are pretty dynamic.
About the characters of the cartoon can say almost nothing. Yes, they are all bright colorful, but with the exception of the heroine and her grandmother about the rest, you can say literally two sentences no more. Although the message from the cartoon is not bad. In this format it is original for Disney.
Because usually the studio tells about the confrontation or society as a whole, or implies that the characters have some growth over themselves. At the same time, it is said about opposing not stereotypes, but primarily your family, the closest people with whom you will live your whole life. In this regard, the cartoon plays into the hands of his cameramanship. We are literally told that the heroes cannot go beyond this city, because they are surrounded by mountains and a river. It is such a small world of its own within a larger world, as well as the rooms of the heroes inside the house. We are told how the heroes have to break themselves and leave, so that this small world does not fall apart, which makes the situation in the family clearly not healthy. They talk about how everyone tries to meet their expectations in order to be useful to the family and how a person is lost behind this.
Also, the message is original because the heroine does not need to overcome any thresholds in herself, she needs to help others overcome these thresholds, and even if we see this quite clearly only in the example of Rosalie, but she also kind of helps others.
As a result of the review, I can say that the cartoon is normal. Children 8 times a month will not be bored. From what I remember it is a lot of yellow color, beautiful animation skirts, a cool reference to the candle as a family comfort helping a person to reveal talent and dynamic songs. Everything.
Of course, you can bring him to his child, but it is better not to
That Disney is a big money printing machine, I don't think anyone needs to be told. But sometimes with the help of talented directors, screenwriters and animators, this machine produces good cartoons and films. And 'encanto' - not this case.
The essence of the cartoon is simple: there is a family living in a large beautiful house in a closed community. This family is elite, none of its members work on the land (this is in a village in the mountains, where every family earns food by manual labor, well, with the exception of members of the Madrigal family). Why aren't any of them working? And because each of them has a magical gift that they use for the benefit of the whole community (I wonder how the ability to change appearance or grow flowers or have a fine hearing should help others). For the use of these magical powers (or perhaps just out of fear), the community feeds them all, clothes them, and provides them with the necessities. There is a scene at the beginning of the cartoon when the main character is brought a heap of gifts simply because she is from the Madrigal family. This scene is quite revealing. Yes, some family members really help others, the mother of the main character treats, and the cousin can lift and bear weights, but most of this family is parasitic on the surrounding community. At the head of the circus is an authoritarian and demanding grandmother. They quietly eat all family members and maintain the appearance of well-being, while the family cracks at the seams, both figuratively and literally.
E
You think that's it? No, there is also the main heroine, who has no gift, and whom everyone around her directly says that she is completely useless (except for her mother - the one who treats people and really brings benefits to others). The whole cartoon we watch as a rather young character wiped his legs, and she endures, tolerates, endures. And this is not a story about Mulan or Moan, where the character had a place in the family and in society, it just did not suit the heroine. This is literally a story about a girl who wants to get rid of from the family, because she is very disturbing, and who puts up with it. This ' be patient, be silent, try not to stick out'.
What development does this character get? Not at all.
Is there anything good in the movie? Yes, there is. Two female storylines are pretty good (I won’t spoil it), but the feminist agenda sticks out with long ears, a short child won’t understand, and it’s too late to explain these things to adults.
I would not show children, and adults will be bored. Well, what did you want? To shoot ' Gone by Ghosts' which is interesting to watch all, you need to invest in the cartoon soul, mind and a good plot. Disney is increasingly failing to do so.
It's funny that 'Disney' pulled on the color of different countries. This year, the cartoon 'Luka' from the studio 'Pixar' (although after the merger of the companies it is almost synonymous), which told us about the secret of boys living in Italy. Now the line has reached 'Encanto' where the setting was chosen fantastic version of Colombia. The trailer looked pretty interesting. It is a pity that the cartoon is shown at such a bad time: in November and December there are a lot of interesting premieres. Because of this factor, many viewers are at risk of missing 'Encanto', and a pity... There's a lot to see here.
The plot. Young Mirabel is very worried because she has no magical gift. And it can be understood: absolutely every member of her family has some ability that helps in life and in everyday life. Ironically, this girl may be the last hope for the salvation of the entire Madrigal family. ..
A fairly standard story is designed mainly for children. The authors try to add mystery and mystery, but in the end it all boils down to banal misunderstandings in the family. Cartoon reveals characters well through dialogue and closer to the middle tries to push the idea that family is the main wealth ... and all that. Simple and simple, but how cute and easy these thoughts of the creators are transmitted through the screen. Here even enemies are shown through some abstract concepts: there are some armed evil people who dislike the family for something. Perhaps the filmmakers used cultural references.
Atmosphere. From the very first minutes, the viewer is immersed in a magical atmosphere. Pleasant graphics and animation work real miracles: the look literally sticks to the screen and requires an addition. Unfortunately, we will be shown a very small number of locations, and all of them will be close to the house. But the authors managed to fill the cartoon not only competent interactions between the characters, but also local adventures that are designed to help the viewer not to be distracted by the minor shortcomings of the tape. There are some good jokes, but most of them are designed for children’s ears. And the emphasis here is not on the comedic component.
Music.Expression! This is what distinguishes local musical scenes from those in other cartoons. All of them differ significantly, but almost all of the episodes help to better understand the characters of the Madrigal family. Most of all, I liked the very first musical moment in which Mirabel briefly talks about all the relatives.
Result. A great cartoon that teaches kindness and mutual understanding. Be sure to watch it in the coming days if you find time for it.

(75%), remember that a little bit of magic is inside us all.
P.S.'Away from the tree' - another short masterpiece shown before the beginning of the cartoon.
P.P.S. Congratulations again. Anniversary 400th review again fell on the Disney cartoon.
Without skill, of course, it is difficult especially when others begin to confuse you, to stuff your beliefs, to tell you how to live. We created everything around us: our home, our family, our way and even a magic candle was once created by someone. You see, the process of creation itself works in several directions: creation, preservation, destruction. It is a choice to create something, like a family, to preserve it or to destroy it. And as Disney shows, destruction is also good, down with the old, outdated rules, down with the misconceptions of the older generation, let’s build everything again, but more qualitatively, more positively.
The idea of the cartoon is interesting, but still the story is quite raw. Everything is crumpled, either because a new song begins every five minutes (this is Disney), and in the interval the characters do not say anything significant, either because everything happens in one place, in one house, or because there is no special clarity in any character or everything happens too quickly, or maybe we are tired of family squabbles and the search for the guilty. One thing is clear, this time Disney has not told us anything new.
About the lucky ones, about those characters who got a magical gift, we can say that the stars also cry. The backstage main character with despair, but with a fake smile on her lips, convinces herself that being normal is good. This is the scourge of our time. Everyone wants to stand out in order to make money quickly or to cover up the gaps in their personality – the lack of virtues. In the end, he finds himself like any reasonable person. She understands that everything rests on her, on the golden middle, on the norm, on creation. It knows how to do what others use, transmits the process of creation through itself to others, as the sun transmits its light to all living and non-living.
In principle, everything is simple, but not exciting. Sluggish script, sluggish characters, many of them are not at all clear what they are for. One of the sisters has a particularly subtle hearing, and can hear you from a distance or through walls. However, her ability was beaten only once, and even then without benefit to the plot. She walks, headphones and spreads secrets. A boy who easily changes his form is not clear why he is here to illustrate another song. Neurasthenic, possessing the weather, along the way was invented to amuse the audience. Um, I felt sorry for her. To walk constantly wet or frozen, what is funny?
The script saved, in the end it turned out to some extent sweet, motley, with meaning, but for once.
A wonderful, bright, stunningly beautiful cartoon for children and adults. A bright, sunny tale about family, friendship and faith in a dream. This is the most important thing to do in December.
In the small town of Encanto in the mountains of Colombia lives an unusual family of Madrigal. Each of them has an amazing gift – magic. Someone knows how to predict the weather, someone bakes cakes that can heal from any disease. And that's not all. Louise, for example, is a strongwoman who can move a stone house, and Isabel can turn everything around her into beautiful roses. The abilities of the Madrigal family are the key to the success of all residents of the town.
And therefore the head of the family grandmother Abuela closely follows the symbol of the magical gift of her family - an unquenchable candle.
There is another amazing girl in the house - young Mirabel. What is surprising is the lack of any gift. Mirabelle is ordinary. He can't get over it.
Life flows in its cheerful stream, but one terrible day the magic begins to collapse, and the reason for this is unknown to any of the family members.
Except for the mysterious Uncle Bruno, who disappeared years ago. Mirabel decides to understand this mysterious story and save his family.
I liked everything about this story. The plot is simple, but it is also designed for young children. So there can be no complaints about that. And the rest is a beautiful cartoon musical. Songs, by the way, are not as much as you might think. They are all about time and place.
Heroes cause a smile, and the cartoon itself guarantees a good mood, if not for the whole day, at least for the time of viewing.
Which is a lot.
