Vladimir Vasilyevich Druzhnikov was born on June 30, 1922 in Moscow, in a military family. After graduating from high school, he entered the studio of the Central Children's Theater, and then, in 1941, submitted documents to the Moscow Art Theater school-studio. But I didn't study there long. In 1943, the famous film director Vladimir Petrov, who shot “Peter the First”, launched on “Mosfilm” the picture “Without guilt guilty”, but the actor for the main role he was not. In search of young talents, Petrov came to the judge of the Moscow Art Theater. Seeing the tall and beautiful Druzhnikov, the director invited him to try out for the role of Neznamov. Druzhnikov agreed, but he had to leave the school-studio, as there was a firm rule: students acting in films, automatically excluded from this institution. But, as time has shown, Vladimir Druzhnikov was not mistaken in his choice. The film "Without Guilt Guilty" was released in the victorious 1945 and immediately turned out to be the leader of the rental. Needless to say, Vladimir Druzhnikov instantly became famous. Many directors offered him roles in their films, but Druzhnikov chose Alexander Ptushko. In the film of the famous director-fairytale "Stone Flower" he brilliantly played Danila-master. In 1946, the film took first place at the box office. A new role soon followed. “The Tale of the Siberian Land” – a picture by Ivan Pyriev, the master of Soviet cinema, again brought Druzhnikov a grand success and the Stalin Prize. In 1948, at the "Belarusfilm" studio, directors A. Feinzimmer and V. Korsch-Sablin began work on the film "Konstantin Zaslonov" about the hero of the Great Patriotic War, and the role of a brave partisan was offered to Vladimir Druzhnikov. The film was released in 1949 and immediately became the leader of the box office, taking second place. Thus, for four years, the young artist starred in four main roles (in total, in the period from 1945 to 1950, he had 9 films). And all these films were in the top three rental leaders. No actor knew such a result at that time, and in the early 1950s Druzhnikov was at the zenith of fame, but luck and success did not accompany him for long. Druzhnikov began to appear in supporting roles: "Admiral Ushakov", "Ships storm the bastions" (1953), "Jumping" (1955), "First joys", "Fire of immortality" (1956). Since the mid-1960s, the actor almost ceases to appear in new films. He travels around the country with concerts, performs on the radio, works in a dubbing studio. In the early 1980s, the cinema again remembered Druzhnikov, and he played in such films as They Were Actors (1981), Vertical Race (1983), Bagration (1985), The Lady's Visit (1989). However, in these paintings, Druzhnikov was busy in secondary roles - the time of his heroes was gone forever. Vladimir Druzhnikov died in Moscow on February 20, 1994.
