During the fifties and sixties, Betty appeared in various famous films and shows. In 1983, she was the first woman to win an Emmy Day Award for Best Show Host.
Since 1985, she has appeared in the show “Golden girls” about the lives of four divorced and widowed women of venerable age. Once again, she won an Emmy award, receiving several nominations for various awards. After the end of the series, she began to star in the spin-off The Garden Palace, canceled after the debut season.
At the end of 2006, she was invited to participate in the TV series “Bold and Beautiful”, where Betty played the role of Anne Douglas. She returned to this role for three years. In 2009, she decided to leave the show, and her character died from complications of the disease.
In 2007, White starred in a parody of Ugly Betty White. She also appeared in the series as her screen character Betty White.
