Arnis Licitis is a real Rigan, the birthday of the artist is the eighth of January. Or rather, officially he became an artist much later, in 1970, when he received a diploma from the Theatre Faculty of the Latvian State Vitola Conservatory. Arnis made his first professional steps at the Upita Theatre (now it is called the National Theatre), then moved to the Valmiera Theatre, but left it for the sake of the Riga Youth Theatre, to whose troupe he was admitted in 1981 - for a whole fifteen years.

1996 was a turning point for Arnis Licitis - he again changed the stage and became one of the best actors of the Riga Theatre of Russian Drama, where he works to this day. The audience saw the talented artist in the productions of “Witness for the Prosecution” (Hern), “Boomerang” (John), “Do not part with your loved ones” (Nikulin) and many others.
The first filming in the fate of Arnis Licitis took place before graduating from the theater faculty: in 1965 he played in the film.

With great success, the actor played in the historical film “Primordial Rus”, was matchless in the role of Koli Shtift in the film “The Art of Living in Odessa”.
