In the center of events is Ivan Rakitin, a major who heads the “Lynx” – one of the elite special forces units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (as Ivan Rakitin – Alexei Makarov). Many years ago, when Rakitin was still a captain, he took part in a dangerous operation – the interception of the criminal, terrorist Amir Khan, acting from the al-Qaeda group.
