Emmanuel Sophie Anne Chriqui was born on December 10, 1977. She was born in Montreal, Quebec, to Moroccan Jews and was raised in Orthodox Judaism. Emmanuel Sophie Anne Chriqui was born on December 10, 1977. She was born in Montreal, Quebec, to Moroccan Jews and was raised in Orthodox Judaism. In addition to Emmanuel, the family grew older brother and sister. When she was almost two years old, her family moved to Toronto, Ontario. While still very young, Emmanuel graduated from acting courses, which was paid for by her older brother. At Unionville High School, where Emmanuel studied, she participated in a drama circle, and after graduation decided to continue her career as an actress.
She began her film career at the age of ten, starring in advertising for McDonald’s. In 1990, she moved to Vancouver, where she participated in the TV series “Are You Afraid of the Dark?”, “Immortal Knight”, “Once a Thief” and “Psy Factor: Chronicles of the Paranormal”.
For the first time in Hollywood, she was invited in 1999 to the role of a technical support worker in the film “Detroit – City of Rock”. Then there were works in episodic roles in the films “100 girls and one in the elevator”, “On communication”, “Mix”. In 2009, the film “Don’t Joke with Zohan” was released – an American comedy about Zohan Dvir, an Israeli special forces officer who faked his own death and left for New York to become a hairdresser.
