When Eddie was preparing his video for “Whtazupwitu”, it never occurred to Michael to refuse to participate in it. Strange Too - Another Violation by Anton Corbijn is the third music video compilation by Depeche Mode, featuring more videos directed by Anton Corbijn, released in 1990. Unlike the previous video, Strange, all the videos are fully in color. There are six videos, all songs from the album Violator, released in the same year. There is one for each of the four singles, plus two bonus videos, for "Halo" and "Clean", exclusive to "Strange Too". As with its predecessor, Corbijn shot all six videos in Super-8. The tallest woman in the "Halo" video is a young Jenna Elfman. The Drive-In featured in the introduction to the compilation is the "Motor Vu Drive-In", located in Erda, Utah, west of Salt Lake City, near the town of Tooele, this part of the video being shot the day after the band's concert in Salt Lake City in July, 1990. close

In 1986, the Swedish Ministry of Health commissioned Roy Andersson to shoot a film about AIDS and the fight against it, which was planned to be shown to Swedish schoolchildren for educational purposes. In the process of working on the film, Roy Andersson delved into the independent study of the subject, as a result of which he came to the conclusion that the generally accepted version of the origin of AIDS from the African jungle was false, and that in fact the cause was laboratory experiments conducted in the United States in the 60-70s. The management of the Swedish Ministry of Health considered the author’s position of Andersson based on dubious sources of information and stopped financing the project in the midst of the filming process. As a result, the director had to edit the film from the material shot at that time, and the Swedish schoolchildren did not see anything. close
